The Ancient Script (2)

With a deep sense of terror still coursing through his veins, Theodor gingerly grabbed the book once more, and to his relief, no harmful consequences followed. He carefully placed it in his bag, determined to investigate its mysterious contents and the power it seemed to hold.

Leaving the library behind, he ran his way back home, the weight of the enigmatic book in his bag a constant reminder of the unknown secrets it might reveal and the danger that lurked within its pages.

Theodor arrived home in a state of hurried anticipation, pushing open his door. To his relief, he found the house empty, allowing him to continue his exploration without interruption.

In his haste, he closed the door behind him and locked it securely, as if sealing himself within the confines of his sanctuary. With a sigh of relief, he set his bag down on a chair, still feeling the weight of the mysterious book within it, and so he took it out and placed it carefully on his table.

Theodor's anticipation grew as he opened the box that had the appearance of a book. To his surprise, it wasn't a traditional book but a box designed to resemble one. Inside the box, he found a rolled-up scroll made of old, weathered paper. The mysterious content of the scroll awaited him, its secrets shrouded in the passage of time. With trembling hands, he carefully unrolled the ancient script, eager to uncover the knowledge it held.

As Theodor was about to begin reading the ancient scroll, a sudden THUD echoed through the house, and he heard the sound of his front door being opened. His heart raced as he realized that someone had entered his home. He quickly rolled up the ancient script and looked around in panic, Theodor's heart continued to race as he heard the familiar voice of his mother entering the house. With a mixture of relief and anxiety, he carefully placed the ancient scroll back into the box, ensuring it was hidden from view. He then hurried downstairs to greet his mother and attend to the presence that had disrupted his exploration of the mysterious script.

Theodor found his mother in the living room, her warm smile offering a comforting contrast to the enigmatic events of the day.

"Hey, Mom," he said, trying to sound as casual as possible.

"Hey there, how was school today?" she asked, a hint of concern in her eyes.

Theodor hesitated, unsure of how to explain the unusual occurrences. "It was... interesting," he finally replied.

His mother gave him a knowing look. "Interesting? Anything you want to share?"

Theodor considered revealing the book-shaped box and the ancient script, but the mysterious nature of the events left him uncertain. Instead, he said, "It's nothing, Mom, just a strange day. I'm still trying to make sense of it."

His mother nodded, her motherly intuition sensing that something was bothering him. "Well, you know I'm here if you ever want to talk about it."

Theodor managed a weak smile, appreciating his mother's understanding. "Thanks, Mom. I'll let you know if anything comes up."

With that, he left the living room, the events of the day lingering in his mind, and the enigmatic ancient script hidden away for further exploration when the time was right.

He went upstairs and Opened the scroll back again.

It was ancient and Rough with Japenese kanji written with tar, he did not understood what was written and it was giving him some strange wibes.

The scroll said.
