Saving the Day

Long Chen made everyone get into formation. Cross was standing next to him, his Kimono fluttering in the wind. Cross stretched out his hand and caught a demon with a black ball. He took the black ball and said "This fellow, you're trying to pit this daddy? I knew Demon brains were replaced with shit since ancient times but seriously?"

All the demons were offended and the Humans laughed. Cross shoved the black ball into the Demon's mouth and said "You can take it back, I don't like balls." he slapped the demon forcing him to swallow the black ball before pressing his thumb on the demon's forehead and asking "Have you ever flown before buddy?"

The demon paled and Cross grabbing him by the collar as he said "Well, you're going to learn today." as he threw the demon like a missile into the Demon group. Cross said with a sneer "Explode."

The demon he threw, crashed into the middle of the Demon race's group and suddenly exploded into a black lotus, all the Dark Beasts, turned and rushed to the demons in a frenzy. Cross and Long Chen chuckled and high-fived, Meng Qi and Luna looked at each other before shaking their heads.

(okay, so Raws completely end here. Had I known this I wouldn't have come to the Saint King Competition at all. Alas, I can't tell the future. The Chinese Raws also end here, Lnmtl is caught up completely, but there's new chaps everyday. This guy only lets out 2 a day, not like me, the maniac who released 5 like a crazy person. Anyway, everything you read from now on is Original completely, which means the end is near... Very near. I'm not creative, I don't like drawn out fights so don't expect too much.)

The Demons were besieged by Dark Beasts and Cross noticed that their blood was being sucked up and disappearing. Cross smelled a sinister plot coming from the Saint King Arena, but didn't say anything. He and Long Chen watched as the group behind them took care of the Dark Beasts.

Cross said "You want that pearl?" Long Chen said "For Guo Ran." Cross clicked his tongue and said "That dumb kid, he'll trip into the Heavenly God Realm if you give it to him." Long Chen grinned and said "That would be fantastic actually."

Cross rolled his eyes and the black and gold runes on his right arm lit up as he tore the void with a finger and reached into the slit before pulling out the Pearl of Fate. He threw it to Guo Ran, who jumped up and down shouting "Thank you, Father-in-law! Hahaha!"

Everybody looked at Cross in shock, he grinded his teeth and muttered "Fucking kid, one of these days..." The arena suddenly started shaking and a blood cloud appeared over the arena, locking onto Cross, as an eye formed and glared at him.

Everybody was stunned silly.

Cross looked up and said "You finally showed yourself? I've been waiting for you, disgusting thing." he sent Long Chen a soul message "If I happen to disappear, don't curse my to have a short life. Also, make sure my family doesn't go insane. Please protect them."

Long Chen was startled and said out loud "Wait! You-!" Cross shot into the sky and turned on his new Void Battle Body. The 6 arms were covered in gold and black scales, that was pretty much the only difference... For now~

Cross threw a punch at the eye, shattering the void. The eye narrowed and a red light smashed into Cross' chest, making him spit out blood as he snarled "Heavenly God!" his words scared everyone silly.

Cross stomped on the void and he burst into black flames as he took out Aurora and flew at the eye without fear, slashing a giant black half moon slash at it. Another red light came before Cross blurred before reappearing in front of the eye and slashing upwards, stabbing the eye in the... well... Eye.

Blood poured from the eye and Cross spun the scythe out, cutting the eye as fast as he could. His shadow had a pair of eyes open on it and Cross said "Inside. Go back to learning the Shadow Merging Arts." a crack appeared on his shadow and the eyes disappeared.

Cross punched the eye and it exploded into red light, shooting right at Cross, who's eyes widened. This was a full powered attack! That's not good. He was going to move but behind him was Long Chen and the rest.

He looked back and grinned, he said "Long Chen, I'm counting on you." he chuckled and said "Hehe~ I won't die today... Right?" he punched back his rune filled arm and the runes lit up. His Void battle body, shifted to his right arm and it became armored.

He muttered to himself "I really hope I don't die. That would be embarrassing..." as he punched forward, the world changed color and his right arm was covered in black Qi. He said into his necklace "Hey. If I disappear... Don't be sad. And uhh... I love you all."

The girls turned white and Cross' fist connected with the red light sword.

The world flipped upside down and Cross was engulfed in a red light, he smiled wryly and said "Fuck." before he was drowned in the red light.

It stopped right behind him and a roar was heard as the red light turned black and flew back to the eye before exploding it, tearing a hole in the world.

The eye and Cross both disappeared. Luna coughed up blood and fainted, Meng Qi caught her and teared up. Everyone was stunned and Long Aotian laughed saying "Hahaha! He's dead! HAHAHA!" Long Chen was enraged and roared "Kill!" the entire group had red eyes and attacked, slaughtering Dark Beasts and people alike.

Long Chen looked at Meng Qi and said "Make sure none of them does anything crazy. I don't believe he's dead." Meng Qi looked at Long Chen sadly before nodding. The rest of the girls looked lost and dazed, Feng Xue'er shot her palm to her forehead, but Meng Qi caught her wrist and knocked her out.

Tang Wan'er, Dongming Yu, Yu Qingxuan, and Ye Zhiqiu did the same to the other girls before wiping off a cold sweat. These girls were crazy! Though, in their positions they would do the same. Meng Qi looked at the unconscious Luna, Feng Xue'er, Feng Fei, Ying'er, Elise, and Jasmine and said "Keep an eye on them at all times... If they wake up, knock them out again." the others nodded and watched carefully, while attacking at the same time.

A while later

Luna, Feng Xue'er, Jasmine, Ying'er, Feng Fei, and Elise woke up. They were tied up and their cultivations were sealed. Meng Qi and the rest were there and they were in a room. Tang Wan'er saw them awake and left the room.

Long Chen walked inside and looked at the lifeless girls, he sighed and said "Before he left he told me to keep you from killing yourselves... Therefore, no matter how cruel it may be, I will keep my promise." only silence responded him.

He sighed and said "You have kids, live for them instead... Also, whether he's even dead... I don't believe someone like him will die so easily." they reacted a bit to his words but nothing major. Long Chen sighed and said "Keep an eye on them, please. When they come out of this we'll start training." Meng Qi nodded gently and Long Chen rubbed his eyes and left.

He walked outside, the thrill of winning the Saint King Competition was absolutely abysmal. The group found out the Eye was, in fact, a subordinate of the Great Brahma, who was going to kill them all and collect their blood essence, so in a way, Cross saved everyone in the Competition by destroying it and stopping the plot.

There was a commotion and Long Chen went to go see. He saw a young man with two swords glaring at a Dragon Blood Warrior as he shouted in rage "You're lying! Master, can't die! He's invincible!"

The Dragon Blood Warriors were sad and helpless. Long Chen walked over and said "You are?" the young man said "Ling Jie!"

In an unknown Star Region

A bright gold light flashed and a body fell from the sky, landing on the ground with a thud. The body was completely mangled and missing a right arm and leg. Half his face was unrecognizable and the rest of his body was destroyed beyond comprehension. Yet, he was still breathing.

There was a necklace around his neck with 17 colored beads while the rest were all black, but the necklace itself was dim and dull.

A person with long pointed ears passed by and saw the body. He was stunned and found out that the body was still breathing! He was stunned silly. He picked up the half a person and left.

A while later

The man appeared at a small wooden house, a woman and a girl were practicing together. The girl was pulling on a bow and shooting at a target millions of miles away, she hit the bullseye every time. Her cultivation was shockingly at the Peak of the Hierarch Realm!

The woman smiled and said "Xuan'er, you're a natural!" the girl smiled and said "Thanks to you, mother-in-law." the woman smiled happily and they looked at the man, who was holding onto a bloody corpse like boy.

The woman said "What happened?" the man said "I found him on the outer edge. He's still alive surprisingly." the woman said with a frown "He's covered in blood, even his soul." the man replied "I don't know, I just found him like this. You think I'm worried about him being a bad person when he's half-dead?"

The woman sighed and said "Well, bandage him up and send him off." the man shrugged and walked into the house with the half person.

A few days later

The half person woke up and sucked in air with difficulty. He looked around and found himself in a wooden room, it was naturally our Elf boy Cross! Though, he looked like shit right now. He was confused and pushed himself up with his right arm, but found himself not moving despite feeling himself moving.

He took off the blanket and his eye widened at the bandaged half body he saw, he muttered "For fuck sakes..." his left hand touched his crotch and he let out a breath of relief. He looked to the side and saw a wheelchair, he pushed himself with his left arm and jumped into the wheelchair.

He wheeled himself out of the house and, seeing nobody around, wheeled away. His eye was still sharp, if it was anybody else maybe they would be in despair, but not him. A minor setback couldn't stop him.

He touched his necklace and looked at the beads, he counted 17 and let out a breath of relief. He had slipped a bead to Feng Fei and given one to Elise and Ying'er already. The 17 different colors were for his wives and kids only.

He was happy that none of them were dead, seems like Long Chen kept his promise. Cross' eye burned with determination and he wheeled off, ready to find someone to get information.

Near the wooden house, the woman and man appeared. The girl ran over and said happily "Done!" the woman smiled and said "Thank you, Xuan'er." as she took a basket of fruits from her before sighing "When I meet that damn kid, I'm going to death him to death for leaving you alone like this."

The girl sighed and looked sad, the man watched Cross go as he said "What a strange fellow." the woman snorted "He's lucky to be alive. Though, considering how bloody his soul is, the Tree will kill him when it finds him."

The man sighed and the girl said "That half man? He left?" the man nodded and said "Yeah, just now. Strangest thing... He had half a body left, but he was unperturbed. The only time he panicked was when he was looking at a colored bead necklace."

The girl froze and said quickly "You said colored beads!? Was the rest of it black?!" the man nodded and the girl grabbed him saying "Which way did he go!?" the man was startled and said "That way" as he pointed and added "Why?"

The girl was naturally, Lu Mingxuan, who ended up with Cross' parents in the hidden Star Region where the Tree of Life was hiding along with the elves. She ran in the direction Cross left in as she shouted angrily "That's your son! Idiot!"

The man froze and the woman dropped the basket of fruits in shock.
