"Tell me did my mother send you?"
There was a bit of silence at that very moment. His mind was already in too much trouble, with the tip of the sword against his neck but then it hit him...
And it did hit him only then and there...
"Are you the Princess? "
Ambrosia only pierced the tip of her sword more against his skin and he hissed out.
But it was enough to confirm his doubts. He looked down at her feet and he could see that they were not touching the ground. She was levitating in the air just like the last time when they had their first encounter.
Ambrosia followed his gaze and it drew upon her as if he was analyzing her stature. To her, he was no ordinary man. She had to be heedful of him and every action.
Neither could she use her weapons to kill him because that would become an easy bait for Hamza to trace her whereabouts right away.
She backed out and it made Ruqui, although stilled in his movement, shocked.
A line of red blood erupted out from his wound where the tip of the blade was pointed.
The Princess moved backward creating enough distance between the two of them.
If she needed to get rid of this man, she had to make use of her ability, such that no traces would be left in the vicinity of the action.
Ruqui was not sure about what was going to be the next move of the powerful vampiress standing before him, her fiery eyes trained on him.

Back in the village, it was all too confirmed that the groom had escaped the wedding.
It had bought immense shame to their family of Rafael, who could not in any way justify the actions of the boy he had picked up from the wetlands.
They were to pay a fine to the estranged bride and her family, who faced a great deal of humiliation from the groom's side for the actions of the groom.
The wedding was over. All the people turned their back to return back to their small dwellings, walking out of the village square.
Although they let it go saying that Ruqui was only adopted, and shared no blood link with them, the family, but the most disturbed amongst them was Cynthira, who could not get over the fact that her brother had decided to leave them all, instead of denying to wed Ramirez.
She knew Ruqui. He was very affectionate and not very much an outspoken kind of man.
His actions, of course, bought her hurt and pain but most of it, it baffled her. The decision to leave his family behind.
He did not even once think to hint to her about it. Maybe, she could have helped him anyway?
The most caring and loving towards him were her mother and herself, others were always indifferent to him throughout the years.
So even if the village had exiled him henceforth, the two ladies, the mother, and the daughter could never, from their hearts, because to them, he was always a family.
And to talk about family, the Queen, back in the palace, in the Capitol, had no family except for her own daughter, who had decided to leave her instead to stand by her own mother in these hard times.
Celeste walked to and fro, thinking about whether or not to send out a huge search party and close the borders completely to inhibit her daughter from leaving the kingdom.
Because outside of her territory, she had no control over the Princess. Neither could she interfere in the mortal's land, or middle earth, because immortals were banned there.
She could not even make it obvious to the people by sending out a huge army or closing the border altogether that the rumors that had recently erupted everywhere that the Princess had escaped and confirmed it.
"My Queen..."
She looked up to see Hamza standing before her. Celeste was caught off guard, she was not expecting anyone in that period.
"I apologize for my intrusion..."
"Leave it be...did you see anything, related to Ambrosia?"
The Queen asked hopefully. At that moment, only he was her hope. He could see the near future.
"I apologize, my Queen..my abilities seemed to be interrupted by something out there from seeing a future that has the Princess interlinked to it..."
Hamza looked down. Since the two days, ever since the news of the Princess's escapism was bought to the presence of the Queen, she had asked for Hamza right away to see a destiny with the Princess in it and all the time, he had been unable to do it.
"But my Queen, I had found the person who had spread the rumor...you were right to say it had to be someone from the palace!"
Celeste was taken aback on finding her niece being presented before her. But soon composed herself.
"My Queen!"
Lavanya bowed her head before the Queen, her aunt in relation.
"First my own daughter and now my niece...at this point, I'm more concerned about who would be the next I shall fear betrayal from than the coming war of the enemies!"
The Queen let out and through the entrance, came rushing the General, her brother, and the accused Vampiress's father.
She could see the worry in his eyes and the love for his only daughter, making him sketchy in his own judgment and from his duty.
"Father..."
Lavanya looked down ashamed. Brandon parted his eyes off from her and peeked at the Queen.
"I'm not here to take her side or ask for your forgiveness, neither to compensate the degree of her punishment, my Queen...I'm here to only see what happens to those who conspire behind their own Monarch..."
He let out. Celeste knew that he would not stop her if she were to punish the young foolish vampiress but the impending matters seemed more worthy of her time than juggling in such a silly one.
"Is there anything else I must know about beforehand, Lavanya that you wish to come clean of before I give out my statement?"
Celeste questioned the young vampiress. She was much younger than Ambrosia.
Even though fit a moment, the raven-haired vampiress remained silent, she spoke out next.
"My Queen, I'm regretful of my actions for sure...but it was to be known by the people either way...in the ceremony of 'Au Revoir', the absence of the Princess would have been known to all..."
Lavanya knew that she was found guilty, although not expecting it of, but she needed to make use of her wits to get out of that situation.
She used the ceremony of 'Au Revoir', which was a tradition invented by the Vampires to bid farewell to the community from where the Bride would be marrying off to another community.
"...in a matter of fact, now that I had been caught to be the whisperer of the rumor, the news of the Princess's escapism would remain a rumor, disregarding the trust of a valid information, when in reality it is...so in a twisted and distorted way, I have only worked for your favor, my Queen...I can never dream of betraying you ever..."
