CHAPTER 48

　　Onyx

　　My eyes opened suddenly and I stared at the ceiling for a while, until I was sure that I was back to my room. The faded memories of that stranger were bugging me and I couldn't keep my hands off to me. It felt like a dream but i knew it wasn’t.

　　I gathered myself and rushed to the bathroom, and washed my face with the cold water. The numbness tingles down to the cheeks made me realise that this isn’t an end. This is just the beginning of an upcoming storm.

　　The wolf was familiar but estranged at the same time. He killed my parents for lust of power. One thing was sure that he won’t give up easily.

　　I relaxed my popping nerves and retracted my claws back. This is not a time to waste but to control and think wisely before action. When I was back in my room, I saw Fiarra. She was panicked.

　　She explained to me what happened earlier when I asked her about the incident after I passed out in the ghostly snowy land.
