After my explanation, Sargon did not show any sympathy towards me. He was angry and could not stand my presence. When we were in the room, he avoided my gaze.

I didn't want to die without his forgiveness. He was the man who showed love. He protected when he could. Without him, I would have been anywhere trying to please royals.
I went on my knees and begged him to forgive me. The expression on his face showed that he was confused. There was so much going on in his mind at that moment. He needed time and a quiet place to think.
