I was told to go out of the testing room and to wait for future announcements in regards to my exam. Although the part where I should be nervous hasn't ended yet, I'm already certain that I'll get in front regardless.

There are only two successful tries among the entire school for this testing session, and I was one of them.

But as much as my name has come out, the fact that I didn't show much future potential is still a matter at hand. As of now, I'm just a kid who practices a lot and has some great battle techniques. In a real fight where his strength wasn't suppressed, and if he was just careful and not arrogant, I would've lost in more ways than one already.

Still, interest is bound to be piqued.

"There's about five." As I walked through the hallways, I overheard multiple students talking about five people whose names have been going around the academy.

"It seems like the Lux siblings brought incredible people to Front this time around. I'm sure that strong bunch wants to test who among them is the best."

As rumors spread out about these six individuals, I couldn't help but feel nervous about it all.

"Julius, was it? I heard he beat up one of the Bons in that duel, where his opponent is a whole level higher than him. Do the Bons just hire everyone these days?"

But such rumors also comfort me.

It didn't take long, but. I finally reached the entrance from where I came earlier. I was told by the man in the speaker to go back here, and the staff will escort me to my destination."

Mr. Julius? "The same lady who escorted me here earlier called out for me as she waved her hands in my direction.

" Julius? Did you hear that? Is that? "It seems like my name had reached quite a lot of ears as the moment she called out for me, almost everyone around her shifted their attention towards me as if I just used my ability.

"He's good-looking, but I don't seem to see anything special in him."

"Do you think he got lucky?"

"Nah, luck won't win you a fight against someone who's experienced; he's hiding something. I just know it."

"It seems like you've made quite a name for yourself, sir, "the lady says politely.

I didn't bother replying, and I just smiled at her remarks. Many eyes were on me, and first impressions are important. Although it might sound over the top, I need to not look friendly. Connections are one of the weapons I intend on using. Getting swarmed by too many people trying to form relationships through influence is a burden for my growth. I won't have any alone time, and I won't be able to move freely. Regardless, these good thoughts about me will soon vanish. I just know it.

"You can just wait around here, and when they announce your examinee ID, which is 7915, you should come up towards the registration, and they will tell you your results. "the lady says, before going back to the examination area.

Though I was early, as it was only about 15 minutes ago before they started the entrance examination, the number of people around is quite large already. It's still increasing at the moment, so who knows how crowded this area will be when most of the applicants are here?

I'm sure there won't be too much of a difference, though, as the lobby is quite big in itself. Besides, there should be more than one place other than the lobby where the students could hang around.

This is just one of the many areas, but it's as big as a mall already. It still has the same white and gold accents, so it's amazing to look at. Though there aren't any TVs or anything like that, There's still a lot of holograms, as the technology from this world was influenced by the presence of the supernatural.

You can see the live feed of people who're taking the exams, from failures to success, and even the past announcements that echoed throughout the place already. More so, the special ones, including me.

But what caught my attention the most was the live ranking of the students.

I remember adding this to the story to show the domineering influence of the other main characters. And now that I'm looking at them, it seems like it's quite effective.

Though their faces aren't shown, the names written on the list are something I won't forget. As they are characters, I wrote them myself.

[ Rank 1: Rina Lux , Culminative Points: 19937 ]

[ Rank 2: Dante Lux , Culminative Points: 19885 ]

[ Rank 3: Leon Rondell , Culminative Points: 19722 ]

[Rank 4: Kath Jules, Culminative Points: 19567]

Culminative points were an average of some achievements or feats that an examiner did during the exam. I'm not sure what the actual grading process is, but they're subjected to multiple tests and observations by the heads of the school, if necessary.

The characters I sketched had really come to life. It's a beautiful yet scary thought. Who knew I was making up the life of a living person with just my hands?

Regardless, now that I'm here, it seems like I need to catch up.

[Rank 28: Julius Solomon, Culminative Points: 17989]

It's higher than I thought.

I guess the improved grappling techniques caught their attention. It's the only reason it's this high, after all.

Though I was already proud of that rank, it seems like the other examiners are shocked by it. After all, only six people were announced throughout the whole school, and I was one of them. The other five were all ranked one all the way to five, yet there I was at 28.

The reason my name was announced is because I won a stupidly hard challenge. Which was done by exploiting the fact that there's some temporary staff. I'm sure they've fixed that small exploit, but they still most likely wouldn't think I was that good.

My popularity and some small details during that fight somehow made me rank 28 among the hundreds of thousands of students in this academy. So I'm more than satisfied with my ranking. It's still incredibly high enough that not too many students will annoy me.

I'm sure I can't even touch the hairs of the actual staff in this academy.

I can already see the yearning of the other students as they look at my name. What if I beat that guy? I might make quite a name for myself. Did he buy himself in?

It doesn't matter to me, though, as the first step is nearly done.

The hologram on one of the registrars was finally branding my number.

I didn't rush, as I knew the results already.

I handled all the necessary details, and they've explained my situation.

I was given another ID, but it was for Front this time around. I was also given a dorm room, as I clearly had no home. It's mainly used by students from other cities or those who are from the academy, as it's not every day that someone of my background would successfully enroll in Front, and that loudly as an added bonus.

It's almostdone.…

Though I've successfully enrolled, there's one thing that I still need to handle.

The catalyst of every single thing in the story.

...

I took a small peak at the ranking again, but it's still the same as before. It's perfect...

It seems like I'm not late yet.

There's one individual who still isn't in the ranking yet. An individual that is yet so important that it could flip the entire story of this world depending on his actions. A person who holds the world's fate.

Although he wasn't an applicant, he managed to enter the school because of his strength.

"Someone's fighting there. It's between a guard of the Jules and the young master of the Bons. "

"Are you serious? Inside the academy? What the... do they have a death wish? "

"Yeah, I'm serious. The mercenary from Jules is about our age too. "

It seems like it started.

As I exited the lobby, a huge crowd had gathered between two individuals.

A brown-haired dude who was wearing extravagant clothing points at someone in anger. And the one who's receiving his anger, about the same age as us as well, who had messy hair as white as snow. Scarlet eyes that glints the shine of blood. And a glare that was as intense as his looks.

It's him…

The fierce protagonist.

The only other Earthling in this world besides me.
