Apollo 13

It's been 2 months since the events of the auction. The months were quiet so Hisoka and Sigma didn't have much to do.

Hisoka did have a few things he wanted to do. He wanted to go to the moon and the sky islands but he also wanted to get the newspapers under his control. He could do either of those things at any time. It was a question of what he wanted to do and he wanted to go to the moon.

Every child has dreamt of going to the moon and Hisoka was no different. It was much easier to get to the moon. All he needed was a balloon theoretically and because the moon was so close to the atmosphere humans could breathe on it.

The things he was most interested in was the ancient civilization of Birka and the "Race" of automata that are on the moon. He was indulged in the history behind the sky races that descended from the moon hundred of years ago due to a lack of resources. They drew their history on the walls of the of their place of living as a remembrance of sorts.

He was always leaning towards taking over the entirety of the sky islands. For the extreme chance that he was not safe on the blue sea anymore, he'd have somewhere to retreat to and continue his work plus it would be nice to have a place where he controlled other than his own island.

"Sigma lets go on a trip." Hisoka said.

The two were both sitting in a room signing papers for a few requests they had gotten.

"A trip? I'll do anything to get away from these papers." Sigma wasn't a fan of sitting in one place and doing something so monotonous. He placed all his papers down and stood up. "Where will we be going?"

"The moon."

----------------------

"Are you sure this will take us to the moon? It seems rather, bland." Sigma commented.

"I take offence to that. This is our Apollo 13."

Hisoka called it a balloon craft. A bunch of helium balloons carrying a basket. It was a feat of great ingenuity despite all of Sigmas words.

"I just thought we'd have a rocket, going to somewhere as grand as the moon deserves a grand method of transport." Sigma explained.

"Perhaps the smaller things are the better things." Hisoka couldn't really find an excuse so he was making up the words as he spoke.

"Yeah sure." Sigma easily saw through Hisoka, his dream of going in a rocket was ruined but he said nothing more.

The pair jumped in the balloon craft and they began flying high. Hisoka imagined that He and Sigma were both weightless so their weight didn't affect the craft.

The two went higher and higher into the sky and were just below the clouds.

"What will be doing there? I'm sure it's not just to have a picnic." Sigma questioned, he was so happy that he wasn't behind a desk that he'd forgotten to even ask what they were going to do.

"I want to see the automata on the moon, and also the city of Birka."

"There's a city there? Sounds fun."

"Yeah, I just want to look around and if see there's anything worth taking."

-----------------------

It only took the pair a few hours to get to the moon. Since the moon was so close to earth they didn't have to worry about breathing.

Being on the surface of the moon was a very surreal experience for Hisoka. One of his life long dreams had just come true so it took a while for it to sink in. The view from the moon was fantastic. Watching the endless space dotted with stars it was a sight to behold. He wished he could stay here forever in peace.

Hisoka snapped out of his trance and began his search. Sigma had already left him and went to go search for things on his own. The floor on the moon felt much softer than the earth. Its rocky appearance was just a lie.

He walked for a while before he found something interesting, it wasn't what he was looking for but it was definitely something he was expecting.

2 space pirates. It wasn't exactly human, it was a fox looking creature that could stand on its legs. They were here to excavate the moon for its treasures. He wanted to take one back home for a few experiments but the rest he didn't care what happened to the rest.

Hisoka imagined a briefcase and a hunting rifle. He put one knee to the ground and placed his rifle in front of him. He levelled it to the pirate on the rights head and fired.

The bullet seemed to take a while but that was down to the distance between them, Hisoka managed to spot them for quite a far distance so they didn't see him or the bullet coming.

Once the pirate's body dropped the one next to it broke into a sprint trying to get away. But it was all for nothing as a cage appeared around him, he was trapped.

Hisoka jogged to the animal that was trapped in the cage. He wasn't sure if they could talk so he wanted to see how they would react to human speech.

"Hello! Can you understand what I'm saying?"

Hisoka didn't get a reply, all he got was a confused face. Hisoka sighed, he wanted to be able to hold a conversation with this new form of life. He decided to proceed with his original plan. He entered the cage and was instantly attacked. They seemed to use spears as their main weapons which interested Hisoka.

He quickly dodged it and managed to land a punch to it's stomach. The animal bent over due to the impact which gave Hisoka the chance to kick him in the back of the head knocking him out cold.

Hisoka took the briefcase in his hand and opened it. He placed it on the ground and grabbed the body of the pirate and stuffed it into the briefcase. The space inside was endless so he could fit anything inside.

Once he had contained the pirate he continued his walk and walked for what felt like an hour. That's when his eyes noticed something.

An opening for a cave. The opening that led to the ancient city Birka.

I saw that Joker made a new one-piece story, that should occupy my time for a while.
