Chapter 7

"Mrs Greentower, how are we going to kill Murphy?" One criminal pondered.

I thought they failed at kidnapping Murphy!

"I personally think that we should go with the poisoning," Mrs Greentower suggested.

"Also, can you recruit me and Alice to Murphy's law office?" The vocal teacher requested, "We need to seek revenge after Murphy defeated the queen."

What the heck, didn't the voice teacher despise the queen. I'm so confused right now.

After they finished their planning, I decided to get a taxi to Murphy's law office. I have to warn someone about this.

When I arrived at Murphy's law offices, I rushed to the main door, trying to make it in on time.

"Hello, what's the hurry?" The receptionist wondered.

"They're coming for you?" I warned her, trying to catch my breath.

"What do you mean?" The receptionist asked, confused.

"Ok so, this morning I overheard them talking about burning the building for revenge purposes," I explained, "I haven't got any evidence unfortunately."

"It's ok, I'll ring Murphy to bring security outside the perimeters of this building," The receptionist assured.

As the receptionist was calling Murphy, I sat in the waiting room, constantly worrying about the safety of my siblings. Serena should've kicked the vocal teacher out a long time ago, cause clearly she hates Murphy, but Serena was blinded by the vocal teacher's kindness to even be suspicious. Also, what if Serena doesn't believe me, and says that i've been seeing things? Gosh! I should've recorded that evidence on time. Now the criminals are going to possibly destroy Murphy's buildings. I should've known.

"Murphy's here," The receptionist informed me.

"Ok thanks," I answered, as I was getting up from my seat.

"I should've known Nicole was behind this," Murphy shook her head in disappointment, "It's like they're obsessed with me to even think about going near my property."

"I know right, ever since they've been dating, our company has been attacked," The receptionist confessed.

"Um hi Murphy, I came here to discuss about the threats to our co-"

"I know it is Nicole, that brat is obsessed with me or something," Murphy snapped.

"Yeah, about that, I have reasonable suspicion that the vocal teacher is keeping the queen's legacy," I claimed.

"The vocal teacher? I thought she hated her?" Murphy exclaimed in shock.

"I thought the same too," I agreeingly answered.

"Ok then, i'll look out for her, but in the meantime, I want you to go home now, and stay away from this," Murphy instructed.

I walked out of the building, and I was heading towards the car, when 2 police cars arrived.

Am I in trouble? I thought.

"Hey, please get out of our way, we have a situation to handle," The police ordered, as I was getting out of their way.

I ran towards the car, and when I got in, I saw Murphy talking to the police officers.

As they were talking, the car moved, and they were disappearing in the distance.

When I got to the palace, I rushed to the front door to inform Serena about everything, even though I wished I had proof of this.

"Hey Penelope," Serena waved, "Where have you been?"

"I was at Murphy's office to discuss the criminals at the vocal teachers room inside the palace," I explained.

"Criminals? But the vocal teach-"

"Yeah I know," I interrupted, "We all thought she was innocent."

"She is," Serena argued.

"That's not what she was when she stole the potion this morning, and left a note," I refuted, "If you want proof, ask Phoebe or something, she could've taken a photo."

"Ok, I believe you," Serena sighed.

"If you'd believe me, then you wouldn't have argued," I mumbled.
