The Beginning

8 years later.

In the downtown area of Lindbergh City.

Dylan was lazily scrolling through the YouTube page, he was not specifically finding anything, Dylan was scrolling the YouTube page to see some video and procrastinate, slowly he was scrolling the YouTube page and checking out the thumbnail of the different videos but nothing arose his internet to watch them.

"Huaa.. no good video is coming."

Dylan continued to scroll through the YouTube page, sleep was taking over him, due to sleep he stopped scrolling but he didn't completely close his eyes and continued to sleep, a video thumbnail had aroused his interest, but he didn't directly click on the video to watch but for few seconds he carefully observed the thumbnail without his notice he was now completely awake and now all his attention was now on this video.

Dylan continued to watch the video thumbnail then his attention fell on the channel name, he knew a small production house ran this channel he had also watched their work before, he had to admit that their work is of his linking so he didn't continue to scroll ahead, while he was still on looking at the thumbnail he remembers a news which was two or three week old that suddenly this production house owner had been changed, and a single person completely owned it.

While he was thinking about the news he saw at that time he didn't focus on it that much, now he is curious how the new work of this production house will be under a new owner, Dylan was just going to click the video to play but his attention fell on the title of the video which surprised him very much.

"How the hell can they forget about the name of the video, they just put the trailer in a bracket as the name of the video, how they can mesh their own upcoming projects."

Dylan was irritated when he saw the name he felt disappointed since he liked the work of this production house now seeing their sloppy work on presenting the video Dylan lowered his expectations from this video but he still clicked on the video to watch.

When he clicked the video he was still hoping that they could do something amazing again it was his slightly biased feeling towards them.

The video started --- In a dark damp room a young boy was slumped on a bed he was not sleeping but with his gloomy eye, he was seeing the light which was breaking in the room through the cracked area of the window and door.

"My child what can you do the darkness which you could not see through your eyes."

A man in his forties who was beside the young boy on a chair said to him."

The young boy didn't say anything he just continued to look towards the light which was seeping from the window.

Seeing that the child didn't say anything he continued.

"My child what can you do to the light which is passing through the gaps and cracks of the window and door."

This time the young boy was going to say something but he stopped when he saw that the man didn't wait for him to speak and continued.

"My child you can solve the problem easily that you can see, but what about the problem which you could not see with the naked eye."

"Child when I was your age, I had a close friend who wasn't related by blood, but he felt like a brother. We grew up together, played together, and I always thought of him as family. But, you know, he was really a special person."

Looking at the young boy on the bed and noticing his silence, he went on, "Would you like to know why I'm sharing this with you, child?"

The young boy responded, "Yes."

"Child, my friend was very special, I am saying this not due to my filling towards him but the ability he possesses and what he was capable of."

"He initially aimed to aid the common people with his abilities, yet one day everything changed. His objective shifted, focusing on safeguarding the common folk from an enigmatic adversary. Determined to uncover this unknown foe, he harnessed his powers and even risked his life. However, upon discovering the origin of this adversary, he met his demise."

"A dear friend, akin to my brother, lost his life laying in my hands. He endured immense suffering and trembled, his blood staining my grip. Regrettably, I could only bear witness to his passing, helpless i could not do anything but can only watch him losing his life slowly. His agony must have been indescribable; he clung to my hand, attempting to convey something, but the excruciating pain rendered him speechless. All he yearned for in that moment was liberation from this unspeakable torment."

"My child this is how it was started."

The scene changed in the video in a huge large plane which from afar could look like a large city but when seen from close, large piles of bodies can be seen accumulated everywhere and a large group of people could be seen surrounding the city and looking coldly at the sea of a dead body.

"As the video progressed, the camera angle shifted once again to reveal a smaller group of people standing before a larger one, appearing to beg something from them. The smaller group seemed to be in a position of supplication, their body language and expressions conveying a sense of urgent need, while the larger group loomed over them with a mixture of indifference."

The scene changed again this time it was a different place but it was like the same scene as before but there were some dead bodies on the sideline and no one was moving them away.

The scene changed and this time it returned to the damped and darkroom again.

"My child what you know about this world currently is not the real world look like, people here can go to any length to gain power, but this only apply to specific range of people and other are just slave for them...."

The video ended there.

After seeing the fabulous trailer Dylan became interesting in this series.
