Stress relief

You know, I shouldn't be surprised at how much money this school has with sponsors. They have massive school grounds, the USJ, and five mock cities in which they conduct tests in. Add in all the robots that keep the place clean and repaired along with helping the staff; UA must be swimming in money.

So when I found out the school had a shooting range for people with long-range quirks, I asked if I could use it. Nezu agreed and had Snipe show me where the shooting range was.

.

"So, here you go partner," Snipe said as we entered the range.

"Finally, I can blow off some steam," I said as Snipe walked to a console and typed something in.

"I know the feeling. I come here weekly." Snipe told me as a white drone came flying out from the wall with a piece of paper attached to it. "This here drone will listen to voice commands. So it will do what you tell it to. For example, set distance 50m." He ordered the drone.

.

I watched as the drone flew down the range to the halfway mark and stop. Snipe then explained that the drone would float there until it was called back with the console. He and I both drew our respective sidearms and fired at the same time. The two of us looked at each other and smiled beneath our masks and helmet/hat. Without a word, Snipe summoned another drone, this one in blue.

It flew over to the white one and floated by its side. I took the challenge and fired my remaining five shots into the paper the blue drone was holding. Then the drone flew back over to us. The paper that the blue drone was holding had five shots within a half-dollar size clump. Snipe took the challenge and five more rounds were sent down the range. The white drone then floated back and a similar grouping was done within a dollar's width.

.

"I'm getting rusty if a youngster can outshoot me and my quirk." Snipe scoffed and spoke.

"Your quirk, it's called 'Homing' right?" I asked and got a nod in return. "You're good, but you rely on your quirk too much."

"I know that, but it's hard to control what I hit," Snipe admitted. "I can lock onto a target, but I can't control where I hit."

"Have you tried to target specific parts? Like limbs and the chest?" I asked.

"I've tried in the past, but all my efforts were useless." He explained. "I've learned my farthest range but I haven't been able to target specific parts before."

"Do you see your targets as a whole?" I asked, seeing if a hunch I had was correct.

"If you're asking if I focus on the whole or part of the target, I've tried." He sighed "You think I haven't tried all that before? Even with Nezu's help, I haven't been able to find a fix for the issue."

.

I sighed and asked if he wanted me to help him get better at shooting or even modify his gun for him to be more accurate. Snipe declined and said that he built his guns himself and won't let anyone touch them. I relented as I could understand being picky when it came to mine. Soon after he left, I was alone in the range. I sighed as I sent the blue drone away and sent the white one back to where it previously floated.

I sighed. I had been putting off figuring out how and why a scouting team of Primus and a Legon spy were here. I know I had died long after both of those factions were wiped off the face of the earth. I had dealt with Caesar with an [9-iron] in single combat. Primus, I took his head clean off after fighting him and his faction for a year with my family. So I know they are both dead factions.

Yet, why were they here?

My thoughts were muddled. And it wasn't due to the alcohol coursing through my veins or the mutations. It was due to having to deal with hormonal teenagers.

Most were well-behaved, but a few of them got on my nerves. To name a few:

Bakugo Katsuki, he's brash, has anger issues, and has a god complex.

Shoto Tordorki, a wannabe emo teen with daddy issues.

Yuga Aoyama, an attention whore that constantly sparkles.

Koji Koda, the boy flinches whenever someone spooks him and is a coward.

And Minoru Mineta, class 1-A's pervert that constantly harasses the girls.

These few students are more than a headache. They are too set in their ways to accept anything else. Bakugo, though, learned that he's not the best there is and that there are people that far surpass him. But, that didn't do much for that god complex of his. He still looked down on the rest of his class.

Thankfully the rest of the class was decent but still had their own problems. I won't go into detail about them since it would be too much of a headache.

.

Anyway, back to figuring out why the Legon and Primus scouts were here.

The Legon I knew of was dead and dispersed with only remnants remaining. Primus and his army were hunted to their extinction, I made sure of that. So, why?

That was the question. Why?

Why were they here? Why was I here? Where is here? And who else is here?

Those four questions were what was muddling my mind.

I sighed, again. This was so confusing.

I laid back on my bed as I gazed out the window of my dorm. The stars illuminated the sky brightly but the lights from the city next to UA drowned them out mostly.

This world was so different from the Mojave. No radiation storms, no acid rain, or raiders. I mean, sure there are still drugs, prostitution, and muggers. But with these so-called heroes running around, crime is low. But even I know that the most dangerous individuals are those that can keep to the shadows.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised that the man behind the USJ attack was a hundred-or-so-year-old villain. Maybe All Might has a weak form where he is vulnerable.

...

...

...

I just figured something serious out, didn't I?

Well, only one thing to do when these things happen. Plan for the worst and hope for the best. That and alcohol. Everything's better with alcohol. I think I have some Fancy-lad Snackcakes in my [Pip-boy] too. Tonight's gonna be a good night!

I awoke to someone pounding on my door. Getting up, I knocked aside a few bottles of whiskey aside and stumbled to the door before nearly ripping the door off the hinges. On the other side was a very pissed Aizawa, if his glowing red eyes were anything to go by.

.

"Where were you last night?" He demanded and it was only then I realized that All Might was right behind him with an angered look in his eyes.

"Relieving stress." I calmly told them as I moved aside to show them the discarded bottles and wrappers. "I haven't left the dorms all night." Damn mutations, can't let me have a dang hangover anymore. "Why?"

"Someone went on a rampage last night, killing scores of wanted villains." He told me, his eyes still glowing red. "All that was recovered, along with their bodies, were bullet casings. .357 caliber casings. You goto choice of weapon."

"I haven't left. The security logs of last night should show me entering my dorm after leaving the shooting range." I countered with a sigh. "Besides, what's wrong with them being dead? Less work for you heroes and much less paperwork."

All Might chose this time to speak, "All lives are worth saving, no matter who they are."

"Bullshit," I nearly shouted at the man, "I can tell just from the way you walk, you have killed someone before. Or at least close to it and you're injured because of it." That made his and Aziawa's eyes go wide. "And from the way you two reacted, I'm right."

"That's not the point of why we're here." All Might sputtered before he started to cough and I could smell blood.

"Drop the act." I told him, "I already figured out you have some sort of weakness that causes you to last for a few hours only like that. I can also smell the blood you just coughed up. So just do us a favor and drop the act."

.

All Might and Aizawa looked at each other for a brief second and then glanced down the hallway. Once they made sure the coast was clear, All Might release a deep breath. Then I watched as he shrunk down from a 7ft 3in tall brick made of muscle to a six foot thin and lanky shell of a man. I wasn't surprised by the transformation, I've seen worse.

.

"Please, don't let anyone know." He asked to which I nodded then he lifted his shirt to show a nasty purple scar. "It's as you said, I have killed someone and this was the price I paid for it."

"Trust me, I know." I sighed, "I know all too well."

"Enough with the melodrama, we're here because you are currently the only suspect that uses a .357 caliber weapon even among heroes."

"Well, I have been here all night like I'd said." I reiterated. "Was there anything defining about the murders? Were their bodies moved in a particular way? Where they shot in specific areas?"

"According to the police report, they were all shot in the limbs before being left to bleed out," Aizawa spoke. "And from the looks of it, they were tortured as well with the use of a sharp blade."

"Long thin cuts?" I asked, having a hunch of who it might be. But the chances they are here, I rather not consider it.

"No, these looked like they were made with a wide blade. Unlike a combat knife, maybe a sharp axe." All Might answered for Aizawa.

"Then the one I thought of isn't here." I sighed in relief, "If they were here, we would have a massacre on our hands."

"Who?" Aizawa asked, rather demanded.

"A madman from my world." I answered, "Called himself the 'Axe Man', I traveled with the man until he returned back to his roots as a raider. He's the only one that comes to mind since he carries the same as me with the axe he uses. I let him be since he was only targeting other raiders, but once he started attacking innocents, I put him down."

"Couldn't you have put him in jail?" All Might asked.

"He didn't give me the chance." I sighed, "I went to him as a friend trying to reason with him, but he laughed and came at me with his axe. It was either him or me. I chose my survival over his. I kept his axe after I did the deed as a memento that even those with a good heart will fall if the abyss looks back at them." I told them as I pulled out [Axe-Man's Axe].

.

The axe itself looked like a normal yellow and black firemen's axe. But the axe head was replaced with a large bardiche head. On the side of the head, numerous tally marks littered its side. The two were surprised at me pulling something like this out, but they didn't ask where I was keeping it.

After confirming that I wasn't responsible, they left me alone. I returned to my dorm and started to clean up a bit. The bottles went back into my [Pip-boy] in case I needed them while the Fancy-lad snack cake wrappers went into the trash bin. The box went into the [Pip-boy] under burnables. Once I was done cleaning the dorm, I sat on my bed and started to think about who else could be roaming this world.

If the super mutants, a Legon spy, and I were here, did that mean my family could be here too?
