Prime Minister Si's Residence

Soon after, everything was set and well prepared for her departure, Xiaoli got into the carriage and they left the palace.

On arrival at the Prime minister's residence, her carriage came to a stop outside the gates of the residence. The carriage was opened by one of the guards and the princess majestically came out.

Her dress was simple but her beauty could even make the most simplest of outfit look exquisite. She wore a light yellow with red designs silk outer robe, her pitch black hair was packed on top and the others let down.

She had long eye lashes, slim perfectly carved brows, small pointed nose and a pert pink lips. Her face was a slightly full V-shaped face.

The prime minister and his family members rushed out to welcome the crown princess. They all bowed their heads to her as they greeted her.

"Welcome to my humble residence your royal highness" the Prime Minister greeted.

"Greetings crown princess" the others chorused.

"Please come in your royal highness. You should not be in the sun too long" the Prime Minister said to the princess in the most caring manner.

"There would be no need for that. Where is Si Chen, Prime Minister?" She asked the Prime Minister. He stood there looking at her with a look of fear and shock.

Indeed Si Chen was none other than the Prime Minister's pride, his first born son and had been betrothed with the crown princess since she was little. They learnt together in the palace and over time she became accustomed to him and loved him as did he.

But now the crown princess has specifically come to see his son again but he wasn't here to welcome her. What excuse would he give to her? The fear was evident on his face as a chill ran down his spine.

They both had a little misunderstanding and his son refused to speak or go see her, it has been a week now and the princess has come looking for him herself.

"Your highness, perhaps he is training and not aware of your visit. My apologies, I would have someone send for him now" he politely said, trying to save his son from his stupidity.

He thought to himself...

"How can this boy be this stupid, who gets angry at the crown princess, your future wife? He should count himself lucky that she came to pay him a visit" he gave an awkward smile at Xiaoli.

"I am lucky, the princess loves my son so much. I would soon become the king's father, my backing at court would be immeasurable. Yes, now where is that son of mine" he thought again.

He smiled to the princess and ordered an attendant to call for his son.

"Would her royal highness love some Chrysanthemum tea?"

"Thank you prime minister, but I am okay waiting here for Chen. He had promised to take me somewhere today. So I'll wait for him here" she gently replied.

The Prime Minister was going to have a headache. The crown princess in his residence and standing out in the sun for that matter. If this matter gets out, he would be made a laughing stock and scorned at by those ignorant people.

Everyone seemed impatient, hoping the princess would enter or that the Young Master Chen would come out on time.

********

In the training grounds, the Young Master is seen cultivating his spirit energy when an attendant informed his head attendant of the situation.

"I would inform the Young Master at once" the head attendant said to the female attendant.

She leaves while he walks towards where the young master was cultivating.

"Young Master Si" he called out from a two feet away from him.

Slowly he opened his eyes...

"Have I not told you I do not want to be disturbed while cultivating, Gu Min."

"I am sorry Young Master but... "

"Who dares disturb my training... " Gu Min was cut short by his voice as he roared in anger.

"I did."

Her silhouette form could be seen from the distance. She walked closer to the training grounds and her full appearance could be seen clearly now.

She was simply beautiful even in her simple attire. She had an imposing aura as she looked at the Young Master, making her look like a rose, beautiful but dangerous.

"You have a problem with that?" She asked the dumbstruck Si Chen.

"Your royal highness" Si Chen and his attendants all bowed down their heads to greet her.

"You forgot, didn't you?" she said casting a cold glance at Si Chen.

"Forgot wha..." he paused, seeming to recall what she was talking about.

"You refused to talk to me or come see me Si Chen. So I mean nothing to you?" She asked him in anger.

"I'm sorry Princess Xiaoli."

Out of everyone in the kingdom, only he directly called her that and she loved it when he did, sometimes when they were alone he called her by her name.

He was romantic and annoying at times. Like now when he didn't come look for her. They only had a small argument and he let it continue for that long.

"You actually said you do not want to see me again. That I should leave you be. So I obeyed" he said pointing out the truth to her.

Indeed she had told him that, but she didn't really mean it. She was joking, yes he hurt her feelings and she got mad at him, but she expected as usual he would beg her and make her happy again.

Instead, this time around he simply just left and didn't contact her. Who does that!

"Si Chen. You knew I was joking" she said loosing her cool.

"You seemed pretty serious to me."

She turned her back to him with her arms crossed over her chest. It was a funny sight really. She looked really cute pouting her lips like that.

He loved her, he really wanted to see how she would react if she didn't hear from him in a while, and it pleased him so much seeing her like that, all baby like.

Here was the Dragon Princess, high and mighty and the strongest fighter in their land now acting like a baby. She really was her father's favorite, well technically she was his only child.

Late King Li Xiu, pampered her and trained her the hardest. Si Chen smiled and walked to her front and gave her a peck on her forehead.

"I'm sorry Xiaoli. I missed you so much. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings the other day. Please forgive me princess."

She looks away, blushing faintly...

Boy was she a pampered princess. He caught her blushing and hugged her.

"We're outside Chen, the attendants are here."

By now the attendants took their gaze away from the young couple but some still peeped at them, making Xiaoli blush the more.

"Let them look. I'm with the woman I love."
