Chapter 11 - Reunion #2

Captain: "What? Leader? Do you mean?"

Princess Eudora stepped in the conversation. "Yes, their Leader saved us, Captain Gerard." Then, she shouted in a feminine cute voice. "Sir Ryze! You may appear now!"

The Adventurers and Soldiers were surprised looking at their princess shouted. To what they know of, Princess Eudora is a shy and timid lady, even in royal events or parades. Why is she acting like an unreserved princess

right now?

'Boom'

A large blast sounded at the distance we're the monsters we're, then a majestic creature flew towards the sky giving the on-lookers an admiration look. Followed by two smaller sizes of it's the same species. Then the Rathians followed their trials at the back as if escorting a Majesty as well.

Then, within ten seconds, Royal Griffin arrived just a distance away from the people. The Guards and the Adventurers mechanically prepared the weapons to defend themselves from the magnificent creature.

"Guwaaaa!"

The Royal Griffin made an ear-piercing roar that signaled the land creatures to march. Everything was planned by Ryze from the beginning.

Ryze also noticed Hiro and his 'wives' but did not mind for now.

'Thud'

Then a man went down from the Royal Griffin, covered in well-trimmed wolf fur with an opening at the center to show his abs.

They haven't seen his face but the Female onlookers started to blush, some even have a nosebleed to be exact!

"What?" Hiro mumbled in a low voice. They were together since childhood and no matter what, he recognizes this man even though he got taller and muscularly lean. The atmosphere he brought feels different!

Without wasting any time, Ryze walked towards Princess Eudora and patted her head and said in a lovely voice.

"Princess, You don't need to scream. You know that I can hear you no matter how far I am."

Why didn't Sylvia act about this? The man casually patted the head of the Princess? What kind of development is this?

"Un!" Princess Eudora nodded a gave a very bright smile towards Ryze.

Then, this happens.

"How dare you touch the princess casually?!" Hiro suddenly yelled while pointing his sword towards Ryze. The reason why Hiro is acting like this because he was admired by people and even plans to propose to the Princess in the future! But instead, his sword was intercepted by Sylvia.

"Don't point your sword towards our benefactor!" Hiro's eyes widen by Sylvia's action. This made Hiro stunned, he was stopped by talking to the Princess casually but this man touched her head like nothing?

"Enough, Sylvia," Ryze said while grabbing Sylvia's hand and lowered it, and again, the on-lookers were shocked to see the cold and calm Knight easily listened to the man.

While this was occurring, Ryze lowered his leather cap that covered his face and revealed who he was. He then looked at Hiro and said.

"It's been a long time Hiro."

These were full of shocking events, even the soldiers and adventurers that knew Edward can't process their mind right now. He looks the same but different!

Without even glancing at the girls behind Hiro, Ryze also greeted the Captain.

Captain Gerard did not mind his position in front of others and gave Ryze a manly hug. Yes, manly, no homo.

Captain Gerard was the one training Edward in the past. Captain, Gerard also acted as a father to Edward, that is why Edward is well known as well.

"I thought we lost you, boy!" Captain Gerard patted his back with a little tear in his eyes.

"Haha, stop hugging me old man. it's embarrassing."

"You changed a lot. I didn't even recognize you at first."

"Yeah, I did a train and tame session this last few months."

They talked for a few minutes while the other soldiers were talking to themselves, some returned to their usual business while others greeted Edward.

Damn, I did not expect that many people know this person, it's like they're welcoming a Royalty... Well, Eudora is with me. It still counts as royalty right? I wonder where the king is...

"Princess, is it okay to ask where your father is?"

Eudora made a depressed face and answered me.

"Father can't walk anymore. That is why he's not here to welcome me." I can see the sadness and pain she's feeling right now. I caressed her head.

"Sorry for asking you. I didn't know." I apologized.

"It's okay... By the way, they are still staring at you." While facing me, Eudora signaled me with a glance towards Hiro's location. I sighed and excuse my self. I walked towards them.

"Once again, It's been a long time, Hiro, girls. Congratulations on your marriage by the way." I gave them a smile that is proving that I am happy for them and doesn't care anymore. But, this made the girls blush. I stopped then asked them.

"Is Rose okay?"

Hiro finally opened his mouth and replied.

"Edward, you changed huh. Even stronger than me... Rose is fine and waiting for you."

I nodded and respond.

"Yes, It's been difficult but 'refreshing' as well. By the way, Edward is dead, that man doesn't exist anymore. You can call me Ryze." It's like I'm telling them the truth but it's not. I know you are all shocked that the man you knew change, but I think you all are smart enough to tell that you are the reason that changed him.

Hiro wanted to ask something but the Princess suddenly grabbed my hand and said.

"Come, let's meet my Father." Talking like that Princess with a reddened face, It's like your telling them that you want me to meet your Father as and become your husband. You should have added 'to meet my father and give my reward for saving you.' Sigh... Well, it's still a good thing because they miss to understand it.

"Sorry, Eudora. Can you wait? I have to meet someone first..."

"Oh miss Rose huh? Okay, we will wait."

"Thank you for understanding." I caressed her head and also Patted Sylvia's head and saying good work and thank you. I kindly asked Sylvia to watch my creatures because some soldiers were still wary of them. Affection points started to rise again.

I excused myself, leaving Hiro and the others while mounting my Royal Griffin towards the Adventurers Guild.

"Rose! Rose! Edward is back!"
