Chapter 7

It was morning , when the rays of the sun began to caress Inoue's face . She slowly opened her eyes, while yawning she said to herself " I think last night I fell asleep in the middle of work . " Let's see how much I have completed?" Inoue murmured, she checked her notebook " Wait am I dreaming I finished writing the whole story . I really didn't know that I had such a great ability to write stories!". Inoue jumped with joy. All of a sudden the blanket draped over Inoue fell down because of her high bounce. She was astonished to see it there because as far as she remembered she had not used any blanket similar to it at night. As she bent down to pick it up, she remembered, she had not prepared breakfast yet. Inoue brushed her teeth and refreshed herself . She went inside the kitchen rubbing her eyes and she got another surprise the breakfast and lunch both were ready on the table. She felt like her parents would have returned, and that her mom must have done all this. Inoue ran to check her parents room but unfortunately no one was there, when she came to know the truth, her face turned withered. She went back to the kitchen and found a letter lying next to her lunch box saying "You are not alone ". Inoue was in shock she murmured to herself "Who could have done this ?" . She took a piece of omelet served for breakfast and swallowed it . She felt as if she had reached the seventh sky. The crunchiness of the omelet, the perfectly cooked rice and the mouth-watering delicious miso soup really made her day. Then she looked at the clock, and realized time's fleeting away. She got up, combed her messy hair, put on her uniform and got ready for school

At school

Inoue was sitting on her chair looking outside the window, wondering about the things that had happened to her in the morning. Suddenly someone's hand came flying hitting her head from behind..."Inoue, again wandering on your own world, come out..."It was Sato , she really shouted out loud. "Oo..Sato it hurts " Inoue said placing her hands over her ears. "Okay, Sorry by the way did you use that , I mean what I suggested to you last night ? " asked Sato "Mm...just wait " Inoue replied " what ? Why ?" Sato asked "Wait till everyone is here " Inoue answered "Ah ! Inoue that's not fair " Sato groaned with dissatisfaction .  After awhile Takemichi and Hina entered the class "Sato did you step on the tail of some dog on your way because of what it bite you in anger ?" Takemichi questioned "why are you asking me such a stupid question?" Sato asked back "No, your face looks just like a balloon today, it seems as if someone has beaten or scolded you hard !" Takemichi replied. Sato gave an evil smile and stepped on Takemichi's feet " I guess now your words turned true " said Sato .Takemichi screamed with pain "Aaaa, sorry I won't say that again" "No really Sato what's the matter ? " Hina made a query " No, it's nothing serious it's just Inoue didn't tell me about the story I helped her to write for the play , she said she will tell about it in front of you all. And asked me to wait, you tell me Hina am i not one of her best friends she should not have done this right ?" In the midst of their conversation, Sato started crying. Hina understood she was being over dramatic again she quietly left without saying anything . She went straight to Inoue and greeted her " Hey, Inoue Good morning" "Oh ! Hina good morning to you too " Inoue replied . A conversation went between Hina and Inoue  "So , did you finish writing the story ?" "Yeah , I think so " "great ! let's wait for Minamoto to come " "Yes" "What's the matter why they are fighting like cats and dogs " Minamoto came out of the blue and commented pointing Sato and Takemichi "Oh ! Akihiko " Inoue sighed "Speak of the devil..." Hina taunted and said "what ?" Minamoto couldn't hear her "No, its nothing Inoue I guess you can tell us now " said Hina " Yes you are right  " Inoue replied "Sato, Takemichi come everyone's here " Inoue called both of them. "So here it is, ta-da " Inoue took out her notebook , opened the first page and showed them to all "Inoue don't get me wrong but the truth is . I can only see crayon figures drawn by some kindergarten kids" Hina stated "No, Ichika they aren't that bad " Minamoto said in a shivering voice  "Inoue you know I like them, don't listen to anyone else" Takemichi's tongue also shivered with fear "Ah Inoue what have you made ? I gave you such a nice suggestion and you messed everything up ! " Sato professed her feelings clearly without any hesitation which annoyed Inoue even more and she bawled out in anger " Shut up ! Just shut up , all of you. I am not asking you to judge my drawings . Why don't you look beyond this? I have written this story after so many hardships. Just look through all the pages once again and you will understand everything about the it " "Ah sorry Inoue, we didn't see it that way " All of them started to understand the theme by looking at the drawings again.

"This play is about a little girl named Marie, who lived in the mountains with her sweet grandmother Cheryl. Their house was made up of wood straws and mud . Marie loved to play with cute birds, and harmless animals living near by . She was the kindest girl ever . Once a rainy day she was walking alone somewhere in the forest, she found a little sparrow lying under a big banyan tree covered in blood. Marie went near and picked it up in her hands, she was trembling . Marie could no longer see her pain . She turned back and ran as fast as she could to reach her grandma. Suddenly the lighting struck a huge tree, it broke and fell down on Marie's way . It was stopping her from going any further. She was scared . Marie was unable to find any other way out, so she turned again and ran aimlessly . Dark clouds have covered the entire sky .  It was just dark everywhere, she was all alone in the dense forest . On the way she saw a big hole under a huge dead tree . She decided to take shelter under it until the rain stops . "You will be fine don't lose hope so easily grandma will find us, we both will be alright, okay " little Marie was trying to console herself and the sparrow, she was trying her best to suppress her tears but she couldn't she really cried out loud . Just like a bolt from the blue a white rabbit popped up in front of her . There was a unique red stone in the centre of his forehead. He was really alluring . The moment Marie tried to touch him, he hopped and started running. "Stop, bunny it's raining outside, it's dark all the way, stay here with me or else the wild animals will attack you" Marie chased him holding the little sparrow in her arms, she kept calling him from behind but he didn't stop . At last he went inside a huge cave and sat . Marie was stunned to see such a deep cave there still she went after him . She kept staring at the bunny for about an hour out of the blue she heard the screams of some wild creatures . She started crying and trembling with fear. She fainted due to intense pressure but after a long hour's of sleep in the middle of the night she slowly tried to open her eyes. She saw the bunny standing on it's own two feet striving against some dreadful wolves to protect her and the sparrow . He was covered with blood and bruises. Little Marie was unable to do anything , tears were falling down from her chicks . In the blink of an eye one of those wild wolves leapt on him and attempted to attack. Marie's leg started acting on its own, she jumped between them to save the bunny . The Wolf's sharp and pointed nails lacerated her back, the blood didn't stop. That rabbit was in a real shock. The stone that was in the center of his forehead started glistening as their lips met each other accidentally. After saving the rabbit Marie lost her consciousness . The bunny transformed in into a huge terrifying creature . Seeing his new-look the wolves skedaddled away in fear. After some hours dawn arrived Marie was still unconscious, the sparrow was lying on the ground motionlessly . "Why am I feeling so heavy, where are my furs, my hands why they are so big wait it's not me, I need to see myself first...I have to find water, yes water ! " The Bunny turned into a human kid . He was staggered of losing his soft white silky furs so he went near a river's side to see himself. The bunny sprang away from the river in fright "No it's not me, how can I become a human child, why did it turned out this way." Meanwhile someone said coming from behind "So, i guess now I can say we both are same but there is one difference that you are the prince and I'm just a mere soldier's son." The bunny turned and found one of his closest friends "Luka ! How did I turned like this ? why am I looking like you ? How can I transformed into a human ?" Asked the Bunny Prince "Anwyll 'O ! Sorry prince Anwyll, now you have become a human, it's all because of that kiss ' remember the moment that girl was trying to save you 'your lips met hers' , prince we are magical creatures, it is being written in our destiny , we can't change it . If we kiss a human being will become one of them but don't worry you won't lose your powers " "Yeah that girl she saved me, she injured herself to save me, I need to cure her but wait.....why didn't you tell me this before?" Prince Anwyll made a query "It's your father's request , he wanted you to find out about it by yourself" Luka replied . The prince didn't answer back he just moved forward to save Marie . Meanwhile Luka said stopping him "Just cure her, and promise yourself not to meet her again in your life, because if you do so you will hurt her even more, you remember what happened last night, right ? A tear rolled down from the prince's eyes, he didn't utter a single word just nodded his head . He went close to Marie and the sparrow the red stone in the middle of his head again began to shine, he laid his hands on Marie and the sparrow's wounds . He healed them and left without saying goodbye. After a while Marie heard the chirping of a bird near her, she opened her eyes and saw the little sparrow standing in front of her . It's wounds were healed and it seemed totally fine . Mary was amazed, she realized her wounds were also restored . She saw blood splatters all around her, everything was alright instead of the bunny, he wasn't there . Little Marie cried a lot she blamed herself for everything, she thought something might have happened to that bunny because of her. But still she was not ready to believe that the bunny was dead . Marie picked up the sparrow in her hands and set it free. The sparrow flew away. Marie wiped her tears and set out in search of her home . On her way she met grandma Cheryl . Who was casting around for her the entire night . After that day Marie turned into the quietest girl in the world, she stopped enjoying her life and became a living doll. Her grandma was always worried about her and the day came when she took her last breath. Marie was all by herself now . She lost her self, her eyes also turned dark . And one winter night she went to the forest to get some wood. It was the coldest night of the year, but it did not have any effect on Marie. She just kept moving forward .At last her leg freeze, she fell down and her whole body collapsed. The next morning she found herself lying in her own bed. She smelled something nice she got up quickly and reached her own kitchen while chasing the sweet fragrance. She saw a guy standing in front of her putting some batter inside the molds probably to make a pie, Marie was amazed "Oh ! You woke up , I think you slept well last night" said the guy " who are you ? What are you doing in my house " Marie questioned "Want to know ? The guy walked closer to Marie giving a gentle smile " Now you don't have to wait anymore " said the guy raising the hair bangs above his forehead. Marie's eyes widened the moment she saw that guy's forehead, she saw the same red stone as that bunny she met, when she was a kid . "You..."Marie's voice quavered "Yes, I'm that bunny whom you gave a new life, I'm your bunny prince 'Prince Anwyll'. Back then I left you alone because I was being told If i stay close to you evil energies will come chasing me and they might try to harm you, but now I understood the fact if we stay apart I will hurt you even more " Marie kept listening to him quietly "You turned into a living doll, after your grandma's death you lost yourself. All this time I was near you , I was watching you secretly and never tried to help you out whenever you needed me the most.  But yesternight when I saw you lying on the ground helplessly in the forest , I couldn't control myself my body acted on It's own and I held you in my arms " Anwyll face was all red two streams came flowing down her cheeks "You are alive, how could you become a human ? Why ?" Marie asked . Prince Anwyll explained everything to her briefly .Marie couldn't control her emotions anymore when she got to know the entire truth, she broke down in tears she just squeezed him under her arms. She cried, cried and cried "Marie I'm sorry I will never leave you alone again, never...." The prince promised Marie . Later they started living together and built their own happy world"

"So, this was the story of the Magical bunny prince and his beloved, thanks Sato for your kind suggestion because of you, I was able to write it and yeah I've also modified it a bit like you said, So, how's it?" Inoue asked after telling the story but no one replied her back. Everyone's mouth agaped, they all were flabbergasted "Guys?" Inoue was in a great dilemma , she didn't understand the matter and then like a bolt from the blue "It's awesome , you are really incredible Inoue " Sato and Takemichi together shouted out of excitement "Inoue just look around  ?" Said Hina . Every  single student in her class including her homeroom teacher Miss, Lisa . They were all standing with tears in their eyes. Inoue really felt overwhelmed. "Miss, Inoue you really did a great job , I guess this year our class is going to hold the best play's award " Miss, Lisa said clapping. After her everyone clapped for Inoue. "Thank you , thank you so much " Inoue expressed her gratitude , she was really touched . Minamoto didn't profess his actual feelings he left the class hiding her emotions, he thought that the story was about him. Inoue noticed him leaving . She made an excuse and went out. So what's your opinion? Do you like the story?" Inoue asked Minamoto coming from behind "Hmm..." Minamoto replied "Only 'hmm'." Inoue questioned again "Ichika, how do you know they'll be together forever? How?" Minamoto asked back. "Akihiko..." Inoue's heart was beating faster but she could not understand her feelings.....She just kept staring Minamoto.
