Shadow pack 1

"Get out." he said turning his back to her.

"What?" Yes, she was in a hurry, but when he says it that way... it was quite cold.

"I don't like to repeat myself. Get your stuff and leave." he made his way to the bathroom that was in his office on the left.

Brody made his way to the bathroom to wash up.

'Adrain better be back from that wretched place.' he thought.

'Brody!'

'Fuck! Why did you have to do that? You're too loud.'

'I'm not sorry. Leave now. You're going to the shadow pack. You are to go alone or only with your beta and gamma. Be there by 8pm.' his father said in his head

'And why would I do that?'

'If I tell you, then things wouldn't go as planned. I'm not joking this time.'

'Of course, you're not. You told me to travel to the blue moon pack the last time saying it was an emergency. I got there, and you told me to take a break and see it as a vacation.'

'At least I was helping you. You could have died of stress.'

'Whatever. So what are we going there for?'

'Battle.'

'I'm sorry, what?'

'You are going there to fight. The village will be attacked, so you have to save some people. I swear on the skies, you really need to fight this one.'

'Why do I have to do it? It's not my pack.'

'It is. You are the supreme alpha of all the packs in this realm. So literally, it's your pack.'

'Whatever. I'm bored anyways. Something to keep the charges flowing in my body.'

'C'mon. Go get ready.'

'It's just 2pm. We still have much time.'

'Actually, you don't.'

'The shadow pack is just 3 hours drive from here.'

'You are not driving, you have to go by foot or in your wolf form.'

'Why?'

'Listen to me and stop questioning.'

'So, if we go on foot, it would take us about 4-5 hours, considering the fact that we'll have to head to the pack house first and we will need to take breaks. So we should get there by... 8:30pm. I gotta go.'

He took his stuff immediately and walked out of the office. He mind-linked his Beta to get the car ready.

'But, there's still one more meeting in 30 minutes.'

'Cancel it. We are leaving for the pack house now.'

With steady steps, he walked towards the exotic car that was parked in the underground garage of the building.

"Brody, what's going on?" Kyle asked as he drove on the highway. He usually refers the Alpha without title whenever they were alone. They are best friends. Formality wasn't needed in private.

"We are going to battle. There's going to be an attack on the Shadow pack and I have to be there in person."

"Did he ask you for help? I mean Alpha Eli."

"He doesn't even know about it."

"Oh. Your instincts again." Werewolves had good instincts. Some people call it their wolves which warn them when an attack is close by. But Brody's instinct was on another level. A normal instinct is a warning for something that will happen in the next few seconds. Brody's instinct is for longer, hours, or even days. But it's not consistent. He doesn't usually get the warning all the time. The same to other wolves too. Not everytime is a warning given. Only the people close to him knew it. But what they didn't know was that, it was not his wolf, but his father, Zeus.

[ Yes, Zeus Zeus. The god of Thunder. That's another story for another time.]

Although, everyone knew he was the son of Zeus and he had inherited his abilities, they didn't know that Zeus helps and guides him.

*Back to the present*

"How many warriors are going with us. The distance is quite far. So we have to be well prepared."

"I'm going with you and Adrian. No warriors, just the three of us. We aren't moving with cars. We must be there before 8pm."

"What? No warriors? No cars? Before 8pm? Why?"

"I don't know either." he mumbled under his breath looking outside the window.

The rest of the drive took about an hour. The company was in the human realm which was about 45 minutes drive from the portal. On getting to the pack house, Kyle ran out of the car and came back with changed clothes and his sword. Adrian was closely following behind him, ready too. Kyle handed Brody's sword to him too. Brody didn't need change of clothes. He could fight in any outfit, even pyjamas.

"No warriors? No cars? Before eight?" Adrian said with wide eyes after Brody had explained to him.

"You heard it correct Adrian. Now let's go."

"Just like that? I've not even had lunch yet."

"I met you eating now Adrian."

"I didn't get to finish it."

"No time to waste. We move now." he said as he crossed the strap of his sword over his shoulder and shifted into a majestic white wolf as his blue eyes shone brightly even with the sun out. Due to the magic of the witches, Wolves were able to shift without ruining their clothes. Although, their clothes might not be on their body in their wolf form, when they change back, it's usually intact. His Beta and his Gamma also shifted into their respective wolves.

'It's gonna be a marathon.' Brody mind-linked them. Afterwards, they set off in a race. They moved with very high speed. Although, Brody could move way faster than that, he decided to save his energy. After about three hours of running, a voice rang in Brody's head. 'Stop.'
