Scene 10 : The Only Woman

Before Arthur opened his mouth, Michael cut in first.

"I can use my status too to choose her, right? Do you still reject it, Lord Arthur?"

Their room suddenly turned quiet. The temperature dropped and there was a cold aura emanating from the second prince. Logan pulled his hand down and sat upright. Marianne slowly lowered her hands too. There was a time when the cheerful Michael turned into someone else.

Only those closest to him know about it. Compared to the crown prince, the second prince was far more vicious. When he smiles, he could stab his opponent without a single burden. Lilian waited in the corridor that crossed the main lane, hoping to catch a glimpse of where Arthur was. Bella who saw her immediately approached.

"What are you doing here, Lady Lilian?"

Lilian almost jumped in surprise. She was so focused that she ignored her surroundings.

"Oh Miss Bella, I'm waiting for my brother." She answered after calming her heart. Her eyes returned to look for Arthur's figure. After a moment, Lilian gazed at Bella from her side.

Bella put her hands on guardrail and leaned over, without talking. She followed Lilian's line of sight.

"Do you need anything from me, Miss Bella?" Lilian glanced at the girl next to her who didn't leave either.

"Actually, it would be more effective if you went to the meeting room now."

"Why?"

"Our class members and seniors are gathering there."

"What?!" Lilian widened her eyes.

"Didn't you hear the notice in class earlier?"

Lilian was too focused on compiling the next steps so that she didn't listen to what was said at the end of the class.

She cleared her throat, awkward, before immediately turned her heels and headed for the meeting room. Bella just frowned before catching up.

"Let's go together!"

In the meeting room, their colleagues have taken a seat. Some people who looked more mature than them stood in front, including Arthur. Lilian smiled happily when their eyes met, but Arthur only glanced at her and looked away.

Lilian bit the inside of her cheek in annoyance. 'Patient ... be patient ... you need extra patience, In Ha!'

Lilian could not help but drag her gaze at the man who had not taken her eyes off her. She could see Michael smiling and waving at her. Lilian narrowed her eyes and ignored him. What caught her attention was the figure of Marianne, who from the first time she saw her, was always attached to Arthur's side.

In front of dozens of her junior eyes, Marianne remained by Arthur's side. Only a fist away.

"I wonder what test this time will be given."

Lilian's attention was distracted by the voice beside her. She didn't know since when Winni sat there. Bella, who sat on the other side of Lilian, chimed in.

Lilian just quietly listened to them exchange opinions.

"Let me introduce you. My name is Logan Billiphan, the first lieutenant of the kingdom's main division. Now, I'm sure some of you already know what we intend to gather you here for. But for those of you who don't know, today we have a test for juniors who intend to carry out their final assignments in the attack and protection strategy division."

All attention were on the person speaking on the podium. Lilian felt the enthusiasm in the room increase.

"As you all know, other divisions will come here in the next few days. So as a start, if you are serious about wanting to intern in this division, please stay in your respective positions. And for those interested in other divisions, welcome to leave the room. "

"Miss Lilian, aren't you coming out?" Bella touched her arm. Winni first stood up.

"Women will find it difficult to be in this division."

Lilian saw that almost all the men in her class remained on their seats. In other words, the people in this room were the people who automatically register an internship in Arthur's division.

"Sorry, I guess I'll stay."

Winni and Bella looked at her in horror. Lilian was determined. She did not care when all the eyes downing on her. This was a golden opportunity for her to get closer to Arthur.

She would survive even if she's the only woman left.
