MEETING THE TRAITOR

MAYA

Maya looked very surprised to see Frederick.

Tyron and the wolf fighting with him stopped, they all stared at Frederick and Maya.

Suddenly, the other wolf shifted back to his human form, instantly Maya raged at the sight of Nathan.

"What are you doing here, Traitor!?"

Maggi lashed out. At that moment, she charged towards Nathan in other to attack him.

Nathan didn't make a move to defend himself, he just hung his head low and waited for Maya to launch her attack on him.

Frederick who saw how fast and raged Maya had become immediately came running towards her, he stood in front of her.

"Calm down, Maya, we can fix this".

Maya's wolf growled at Frederick and he trembled, it is no longer strange that Maya's wolf made all of them obey her without a fight.

Frederick immediately paved way for her as she ran towards Nathan, everyone had thought Maya was going to devour him in seconds seeing how angry she had become.

When she came in front of Nathan, she growled in his face, all her fangs were visible, her eyes became deep blue.

She growled over his face in anger, but she never acted.

Tyron and the rest who were still in their wolf form all hid their tail frightfully.

When Maya had growled at her heart's content, she just walked away from their midst, shift to her wolf and raced back home.

Tyron wanted to chase after her, but he decided to stay back and find out why these rogues are out here.

Everyone shifted back to their human form, waiting for Frederick's command.

"Who are you and why are you out here?" Tyron asked the leader of the group, Frederick, in no soft tone.

It wasn't strange that as the son of an Alpha also gave Tyron the commanding tone to which to command other werewolves.

"We came for her" Frederick replied.

Tyron clearly wasn't pleased with what Frederick said.

"She doesn't need you, and if I remember correctly, you all are the reason she left in the first place"

Frederick had become furious at this statement.

"What do you know defenseless rogue!"

This caused growls among them and their wolves about to devour each other but Nathan quickly interrupted?

"We possibly can't be out here fighting among ourselves when the person we all care for is angry at us, I suggest we start thinking on how to make her come with us.

"Who do you think you are?, if there's anyone she wants to avoid seeing now, it's you!" Tyron lambasted Nathan.

Nathan immediately kept shut, he knew what Tyron said was right, besides he had long been expecting a day like this.

But it was better she's angry at him, even if she wanted him dead, he's willing to die but even his death cannot atone for all the crimes he had committed against her.

It would be an honor if she was the one to give him his death.

Maya had run into the woods, where they set their traps.

Her mind became troubled. She wondered how Nathan had come to be with Alpha Frederick.

Could it be that Blood Rose pack has finally fallen to doom?, Maya thought as she ran in her wolf form.

Later that evening, Alpha Frederick explained to Tyron, everything he needed to be known about the relationship between Nathan and Maya.

Tyron became bewildered at the series of information he just got.

Never had he thought Maya would undergo such torture.

How could a girl like her shoulder such responsibility?

Now he understood why Maya's wolf had been so different from a normal wolf.

She was the legendary female Alpha that had been extinct for a thousand years.

"Wait, so you mean we have to find her guardians or protectors as you call it?, but how do we do that?".

Nathan and Frederick looked at each other before facing Tyron.

"Actually, we have found two, and we are left to find one"

Tyron became confused at this statement.

"Who are the two that have been found?"

Frederick and Nathan pointed to themselves, which made Tyron stare at them in bewilderment.

"And we think you are the third"

"What!, me?, how come?"

" Alpha Maya could have lived this long without the enemies finding out where she was, only because she's with her protectors. That's what witch Vina said."

Tyron looked at them confused, could this be the reason he's being attracted to Maya even when his wolf did not recognize her as his mate?, he wondered.

"So, what is the plan?" Tyron asked, looking so very much interested now.

"The plan is to train her into being the strongest Alpha and help her find her mate". Frederick said.

This made Tyron feel skeptical about finding Maya's mate.

"About training, I can tell you that she's gotten better over the year, but this Mate, where do we find him?".

"We can't find him, only Maya's wolf can" Frederick replied.

This will be a tough battle, how are they to look for her mate when she hasn't found him.

"So are you in any way saying, the only way for her to fully attain her powers is when she's mated to him?".

Frederick nodded in agreement, and so did Nathan.

HOURS LATER

"Please hear me out Maya, I know I deserve to be killed by you and I will let you do whatever you please but just let me right my wrongs".

Nathan pleaded for Maya's forgiveness sincerely.

"There's nothing to talk about, you betrayed our pack, you've caused the death of a thousand including my family, I will never forgive you!".

Maya stated in pure hatred and anger.

Nathan's wolf whimpered in sorrow, what were they to do if their Alpha wouldn't forgive them.

"Lucas is still alive". Nathan said with his hanging low, unable to meet Maya's eyes.

Maya immediately gazed up at Nathan, her anger seems to have dissipated a little.

"Where is he now?".

"In our rogue community" Frederick said walking towards them.

Maya became delighted at the news of her brother being alive. Just when she thought she had lost everyone in her family.

Nathan began explaining everything that's happened back at Blood Rose pack, and how the three of them escaped thanks to Frederick.

When Maya heard about how Tania had rescued her brother, her anger became totally washed away.

She remembered how Tania had tried to help her, but the pack warriors didn't let her, she never knew Tania would turn out to be the one who helped her.

They had fought those war wolves together and that seemed to be one of the bitter-sweet memory she had about her pack.

"So, what's the plan now?" Tyron asked Maya.

Maya became very startled to hear this from Tyron.

"Don't feel surprised, you don't expect me to leave you at this moment, specially when I know you will be up against Silverstone pack soon."

Maya smiled at how Tyron was willing to support her, she looked at every one of them who looked eager to help her in her fight, and her joy knew no bound.

"So you will go to the rogue community now?"

"Yes I will, Alpha Maya" Tyron replied.

"We are all coming with you Alpha Maya"

Egon and Clara said excitedly

This surprised Maya, how did they know about her being an Alpha.

She glared at Frederick and Nathan, who immediately looked walked out innocently.

Tyron gave a hearty chuckle seeing how hilarious they were.

TYRON

Ever since Tyron had found out about Maya's identity, also about him being her guardian, he had suddenly grown to be more confident.

Now he had finally found a cause to fight for, at first, he just wanted to live a simple life with his siblings, but after seeing how determined these rogues are, he had changed his mind.

Indeed, Maya was right when she had asked him to go to the rogue village, if only he had gone, he would have had the courage to fight for his pack.

To top it all, they all shared a common enemy which was Alpha Derrick, he would surely join in this fight.

Maya had given him a second chance to fight for what rightfully is his, so now he would do anything in his power to protect her.

They have a long battle to fight and all they had to do was make their Luna Alpha ready for what's coming.

Clara and Egon walked up to their brother Tyron, they sat beside him and watched the new family they will be having soon.

"I'm so excited brother, so finally we will be reclaiming back our pack" Egon said smiling.

Clara was silent, she just stared at the direction of Maya, seemingly confused.

"What are you thinking about Clara?" Tyron,, who had noticed her silence, asked.

"I'm just wondering. I'm a witch who can read thoughts, but when it comes to Maya's thought, i cannot read, is she really that powerful?".

Tyron and Egon chuckled at their sister.

"Yes she's really that powerful, and besides you need to be graced by the moon goddess to be able to read the mind of a powerful Alpha like Maya".

Egon replied to his sister.

Clara heaved a long sigh, she can't wait to meet the moon goddess finally.
