The Company's First Tackle

The building on the right side of the school is where the 1st and 2nd year students reside. This building is also called the junior building, and has its own classrooms for different subjects, cafeteria, rooms for students to stay in and other rooms for different purposes. The building on the left side of the school looks identical but has extra underground floors. This building is also called the senior building, as in this part of the school 3rd and final year students, as well as the principle and senior teachers reside. It is also to note that both buildings got its own rules and regulations, permissions, and its own student council.

Now the 4th floor of the junior building is where Layn's room is. The 4th floor is a wide corridor with rooms upon rooms in it. This floor is where the 1st year students of both the classes live. The floor is divided into two parts equally, in which class A and class B are separated. There is literally a wall in the middle of the floor. Both the classes then meet up below the 3rd floor, as the 4th and 5th floor is where 2nd year dorm is.

15 rooms are present on class A side, Layn stays alone in room no. 11 A, with Gen's on his right (room no. 13 A), Assen on Gen's right (room no. 15 A), and in front of Layn is Mallen's room (room no. 12 A). Odd no. rooms are on one side of the corridor and even no. rooms on the opposite side, face to face. Basically all 4 of them were on the corner side of the corridor.

The next morning~

"Such stunning beauty, such smooth skin, those beautiful silky blonde hair, those ruby red eyes, her double layered red skirt... how can such a brilliance exist... oh Anna."

The girl face was not clearly visible, but she starts to run towards Layn over the vast green land. Nothing to be seen afar, just grass, trees, and the two of them.

"Oh Anna are you finally going to accept me! come here, let us get embraced by the sin of lust once and forever!"

The girl gets close to Layn and hugs him tightly, both of them fall over the plain with blue sky and white clouds above them, and then the girl says-

"WAKE UP MORON!"

"wait, your not Anna? you are MALLEN!?!?!"

upon closer look the girl's face resembled that of a rough, stubborn faced man with strong eyes, after witnessing such horrific image Layn immediately wakes up-

"Oh god what the hell did I just dream about!"

"WAKE UP LAYN ITS PAST 8AM!"

Layn wakes up in his dorm's room laying on his bed while someone was thumping on the door and shouting.

"Mallen? wait, 8AM? WHAA-"

Layn quickly gets off his bed, rushes to the washroom, cleans himself and wears his student's uniform which consisted of white pants, full-sleeves shirt and a coat. His left sleeve had a yellow stripe, indicating Layn was sent into the house of gluttony.

"gluttony huh.. I expected something greater but hey, at least I'm chosen."

After getting ready under 5 minutes Layn leaves his room and meets up with Mallen.

"Oh, my bad Mallen, I always fail to wake up. By the way where are the other two?"

"Down at the cafeteria having breakfast, I have been waiting for you since 20 minutes lets get going fast"

Both Layn and Mallen took the staircase down to the 2nd floor, where many 2nd year students were moving around to their classes, gossiping with their friends and all those typical high school stuffs. But very few of the 1st year students were visible.

Out of curiosity Layn asks one of the 2nd year student who was talking to his friend,

"Uh sorry to disturb you but do you have any idea where the 1st year students are?"

The 2nd year had uniform similar to Layn but with his whole left sleeve coloured in purple. The house of sloth. 2nd year students resembled their house with the colour of their left sleeve while 1st years resembled it by the colour of the stripe on their left sleeve.

He gave a weird cautious look to Layn and responds-

"Ground floor at the cafeteria, heard there is some fight going on there"

Both Layn and Mallen stared at each other for a second and hurriedly took the stair down to the ground floor. there were not many students on the ground floor but in front of the cafeteria opening there were lots of students standing there, as if watching a drama.

Both class 1 and class 2 students were mixed in. Layn thought it is probably a ruffle between some of the students from opposite classes, and so he went inside the cafeteria, pushing aside the people at the entrance.

"Woah.. isn't the cafeteria too huge.."

but the first thing that caught his eyes was the cafeteria's size. it was around 6 times their classroom and was also fashioned with luxury. Single table for students who are alone and long tables for a group. There was no particular distinction in cafeteria for both the classes. It seemed 1st years will eat together.

"LAYN LOOK! four eyes and book worm are already into the fight!"

Mallen shouts while pointing towards a group of people standing and arguing. Layn snaps out from amazement and looks towards the direction Mallen was pointing.

"Gen and Assen? what are they doing there..?"

Layn asks himself this question but Mallen immediately took off and was shouting "Don't leave me out of the fight!", to which Layn also had to follow him now and figure out what his friends were doing.

"You don't need to raise your voice, a simple apologize would suffice."

"Apology?! What makes you think I would apologize to anyone!?"

"sniff.. sniff.."

When Layn arrived he saw Gen and Assen arguing with 3 other 1st year students who were apparently from the other class. There was also a girl on the floor weeping, she might have hurt her knee or something. She had round spectacles, around 5'7, skirt and students uniform with purple stripe on her left sleeve. On closure look she was the girl in the classroom who said she was attacked by one of the student-spirits during the ceremony.

"Hey Assen what is going on?"

Layn walks up to Assen who was consoling the girl on the floor. Gen was arguing with three class 2 students and Mallen was like always shouting at them.

"These punks pushed our classmate because she was on their way. Gen saw that and went to argue with them. oh devil, I cant understand what he is thinking picking up a fight right here"

Layn understood the situation and proceeds to pick up the girl and make her sit on a chair. her knee was bleeding and she was sobbing.

"Tch, Mallen you are from the famous family of Berithus, what are you doing medalling with these low-lifes?"

"These people are amazing! maybe if I make you swallow your teeth then you would come to understand their brilliance!"

Mallen started to get over-hyped and aggressive. He could start a fist fight at any moment, and just when Layn thought this couldn't get worse he could see Gen casting a shadow magic in his left palm.

"They are going to fight! Assen we have to do something!"

Layn was getting anxious and asked Assen to do something, but upon looking at Assen's face he was wickedly smiling while quickly swiping the pages of his gospel.

"Oh boy, not you too.."

The other students who were watching already backed away few meters, but before anything could start and girl among the crowd shouts and comes over to them.

"What is all this commotion for? Trying to sully the name of our prestigious school?!"

"Anna Valafer.. tsk"

Upon seeing the girl, the 3 punks walked away.

"You sent them off without making them apologize.. we had it under control noble girl"

"Oh no you didn't, the whole cafeteria was going to pulverize under your spells you doofus"

It was Anna. Layn's heartbeat started to increase. is this love? is Layn fallen in love with Anna?!

"oh hey Layn, long time no see. You getting accustomed to this new life?"

When Anna addressed Layn formally everyone's eyes went to Layn. Why is a noble from 2nd year greeting a nobody half blood like him. Student's whispers echoed throughout the cafeteria and even Mallen, Gen and Assen were shocked.

"Yeah I'm doing fine. Thank for taking control over the situation."

"no need to thank me. Anyway ill be going now, seeya"

"..."

Assen, Gen and Mallen starred at Layn with a sly smile on their face.

"Seems like you hooked yourself a noble huh?"

"You didnt look much of a charmer, im surprised Layn."

"Nicely done! As expected from my friend Hahaha!"

Layn started to blush and tried to explain them that its not what they think it is, just then.

"Uhm.. thank you for standing up for me.. My name is Kisa Nicon.."
