TO GO TO ANY LENGTH FOR PROTECTING A YOUNG MORTAL'S HEART!

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

THE response of this book had been very disappointing. We are writing here, trying to give the most newest plot and idea, of course for a reason.

But no comment from readers, no review as to if it's alright, they r liking it or not, no feedback...not many votes, no GT, or anything else...what is an author suppose to think from that?

I have other projects ongoing and I could concentrate on those rather than wasting yours and mine time writing this book...so please let me know and I can take this plot down right away.

Thank you!

Lavanya presented her point very cleverly in front of the Queen got Celeste thinking and she eyed Hamza with her side eyes, mocking at his attempt to pull her out as an accused.

Brandon could not be more proud of the way his daughter had pulled the situation to be in her favor but he was bound to act against it, guilty of it.

He looked over at Hamza and the young vampire was not going to wait for his command any longer, it was clear.

But before he could open his mouth, Brandon stepped in.

"I hate to do this to you..."

Lavanya and Celeste, both looked at him, not understanding what he meant by that.

"My Queen, the red cloak of the Mortal Warrior Karnika is missing from the antique treasure...since the missing of the Princess..."

"What the...!! Who could have stolen it?"

The Queen cut in right away, not being able to believe the news that she was being graced with.

"Lavanya...either you owe it up..."

Her father queued in and she bit on her lips that she had been caught. She knew that she was going to be but had thought her father would confront her first before bringing the matter before the Queen herself.

"I was just curious...when Ambrosia got hold of it..."

"Stop defending yourself...you presented it to the Princess!"

Hamza interrupted her and she knew that she had finally lost it. After a moment of silence, she nodded to it.

"Indeed, I did it...I took it to the Princess, fooled the guards into letting me in, and wore it as I stormed toward the Princess's chamber and took it off on reaching her part of the palace, offering it to her for safe escapism from the palace and to conceal all her whereabouts in the future so that a vampire like him could never read out any destiny linked to her..."

Lavanya let it out, all of it. Celeste was wordless and remained so till the end. She had been so duped in thinking about the war that everything else had done unnoticed by her.

"My Queen, I have no words for how much mortified I m by the actions of my own daughter..."

Brandon bowed his head down in shame but Lavanya was not. She was not feeling the guilt at all.

"But I do not...Aunt dearest, my cousin had no interest whatsoever to marry that young mortal prince.

Uniting them this way forced by the contract forged, surely, Ambrosia would have escaped out of it either way but not the Prince...

I have only done what I presumed to be the right course of action, although realizing it might have made me take the wrong course of action, which of course resulted in me coming against you and your will...

You know how Ambrosia is...her wrath would have burned it all out..."

And as Lavanya continued to spit out her points, the Queen was reminded of the time when the Princess had burned one of the hands of Hamza or the close proximity to when she could have done the same again two days ago in the court.

To some extent, the raven-haired vampiress was correct in saying that her daughter's wrath could have burned them all out.

"So you go against your own Queen, your own Aunt to save a mere mortal prince?

You frivolous lass! Have you lost your reasonable head?"

Brandon scolded his only daughter. Her justification of her own unreasonable actions made him ashamed of her.

Of course, he had never really looked after her since her birth from the magic womb resulted in the demise of her mother, his partner.

And the looks of her reminded him of his wife. He always cared for her from afar instead from the close proximity and could that be why the way she had turned out to be?

"My Queen, it is the reason why I m unable to see a destiny with the Princess in it...as long as she has that red cloak of the mortal warrior Karnika, my abilities will be interrupted by its power."

Hamza provided for his inability to locate a future with the Princess in it so far.

And even though it was true, all out of a sudden, the Queen started feeling the warmth in her own hands, in her womb, the warmth of burning...she gasped out.

"Sister?"

Brandon stepped in looking concerned. Celeste rose her hand up stopping him from coming close to her.

It was the same kind of warmth when the Princess was born from her womb, which confirmed her ability to burn everything.

The same kind of warmth she felt when the Princess danced her hands in the air in the very crowd to burn Hamza's hand.

She could have stopped it by pushing Hanza out of the pedestal that night but she wanted to see it...see it with her own eyes how much her daughter was capable of.

And although disappointed that she could never have that ability, she could still feel the feeling of it when being executed by Ambrosia...

It only meant that she was here...she was still within the boundary of her own kingdom.

"She is here...I can feel it...my hands...the warmth, she is here..."

Celeste let out, absent-mindedly, raising both her hands to her face. The other three were staring at the Queen weirdly.

"Brandon send the most talented hunts team and bring me back my daughter...she is here. She has not crossed the boundary of my kingdom...bring me her before the Mortals arrive here with their Prince for the wedding!"

She ordered to the General, who nodded in agreement with her command. Hamza asked what was to be done with the accused, found guilty, raven-haired Vampiress.

"Lock her in her chamber as a house arrest Elite! "

Brandon was relieved that the Queen had not sentenced her to be stripped of her title as an Elite Vampiress of the Palace or exile her to the Winter Prison.

She stepped closer and stood in front of Lavanya.

"It is a good thing that we share a connection... don't we?

We are known to suck off blood, thus understanding the value of blood, its ties, far better than any being on this earth.

But I give you my words, silly girl, right before your eyes, I would get that young mortal prince be married to my own daughter, even if it results in his heartbreak...a little cost to be paid in the name of the coming war...

Only worthless attempts of it all would be yours, doing everything to protect a mere mortal's heart...and failing so terribly at it."

The Queen was fuming by the time. As she dismissed all for their duty, she snapped back in the end.

"Lock up this brat until the wedding and bring me back my daughter!"
