Chapter 34_ Aidan's day off

Racheal turned to him, he had no expression on his face right now."what do you mean by that?" she questioned.

Aidan took one glance at her "your dad didn't finish it that statement, when you run your enemies are bound to find you" he simply stated which left Racheal in deep thought.

Racheal was waiting in anticipation, wondering where Aidan was taking her to "Aidan where are we going?" she asked they've been driving for nearly thirty minutes now.

"you've always wanted to visit the movie theatre to watch a comedy show with someone".

Racheal gasped, how did he know that? she only wrote that in her pink journal.

Aidan gritted his teeth, they were being followed, he shouldn't have brought her out here with him. this city was unsafe for her as of now.

His phone vibrated but it was in his pants pocket, before he could reach for it Racheal brought it out handing it over to him.

He tried to smile at her but he couldn't his face remained stiff, he picked up the phone "yes Sam what is it?" when he heard what his assistant said his brows collided.

"well tell them that it's Aidan's day off" he stated tossing the phone to the back seat.

Racheal pinched herself to see if she was in a dream, why was Aidan acting nice it was scaring her.

She touched his forehead to check for a fever "umm Aidan are you alright?" she worriedly asked this was unlike him.

Aidan released a deep breath, this nosy girl won't stay quiet.

Her eyes darted to his cheek which she had kissed earlier, her lipstick was imprinted on it.

How come she didn't see this earlier, she took the box of tissue out from the back seat of the car.

Aidan wondered what she wanted to do with that, he almost forgot to turn the steering when she started scrubbing his cheek with the tissue.

His hands pressed the horn " because I'm being nice doesn't mean you can become too close to me" he scolded.

Racheal showed him the pink stain on the tissue paper "I was just wiping this off your face".

Racheal turned red as she faced forward.

Lyra was having the worst day of her life babysitting Brian, he wasn't even making it easier for her.

She heard the bell ring again before going up to his room.

She opened the door for the seventh time in less than one hour " now what on earth could you possibly want?" she was already getting irritated by his constant disturbance.

Brian faked a cough, he sat up on the bed "don't worry if you are not willing to help me I'll just do it myself" he replied coming down from the bed.

Lyra rushed to his side to support him from falling, he rested one arm on her shoulder for support. "what do you want?" lyra asked.

Brian let out a grin I want to use the bathroom, Lyra's face scrunched as if disgusted by the fact.

"I can't follow you to the bathroom" lyra seconded.

Brian's grin turned upside down "see? that's the reason I said I'll do it myself" he replied trying to stand on his own two feet.

He faked a fall pulling lyra with him on the bed, lyra bumped her head on his chest.

Her gaze locked with his for a moment, she saw his hand move into her hair pulling off the band holding it up.

She snapped out of her daze getting off his body, she touched her hair, if he kept on doing that she might go out of bands for her hair.

Lyra helped him up from the bed and supported him to the bathroom, she faced away while he did his business.

After he was done she led him out and made him lie on the bed.

"get some rest now" lyra commented taking the little bell along with her.

Aidan had to change his mind about going to the movie theater.

Yesterday he had read some of the things she always wanted to do but something was fishy about the whole thing why would she list those down?.

Racheal stole glances at Aidan without making it obvious, perhaps his mum and sister were right about him being kind on the inside.

For once she suddenly admired the man next to her, she remembered how he risked his own life to save hers.

She owed him a lot, she held her cheeks that were starting to hurt after blushing too hard.

Aidan didn't miss her reaction, he wondered why she was turning red all of a sudden.

The car stopped in front of the amusement park, Racheal's eyes widened in surprise a wave of pain flashed past them also.

She remembered years ago how she always wanted to visit this park with her parents but her parents never had chance and the day they finally had chance she lost them forever.

She suddenly felt guilty, maybe if she hadn't disturbed her parents so much about going for a picnic then they might still be with her.

She opened the door and stepped out of the car, when they got inside the park they saw the long queue waiting to get a ticket into the park.

Racheal's face turned sullen, they will have to wait for so long before getting in.

Aidan stepped aside and made a call before Racheal knew what was going on she was nudged into the park.

Her lips curved into a smile seeing the huge rollercoaster, she immediately pulled Aidan along with her to have a ride.

Aidan felt like a human lost in an alien world, he watched Racheal happily ran off to a stand he followed her to the stand.

Racheal picked a pink bunny ears headband and placed it on her head.
