INT. STACY APARTMENT - NIGHT
Gwen lays in bed, constantly calling Peter's phone and listening to the voicemail. Her eyes look tired, sunken.
She calls Peter's number one more time, before her eyes widen, surprised that someone picked up.
MAY (O.S.)
Hello? Gwen?
GWEN
May! I'm so sorry, I'm probably disturbing your sleep. I'll stop calling.
MAY (O.S.)
You don't need to do that. Trust me, I know what it's like to miss his voice too.
Gwen cries. It seems she isn't completely out of tears yet.
GWEN
I don't know what I'm going to do.
MAY (O.S.)
Something that helped me when Ben died was helping others. Granted, losing Peter is by far the hardest thing we've ever endured. But endure we must. They might be gone, but I like to think that a little part of them stays with us, you know? In our hearts. Think about it this way, what do you think Peter would want you to do? Obviously not move on, that'd be absurd to do so soon. He wouldn't want you to give up.
Beat.
MAY (O.S.) (cont'd)
You're welcome to come over anytime, and of course, keep calling his phone if you need to. I'll make sure it's charged.
GWEN
Thank you, May.
MAY (O.S.)
Oh please, it's nothing sweetie. Okay that's enough chit-chat, get some sleep. Love you.
GWEN
Love you too, bye.
Gwen ends the call and sinks into her bed.
She fires a web at her light switch, turning off the lights and ending the film.
