Chapter 8

By noontime, I was strolling outside, when I got a text from Ally saying that James was missing. When I saw the text, my jaw dropped, and I was in shock.

Where did you last see him? I questioned.

Idk, maybe around Mokland park or something Ally replied.

Which direction did he go? I questioned further

I remember him going to the cherry bushes before he suddenly disappeared. Ally explained further, And didn't one of Murphy's enemy's do something to him?

You might be right, I replied, realized.

When I got to the palace, I furiously stormed to the vocal teacher's ward.

"Why haven't Serena kicked her out," I mumbled, as I was stomping.

As I was walking, the palace sounded awfully quiet. Even the guards were all the way on the other side of the palace.

When I arrived at the vocal teacher's room, I peeked open the door to make sure the criminals weren't there, and the vocal teacher wasn't there because the vocal teacher and her "gang" probably is torturing James, or probably is harming the people.

"This is my perfect chance to find out the true colors of the vocal teacher," I grinned.

I rushed over to the desk, and dug through papers to see which one of them can prove my evidence that they're criminals. Luckily enough, there was one document that lists all of their evil plans, along with 2 CDs that probably are them coordinating their actions.

I took my phone out, and positioned my phone to get a perfect snapshot of the document. Serena has to read every single detail.

Then, I placed the CD on the tape, and as I predicted, the crimnals were discussing their evil plans to torture this town, and their steps to do it. I stole the CD, and the tape, and ran all the way to Serena's room.

"Hello, what is all this stuff for?" Serena wondered.

"I have further proof that you're letting a criminal in your home," I claimed.

"But she's not a cr-"

"Save your statement for after the proof," I snapped.

I placed the tape on Serena's bedside table, and put the CD inside it. When the video started to play, there was shock and disgust in Serena's eyes, as she was horrified by what the vocal teacher's true colors were.

"I-i'm sorry I didn't believe you," Serena apologized, "You were right all along."

"You should've believed me in the first place," I shook my head, "Anyways, are you planning to kick the vocal teacher out of this house."

"Yes, definitely, after what I saw today," Serena answered confidently, "But, she's going to, she's going to haunt me in the future."

"Don't be scared, you have the security guards," I comforted her.

"Ok then, I will kick her out," Serena reassured.

"Bye," I waved, as I was walking out of Serena's room.

Later this evening, I was in my room, crying because my boyfriend probably is hurt by one of those criminals.

"I wish Mokland didn;t have to be like this!" I sobbed.

Ever since the 2 criminal groups spawned, life has been so difficult in Mokland, with families living in fear, and children crying because they're in danger. And the police were no help at all solving this mess. Instead, they were being lazy and silent, and backing up when we needed them the most. I'm so upset that there's nothing for me to do to help the already traumatized community. And on top of that, Serena isn't even believing

anymore unless I show evidence to her. Even if someone is intentionally trying to kill me, she would still not believe me. That's the kind of sister she is.

"Hey Penelope, I um, you might need to see this," Alex walked in.

"Ugh, not another one of those letters," I complained.

Alex showed me the letter, and this time it was even worse. The letter was threatening to kill me if I speak to Murphy. My heart was hammering like a drum, as I was in shock.

"Oh. My. Gosh," I panicked.

"Someone is clearly trying to go after you," Alex analyzed, "And that someone has a huge grudge against you."
