9 Chapter 5 - Reopload
Robert sprang to the side when the corner of his eyes spotted the muddish red spikes on the massive club.
Slam.Robert manges to avoid a direct but feels his ribs in his right side shatter when the club brushes past him. Robert gasps in agony while trying to pick himself of the floor with his left hand while clutching the devil fruit in his right.
Feeling the force of swing coming from the left Robert rolls away while cursing his own carelessness. Using the force of his left palm and the tips of his toes, Robert manges to get up on his two feet. Raising his head to inspect his attackers Robert grits in anger while simutainiusly lifts the poisonous looking black orange to his mouth and takes a big bite.*Ding* A blue screen appears in Roberts vision. Devil fruit absorbtion is sucessful.
"Hmmph you think having a snack will save you kid? Go get him boys!" Yells Alvida.
'What a fool Alvida is. She set up ambush to kill that pirate but she didn't even bother to pick up the worn looking wooden chest.' Thinks Robert. Wings appear on Roberts back when he transform to a demi-human form.
"What magic trick is this? Did he use halutionary drugs?" Exclaimed Alvida In surprise and disbelief.
"Time for paypack" Says Robert with a malicious grin on his face. With Roberts right arm strenched out and his palm open he rains havoc on the defenseless pirates taking a life each passing minute with a manabolt. *Ding**Ding* Multipile blue boxes that signifes leveling up covered Roberts vision. Robert laughed with glee and praises his luck for getting the power that saved his life with only the chance 0.1%.
"Damm you useless good for nothings why don't you shoot him!?" Yelled Alvida in fury."Captian you told us not to bring any because you told us not to alert the marines when we set up a ambush to kill that rich pirate. How could we possibly know we would offend a demon that can fly freely in the skies?" Answers a man with with red eyes and with two clear teartrails on face desparing over the loss more than half the crew.
Robert chased Alvida and her crew until the boundary of Fire Forest before going back in hiding because he knew that fighting more than 20 angry pirates armed with guns was not a bright idea.
Bobby Potter couldn't believe his eyes when he sees the Alvida Pirates beaten black and blue by the beggar from before. When Robert turned his head towards Bobby with a evil glare Bobby dropped his gun and ran away as quickly as possible and didn't stop till he met up with a group of marines patroling the town after hearing the news of the Alvida Pirates setting anchor at the dock of Straw Bird Town.
