Bullying Is Fine

Compared to him, others had it much better. Take the other awakened people for example; they had at least gotten a score of 3 or higher while he only had a score of 1 point.  Not to mention he had bruises all over his body along with his clothes torn apart while the others were quite fine.

He really did score the lowest. 

However, for Garen and Farold, it seems that the fight had been relatively easy for them. When they came out, both of them got a perfect score of 5. 

But, the difference in their ability was obvious. While the puppet assigned to Garen had signs of melting on it, Farold's had been completely thrashed out. 

Its limbs had been severed and further crushed into different pieces.

Not to mention their puppets' states, the amount of struggle they had on their puppet was clear on their clothes; Farold's pretty neat with just a slight torn on the hands which he assumed it was because of his transformation while Garen's… well, it had been burnt apart mostly. 

It seemed he still can't control his powers properly for now. 

…..

A month later.

Right now, a group of teenagers could be seen in a basic plank position. They had loads of sweat rolling down their bodies to their heads and eventually onto the floor. 

In front of the group was a dwarf, with head full of orange beard along with a silver stopwatch within his hand. The time showed exactly 6:17 which showed how much the teenagers had been in their plank position for. 

They seemed to be in a training, quite an intense one at that seeing people's teeth digging into their own lips, making blood drop from them. 

Fortunately, this didn't seem to last much long as soon, a girl with a brunette hair fell down onto the ground. 

Along with this, the people seemed to have visibly eased up as their bodies became looser and their teeth also stopped biting into their own lips. 

However, they still didn't fall onto the ground, most likely due to the fact that they respected the young girl and didn't want to set a negative impression on her. 

Why they didn't want that to happen was because this girl was a literal goddess. 

Flawless skin and a big, bright pair of pupils. She even had curves, she was only 13 at that. Who knew what kind of goddess she will grow to become. 

Well, everyone except only one person. 

It might have seemed like a coincidence but right after the girl's body started to fall, so did the boy's. However, the boy only fell to the ground after this girl had did. There was about half a second of difference in their time of fall. 

The girl 'goddess' seemed to be quite vengeful for this boy as she took a glance towards the boy in a gaze filled with hatred. 

The boy, who had a pair of black pupils didn't pay any attention to her at all as he just walked past her and sat up somewhere. Then, he picked one of the liquified nutrition nearby and started drinking. 

Heck, this girl was worth nothing to him. 

Let her have her own little hatred against him. It still doesn't disinclude the fact that she was his scapegoat of punishment. In fact, he was quite grateful for her, except that she might feel the opposite for him… 

Well, who cares right?

This boy was Cylius. 

About a month ago, the training program for the orphans had started. It was divided into two parts, physical body enhancement and combat ability enhancement.

You could guess their content from their names.

There was a catch though, whoever that had the lowest score wouldn't receive their meals. 

It meant that if they somehow got the lowest score, they would have an empty stomach which would also result in a worse performance and getting the lowest score again. It was just like a vicious cycle that once one got swept in, they would be unable to exit it. 

Most of the orphans would generally think the former was easier. After all, through the combat ability enhancement, they would end up getting many bruises and cuts on their body while the physical body enhancement won't have anything like injuries and pain. 

Someone would bear the brunt for them while they could basically drop after this someone and get no punishment. 

However, for Cylius, it was the opposite. 

He liked the combat ability one while he passionate hated the physical enhancement. 

Due to his weak body, he had already gotten himself known for his weak body but strong combat skills. 

And he had really been receiving the lower end of this deal for the first two weeks. 

He had no meals since he ranked the lowest but fortunately, he had been able to snatch someone else's meals everytime and preserve for the training. 

However, one day, something changed. Miraculously, he was able to last more than one person who was this girl. 

She had been badmouthing him before saying how he was bullying the people and how he should be like Farold - the knight on a white horse. The hero that people wanted. 

And from the moment he was able to last more than this girl, he kept doing this thing of his - calculating when she would fall and fall right after her. 

He was very much delighted about this result which resulted in him eating nutricious and tasty food once again. For the girl she would get nothing but he didn't feel about that part. 

In fact, the girl, due to her looks was even able to acquire male underlings like pokemon and had basically started her own fanclub. 

Seeing his not so chivalrous actions, the other males got enraged and then confronted him about it by threatening to beat him. 

Well, his response was putting a gun up their heads and threaten to kill them if they dared to threaten him again. 

They said -

"Then do it! You can't! I bet you haven't even killed a person before" 

Well not the whole thing. The pitiful person died before he can finish his words but Cylius could more or less guess the remaining words. 

As for why he dared to kill the person? First, because in order to show his status and not make people mess with him later.

Second and most importantly, there was no consequence in doing that. He asked the AI and its answer was that there was no punishment because they were training future soldiers. 

That was that. 

They weren't much of a threat, but, Farold was a different case altogether.

Firstly, Farold seemed to have a chivalrous knightly nature and wanted to solve injustice, therefore, quarreled with him. 

Secondly, Garen, who had something against Farold picked a fight with him and when Farold quarreled with Cylius, he happily joined the quarrel and made the matter much deeper, eventually resulting in them quarreling at any given time. 

Fortunately, he and Garen was able to resist Farold, albeit small. At least, they didn't lose to him. 

However, Farold was improving day by day. He was becoming stronger and Cylius could feel it. Sure, they, the other innate gene awakened orphans were also improving by the day. 

But the rate Farold was improving was abnormal. At this rate, he was scared that within another week or so, Farold would be able to crush the two of them - Garen and Cylius with ease.
