Conquering the Mystic Realm Part 10

"I… Did you notice that? I'm sorry Elisa that I didn't tell you sooner. But it's just the situation of our family is not very ideal. I have been kicked out because I decided to love someone who is not a Noble like me… but look at where that ended for me. "It's fine, Mother. You have me now, I promise to take care of you and I will never leave you like what he did." Elisa purposely called her Father because she didn't want to call him like that because he was a bastard and when Alvitr heard her words, she could feel a venomous intent in her daughter's tone making her worried. But this time she merely ignored it and enjoyed the comfort that Elisa was giving her because she needed it after the confrontation.

But in Elisa's mind she already knew that her promise would never come true because she knew that this world was just fake and once she was done it it, she would just leave. She would be lying to herself if she was not reluctant as in this world she felt the true love of a Mother that she didn't have when she was little, especially after hearing that all of the love that she received was just fake.

"Cheer up, Mother. If you don't want to return, I also won't! With you by my side, it is enough for me. I don't need anyone else." Elisa said as she wiped the tears of her Mother before wrapping her tiny arms around her and hugging her, this action of hers melted Alvitr's heart, she simply returned the hug feeling teary eyes again, but instead of tears of sadness it was happiness.

"Thank you, Elisa. Also, I'm sorry if your Mother is so weak and useless, but don't worry. I promise that I will change and become strong for you." Alvitr said with a gentle smile on her face as she let go of Elisa to look at her with a smile before kissing her forehead softly.

Elisa didn't say anything as she merely enjoyed this feeling before hugging her Mother once again and the two stayed like that for a few more minutes without saying anything, they merely listened to each other's heartbeat and enjoyed the feeling.

When the night finally dawned, Alvitr was already asleep with Elisa in her arms. She had a smile on her face as she slept peacefully and seeing this, Elisa moved out slowly not wanting to wake up her, but as she moved out, it was as if Alvitr knew it. She now had a frown on her sleeping face as she tried to find Elisa in her sleep.

Seeing this, Elisa kissed her forehead slowly before whispering in her ears some magic words that put her back to sleep calmly. Now she was calmer and no longer had a frown and seeing this, Elisa now could leave now to practice more without worrying. But just as she was about to leave the house, she felt a presence outside of their house and she could already tell that there was a lot.

Knowing this, she already that the people who visited their house in the morning either didn't leave or camped outside waiting for anyone to come out. Elisa feels frustrated at this moment because she can't do anything to make them go away as she is still too young and her magic proficiency is not that high yet as the way the Magic works in this world is entirely different from what she is used to.

The way the Magic works in this new world that she was in is entirely different from the Immortal Realm as in this world there are no such things as Soul Realm and Veins. The Magic in humans just stays inside which makes it harder for her to control because she can't easily direct all of them as she still needs a lot of practice to get better.

Elisa read in a book that if a person were born with Magic, he/she would need to visualize their Mana getting pooled in one spot which is where the starting point of the magic, which can be their palm, hand, arm, leg, or just any part of their body. But of course, it's not only limited to the physical body, a magician would be able to manifest it outside if they wish to.

As for the Magic Circles that she is so proficient in, she found out that she can't use them until she has full control over her Magic, and to tell that she is full control is whether she can surround her whole body with Magic because currently, she can only do it to a specific one part of her body. Which was still far from enough.

But that didn't faze her, she opened the door and met all of them head-on. But of course, she was not going to meet them with her usual self, in this kind of times, a facade would do her better which was her innocent little girl facade.

"Hello, big brothers and sisters. What are you all doing in front of our house at this late time?" Elisa asked innocently as she rubbed her eyes with her small little hands. She also held a stuffed rabbit in her hands and looked at them with her cute eyes.

This move of her's startled them as none of them expected the little girl that they met earlier to actually come out, so someone from the team immediately ran away to tell their leader what happened. As for the person who was right in front of Elisa, she calmly bent down to her level with a smile on her face.

"Hello, you're so cute. What is your name?" She asked and she even tried to pat Elisa's head, but she dodged it which made the woman disappointed because she thought that the little girl in front of her was so cute, but refused to be touched.

"I'm sorry, big sister. But Mommy said that I shouldn't give my name to anyone I don't know and let them touch me." Elisa said with an apologetic smile on her face and when everyone heard it, they felt their hearts melting because the little girl in front of them was just so cute. They could see that she was hesitating whether to follow her mom's orders or not and she was conflicted making her look even more cuter as she held her stuffed rabbit tightly in her arms.

"Oh, don't worry about it. I'm glad that your Mommy actually told you that because she is completely right. But you don't have to worry about us, we are not bad people. My name is Mia, I'm a Commanding Knight of the Strasser Family."
