Sixth Day

The soft tendrils of morning light filtered through Kayden's bedroom window, casting a warm glow upon the room as they announced the dawn.

The gentle touch of sunlight slowly roused him from his slumber.

He yawned and stretched his body, feeling the fatigue of the past few days settling into his bones.

It had been several days since his fight in the forest, and now it was already his sixth day in the Trial, which meant there were just two days left before it came to an end.

During the previous days, Kayden had done many things.

On the one hand, he continued looking for information about the Assassins Guild, which led to him having to face assassins again on different occasions.

Fortunately, the biggest group he had to fight simultaneously consisted of only three assassins, and he swiftly took down one of them before the others could react.

Besides, he discovered a few things about the guild by interrogating the defeated assassins.
