Chapter 26

They all entered the portal without knowing what kind of world lies behind it. 

"The chirping of birds is really relaxing. It's like some melodious song is playing nearby. it feels so soothing to hear the rippling sound of a flowing river. And this breeze passing by caressing my face makes me feel like someone closer to me is touching my skin." As Inoue slowly opened her eyes she found herself lying on the ground in the middle of a forest with the rest of her friends. The color of the sky was yellow, the clouds were pink. The whole environment was very different from the Earth. Meanwhile, "Good morning!!" said a manly voice from behind her. She looked back and saw a young man standing near a pine tree. He looked the same as Mr. Takahashi, but his appearance was very different. His two bunny ears seemed a little too small in comparison to his body. But he was also a bit charming. "Who are you? And where is Mr. Takahashi. Why isn't he with us?" she asked in surprise. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't recognize me. Anyway Hello ! I'm Haruto 002 Welcome to Bunny Land, Ichika-chan" He introduced himself, welcoming her warmly. "Hey, wait? What...?" She cried out in shock. Her voice was so loud that it brought her unconscious friends back from their dream world. That means she woke them up.

"Ah! What happened, the world ended? Or did some alien attack us?" Takemichi panicked. "That means you..you're Mr. Takahashi?" "Of course it's me. But only you failed to recognize me." Inoue was still in a great shock because he looked so different from his perfect human form." Did you drink one of your weird potions? Is it possible to look 10 years younger than your actual age?" Sato said with a no emotion look. "I don't need any potion to look young and adorable. Just my shoulders have shrunk. Actually it's my true form. Until we get Min...I mean Prince Akihiko back to us safely,  by the time you've got to get used to seeing me this way. "He was furious." No, teacher, in my opinion you actually look better this way. It looks like we're all of the same age ." Inoue tried to change that serious atmospheric pressure.

"Okay if that's what you're saying." Like the chameleon changes its colour his mood changed faster than it . He blushed while answering her. "Now let's go inside the town". " Mr, Takahashi where are we going?" Takemichi asked. "Hmm. We're going to the house of the person who made all those potions I gave you all to drink. And yes this is the last time you addressed me by that name. From now on call me Mr. Haruto. You get it, don't you?" "Yes" everyone answered together.

They first entered the city and then the market. While passing through different shops, they came across many unique things. "Hey, wait, I smelled Takoyaki in that shop," Sato said, stopping all of  them. "Takoyaki?" Mr. Takahashi or Haruto was astonished to hear this. She went to that shop and asked the shopkeeper "I want one" without confirming whether it was Takoyaki or not, she brought two boxes using Haruto's 12 gracies. (Bunny Land's currency).  She happily took a bite of it, and the happiness that had been developing in her a while back vanished in a jiffy. "  We are born rabbits. We don't eat other animals. These are fried cabbage balls. Half the population of the land is crazy about the taste of it."  "Then why didn't you tell me about it earlier. I wouldn't have bought it. I hate green vegetables" she made a strange face. "You went ahead without asking him anything. How could he tell you about it?" Takemichi said,  streching her cheeks and teasing her. "You jerk die !!!" While screaming  she kicked him so hard that he fainted. Mr. Takahashi carried him on his shoulders and then they all continued on. Inoue was already thrilled to be in a different and unique world and on top of it when she saw the cute big houses that looked like carrots. It really touched her heart. "They should have named it carrot Land instead of Bunny Land. Here i can only see carrots and carrots.   Everywhere is only carrots." Hina murmured. "Ah, it really is carrot land." When Mr. Takahashi heard her grumble, he responded by turning back. " What? Seriously?" They got a new blow. "Yeah, it's true that it's a small world compared to yours. Yet we have 7 cities and each city has at least 5 villages, but we have only one dynasty, we don't have to choose anyone to decide who will take over the power going forward. As I told you earlier the Tsuku dynasty is the only imperial dynasty whose heirs rule our world because it is the smallest world in the whole universe." He explained everything to them along the way.  They stopped near a giant carrot house. Mr. Takahashi retraced his steps, woke Takemichi and let him go first and asked him to knock on the door. There was  silence but it was only for a few moments. Then with a sudden noise the door opened and suddenly a broom tied to a bucket came flying and hit his face. Conclusion He again lost his senses. "Haruto I'll kill you" Then out of the blue came a little red haired lady with pretty side bangs. She was really scary. "Oh hey swe...eetie" Mr. Takahashi replied, peeping behind Inoue "Haruto...". She was really mad at him but when she stepped over Takemichi, who was unconscious on the ground, she realized she had to make up for her mistake.  She looked down and got scared because she had hurt another boy instead of Mr.Takahashi. "  Didn't I hurt Haruto but this boy?" she asked, looking at Inoue and the other girls worriedly , to which they answered with a nod. "I'm sorry..." she cried out loud and meanwhile couldn't take her eyes off Mr.Takahashi because of her anger. "First help us lift him up and then make a proper apology to him," he said. "Yeah..." Her voice trembled. And they took him in.

A few moments later

"Hey, why am I feeling something soft and fluffy. Maybe I'm sleeping with some great quality pillows." Takemichi was talking to himself in his dream, as he slowly opened his eyes. And found sato. He actually felt that some big soft pillow was lying in place of Sato's lap. Ever since he lost his senses, he was sleeping in her lap. His face turned red and after a short pause he screamed in embarrassment. "What were you doing? I mean why was I sleeping there...?" "Why? Didn't you feel good hugging my thighs? You looked really happy." "What? You're lying. I would never dare to say anything like that in my entire life . It's a lie, yes, it's a lie." He went really mad. "Do you think my lap is full of thorns or what?" Sato was about to kick him in a fit of rage, but Inoue stopped her. Because of what, he was saved from fainting again. "Thank you inoue, you're my lifesaver. Well can you tell me what really happened to me when I was unconscious. And why I was sleeping there" Takemichi was in great confusion, so he asked several questions at once nervously . "It's a long story. I'll tell you some other day when I have time." "Hey, Inoue please...aa" He was requesting her to tell him everything, meanwhile he was even more frightened to see Mr. Takahashi hanging upside down, with both his arms and legs tied .So, he was astounded.  "Yo! boy how's your head now?" "What are you doing there?" "It's his punishment for tricking me," said a red-haired girl coming from behind. They  all seemed normal instead of Takemichi "Did he cheat on you. Wait, who are you by the way?" he asked in bewilderment.

With a little sigh the lady replied"Okay let me introduce myself to you all again. Hello I'm Melissa, Melissa 101. 101 is our family code, sorry for the hassle. I really had no intention of hurting you, it was all a misunderstanding created by this jerk and nothing else." "You both seem very close". Inoue beamed, "Not at all." they both replied at the same time "Not really, but please consider it as your own home, until you save the prince and take him back to your world" she replied rudely. Inoue didn't say much, just nodded. "Anyway I'm going out for some dry wood, please don't make a mess of our house in my absence. My elder sister will be on the way if she comes just introduce yourself as my guests. And yes, don't talk about anything related to the human world, that's all." After completing  her statement  she started walking towards the door."Hey, get me down before you go. You know all these children can't break your spell that you put on these ropes", He pleaded. "Stay like this till I come back or else I'll tell her everything." Anger was clearly visible in her eyes. It was as if she was burning with wrath. She left without saying anything and closed the door with noise. "Hey, why is she so upset?" Takemichi queried. "Because she knows you're human. And I can't deny the fact that she helped me get all those potions for you all" Mr. Takahashi sighed. He felt deeply anxious and sad inside. "Why did she care to help us if she knew we were human?" Sato questioned next. "She doesn't really hate humans but she loves her sister the most in the world. For whom human beings are murderers...." Before he could even finish his words, he saw someone entering the house and he felt someone's presence. So, he immediately stopped speaking and also asked others to keep quiet. The door opened slowly and a red long haired lady entered the house. She was really beautiful. Just like an angel.

As soon as she stepped inside, everyone's eyes began to trace her from head to toe. She looked at them strangely, it looked like she was nervous. Then she looked at Mr.Takahashi, "Haruto, did Melissa do something to you again?" "Yeah, Miss, Kara please help me. She's used a binding spell on me." "Oh, that girl will never change. Wait, let me help you". She closed her eyes and uttered some magical phrases and said release. As soon as she opened her eyes, he fell down. "Come on... Miss.Kara, please be a little gentle with me." He groaned in pain. "Ah, sorry. Well these guys are your friends?" She was the exact opposite of her younger sister, Melissa. "Yeah, they're my friends from Cabbage Village. Melissa also knows them." "Oh, welcome to our little home. I'm very sorry if my little sister has caused you any trouble." Ah no, we're totally fine. Really thanks to you I feel even more energized" Takemichi actually started flirting with her and in  excitement he was about to spill the beans, but before he could say anything else Mr. Takahashi interrupted and shut his mouth. He asked her to make some delicious food for them. And took him to a corner. "Takemichi, if you really want to save Minamoto and don't want to bother us, especially Inoue... please don't tell her anything.  She doesn't know you're all human." "Okay, I'll be more careful next time," he replied shaking his head.

Kara 101 Melissa 101's older sister. They used to live in the north part of the carrot village before coming to the south part of the village. They were both orphans, their parents died in a storm and left them all alone. The main reason why Kara hates humans the most is Mr. Kai's death. She thinks that humans are responsible for the death of Mr. Takahashi's elder brother. She wanted to be with him forever. So, she was looking for a way to bring him back to bunny land again. But before she could reach him, Kabuto killed him.

After seeing the pictures of him hanging on the wall of her bed room . She went downstairs to cook dinner for Inoue and her friends with a sad smile on her face.
