Familiar

It had been three years since Theodore and Joshua entered the human realm. Though they both had trained to be human, it was difficult for them at the beginning to get along. It was very different from their demon realm. Also, the human realm was full of technologies.

At first, it was hard for both of them to get used to everything. And, being able to use the advanced technologies was even harder. But after some months, they were very good at handling everything.

Theodore and Joshua lived in an apartment together. They were given missions as a duo. So that they would complete it faster and return to the angel realm. They both missed Joseph from time to time. But were unable to send messages to him because they were busy completing the missions.

The human realm had changed both of them vastly. Theodore, who looked soft and dressed in light clothes, had emo vibes now. Theodore had permed his hair with a shag haircut. He had started to wear everything black. Theodore did a piercing on his lower lip and multiple piercings on both of his ears. He liked wearing earrings. The old Theodore, who had a comforting vibe, had now changed. While Joshua hadn't changed much from his appearance. But his behavior had changed. After coming to the human realm, Joshua realized that he was bisexual. He was flirtatious. He hooked up with a boy or a girl now and then.

But Theodore had always been in love with Joseph. So, he had no interest in other people. All Theodore could remember was the kiss that they had shared, the kiss with Joseph before parting. He regretted that he didn't go to spend time with Joseph before parting.

Demons had to change their name after coming into the human realm as well. Theodore and Joshua thought a lot about what they should change their name to. Instead of changing it completely, they both decided to use the short form of their original one. Theodore had changed his name to 'Theo' and Joshua to 'Josh' They decided to keep it simple so that Joseph would easily find them. 'Theo' was a special name to Theodore because Joseph used to call him that. They both had tried to search for Joseph a lot but couldn't find him. It was because Joseph was yet to come to the human realm.

Theodore and Joshua worked at a cafe for two years. They had saved up money from their earnings and had decided to start a bakery. Their bakery was a huge success. Humans were fond of the baked items from their bakery. Because of the bakery, they didn't have to worry about the money anymore.

Because of the success of the bakery, they could focus more on their missions than on earning money. So, they started focusing on their actual work more. They also enjoyed their time in the human realm. They went to nightclubs now and then. Theodore was into gaming, while Joshua was into fashion, clothes, and make-up. Both of them were addicted to mobile and social media. They were kind of famous on Instagram as well.

Within three years, Theodore learned that humans weren't as good as the human realm was. There were different types of people. Though they looked good on the outside, they were evil on the inside and wanted to step on everyone to get higher.

Theodore and Joshua were already on their way to complete the 50th mission. Their 50th mission was to punish a teacher who had sexually harassed his girl students. To punish the teacher, they chased him to the forest of the gods. The teacher was horrified and was running for his life. After reaching deep into the forest, Theodore and Joshua surrounded the teacher. The teacher was stuck and scared.

"You made those young girls cry in fear and horror. Being a teacher, you should have taught them to speak up on these issues. But you forced them to remain silent. How can a person be so horrible !" Theodore was angry.

"I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Please give me one last chance. I beg you. I won't do it ever again. Please! " the teacher begged on his knees.

"You think we didn't give you the last chance? We did. When one of your students decided to raise her voice against you, what did you do to her? You threatened to kill her and even **** her. You should have just accepted your crimes at that time and should have gone to jail," Joshua was disgusted.

The teacher fell silent. He couldn't utter a single word.

"Since you even failed the last chance we gave you, you will be given a punishment. You will write all of your doings in a letter and send it to the police station," Theodore's eyes were evil.

"And, if you don't, we will take you to a cliff and push you off it. And make it look like a suicide. And don't worry, we have a video of you harassing your students as the proof," Joshua smirked.

Horns and wings were slowly coming out of Theodore's and Joshua's bodies. Their eyes were evil. Their punishment was scary. But, the person receiving it was the worst of all.

Joshua erased the memories of the teacher meeting them from the teacher's memory. He controlled the teacher and made him write the letter. After the teacher wrote the letter, Joshua sent the teacher home by a cab. The cab was destined to get into an accident. And the teacher was destined to be disabled as his punishment. Joshua also sent the letter to the police station. Like this, they even completed their 50th mission.

While Joshua was busy completing the mission, Theodore's attention was somewhere else. Theodore saw two boys across the river. One of the boys seemed very familiar. So, he started to get closer to get a better look.

"Theo," Joshua shouted. Theodore was startled. He hid behind a bush and turned back. Joshua was running towards him.

"Why do you have to be so loud?" Theodore was annoyed.

"Oops. I'm sorry. But what are you doing here? We should go home now," Joshua replied in a low voice.

"Oh, I was looking at that boy. He seemed pretty familiar to me," Theodore pointed his finger towards the boy across the river.

Joseph looked in the direction where Theodore pointed and said," Wow. He looks exactly like my type. Do you have any interest in him? What about Joseph then?" Joshua was mischievous.

"Shut up, Josh! I love my angel. There's no doubt about that. But still, I feel like I know that guy from somewhere," Theodore said.

"You must be mistaken. We don't even know anyone besides us in this realm. Let's go home now," Joshua said.

"Okay. We completed the 50th mission. Now 50 more to go. I'm going to have a good night's sleep tonight," Theodore giggled.

With this, Theodore and Joshua went back to their home. Little did Theodore know the guy that he felt familiar with was someone very precious to him.
