Chapter 11

It was a few hours since the battle in the warehouse, which Peter was ultimately still terrified about.

They managed to take a Hummer—making sure they were secure and safe if they were to be attacked.

Peter finally licked his eyes open, looking at the morning sky.

It's been a day since then.

He found Asiris driving and Micah blankly looking out the window.

Weirdly, the car smelt of lavender and gas, giving this blissful combination.

Suddenly, Peter was jolted by Asiris's abrupt question.

"So you're awake now?"

Peter, stammering in fright, answered, "Yes."

"Listen, I'm very sorry about you getting kidnapped."

Peter said nothing in the least, contemplating what happened that past night.

"Why did you try to save us?"

"Well, because you guys are important."

He was quite confused towards the answer, forcing Asiris to explain more specifically.

"You guys don't know, do you?"

Peter shook his head, fibbing about who they were.

Asiris continued, "Well, you guys are princes of Heatherland."

"Meaning?" Micah finally spoke.

"Meaning that you guys contain a power that no other can hold. And you can end this war once and for all."

"What war?"

"A war for Earth."

"So, galaxies?"

"No, not like that—but you guys are being chased by the Ikes."

"Who are the ikes?"

"The Ikes are our enemies, who want to capture the Heather Eye, and use that power to drain us, and give them unlimited power."

"So, why did they come for us then?"

"Because only the King's family can hold the orb. No other can unless they kill you."

Peter, now interested, returned with another query.

"But, how did the war start?"

"Well, decades ago—we and a bunch of kingdoms were welcomed into Top-Earth by the top-earthlings to stop a kingdom that wanted to destroy us all. And so were the Ikes. When they saw the prosperity of the main part Earth, they wanted control of it."

"Oh, then what happened?"

"We defeated them, and kept an orb that gave us power over the Ikes. But now, I think they're trying to steal it."

"And if they steal it?"

"Well, expect yourself to be in a dungeon forever."

Micah almost choked on himself, thinking about that possibility.

Asiris continued, "This is why we need to train you to fight. So you can harness the power with ease and defeat them once and for all."

"I didn't know that," Peter said. "Who is harnessing the power?"

With no answer, Asiris stared at Micah—sighing for some reason.

"Who's been having the visions?" "Micah."

"Then he's the one."

"What?"

"Yes," Asiris said, looking at Micah. "He has to be the one to save us—but you never know."

Micah started breathing hard, trying to realize what he just said.

He was the one?

He can only drive a jetski and a car.

He couldn't save the world from anything!

Micah plumped to the back of his seat, staring blankly at the ceiling.

Asiris nodded.

"I know it's a lot to take in, but it needs to happen. Plus we have arrived at the kingdom."

"Kingdom?"

Peter and Micah quickly skirred to the left window, finding a big castle upfront.

"Now, might as well take this in. Because this will remain here if you win the war."

The vehicle hummed into a stop, as two heathers in front reached for the handle.

Opening wide was a road with a bunch of people holding their gasps.

Until one screamed—"It's him!"

Soon enough, everyone was cheering and dancing as the Hummer drove through.

Peter stared at the smiling and cheering faces—waving shyly.

"Wow, this is...different."

"You can say that again," Micah praised, rapidly waving his hand.

They were starting to fade away, as they finally reached the other gate.

Now it was full of heathers leading the car to its acceptable position.

Then the car stopped, opening the doors electronically for them to get out.

In amazement, Peter muttered, "Cool." The two boys quickly slid out of the car, staring at one person with a crown.

He had an orange beard and very orange hair, which he wore a big purple robe that was painted with jewels. He was accompanied by a forty-year old woman, with pale skin and white hair.

She wore this blue dress that sparkled all the way to the ground, whose smile was very comforting.

They were also accompanied by a person who looked a bit like Asiris, but had a blue suit with many buttons and a scar from his ear to his neck.

"So these are my sons?" the man asked, giving a beautiful smile.

"Yes, your Heatherness," Asiris answered, bowing quickly.

He looked at them for a while and then smiled. "These are my sons."
