"She has finally decided to grace us with her presence." I heard my brother say immediately I walked into the dining room. Everyone was sitting except me. So, I sat on the empty seat close to Rowan who was already busy eating.

Celine nudged my brother with her elbow, probably trying to get him quiet. Which I have to say, is utterly impossible.

"What?" Anthony said as faced his fiancee, Celine, feigning innocence. Then, he turned towards me to ask. "What took you so long, huh? Mummy went to call you guys about fifteen minutes ago and you're just coming now."

This time, I stepped on his foot under the table. "Ouch! You can't silence me. We all know what kept you so busy—" He was about to say something cringing when both Celine and I stepped on both his feet at the same time. " Argghh!" He looked at me with anger in his eyes and then looked at Celine like she had betrayed him. "You women!"
