" I don't know, Austin. I don't know..." I shook my head as I lied. My gaze stayed on the almost empty dining table. There were only cutlery arranged with table clothes on the table. " Where is the food? I thought it was time for breakfast." In the mansion, there was a specific time for breakfast. I guess that was a way for Mr Greystone to keep things in order.
" I know you're lying, Amanda. You are not a good liar, remember? Tell me, what does Mr Greystone want with me? Why am I here?" He asked me and no matter how I tried to digress he would bring it up again.
" Fine!" I almost yelled. Snd then I sighed. " He found you in the club yesterday. He thinks you and I met up. Or more rightly put, he thinks I'm cheating on him with you." I clarified.
Immediately, Austin literally started laughing. "He thinks we have a thing going on?" He asked, the amusement in his voice was obvious.
