Chapter 8 - Cannonfodder Bobby

Robert sat in a meditation pose trying to create a round membrane around himself. Robert has attempted creating a shield for at least six hours but just before he succeds the bubble of mana busts making his efforts in vain.

Rustling in vicinity alerts Robert, making him spring up like a startled bunny. Having suffered from being careless yesterday, Robert didn't bother to check if he is in danger so after seeing a shadow appear from a nearby tree he sent a manabolt towards the tree making it explode.

Scared from the sudden attack Bobby raised his hands above his head and yells" I am unarmed don't kill me." Robert mouth hang open in surprise before replying "What are you doing here?"

Bobby smiled bitterly considering his options before deciding to come clean. "I don't have a choice but to beg to join as your henchman, I was ordered executed by captian Morgan."

Robert eyes stared at Bobby like a cat eyeing a mouse before a sinister smile crept up his face. " Hmmph okay but you have to earn my trust first. " Bobby nods his head timidly. "Alright become bait for me so I can hijack Alvidas pirate ship I got a good idea." Says Robert while threatingly lifting his hand.

"But that is suicide!" Yells Bobby in protest while shaking his head from side to side. Boom. A tree behind Bobby explodes sending tree fragments flying in the air. "Maybe but so is saying no to me." Sneers Robert while turning his right arm so his palm faces Bobby teary eyes.

3 hour later

With his shaking legs walking as slow as possible Bobby eventually reached Strawdog Village's dock where the Alvida Pirates ship is anchored.

Gathering his voice as well as his courage Bobby yells"Alvida come out and fight me you old hag!".

Slam. The pirate ships cabin door slamed agianst the side rebounding back and forward after a massive figure stepped out in the sunlight.

Bobby is scared out of with when he sees Alvida bloodshot eyes and gritted teeth.

Alvida looks like a witness to her parents murder and even the threat of death couldn't deter her from ripping her nemisis to shreds. "Yo-you brat! I will burn you alive for this. Catch him! "Alvida and her crew charged at Bobby like mad bulls leaving only a handful of pirates to guard the ship.
