Chapter 12 interlude
I am Belladonna Demonshire, a witch. A curse fell upon my family when they were researching demons on the lost island. They knew that something like this could happen, but greed took over them.
Any demon spell is as powerful as any ancient dragon spell, or any angelical chant. However, even if they had powerful spells, what they did best was curses. The curse that my family carries is a top tier, of one of the seven deadly sins, the high-rank demon of Pride.
The curse killed all of my family members, except for one girl. She then was blinded by the demon, and her soul was stripped from her body. The demon then possessed her. This episode is widely known as the Wrath of The Pride in history books. The apostle of Monetis defeated the demon at the time.
Although the demon was purged, the girl's body suffered the most damage. But the demon hasn't finished his reign of terror. He couldn't possess the girl again, but he could make her go berserk. The curse power was enhanced. The girl's body loses color, turning into a complete white. But her powers reached the sky.
Explosive power erupted from her tiny body, devastating a whole continent. She lived, and her descendants shared the same curse as her. Blindness and absence of color. I am the last descendant alive.
