Naruto looked wearily at Samehada
Albeit thay sword just nullifies his biggest advantage, the same was not true for Kaede and Luna
Especially Kaede, who he didn't even want to think what would happen if her already waning life force and chakra got disrupted by Samehada
'Easy enough then, I'll just have to beat him before that can ever happen'
Easy for him to say, but who can confidently say they can beat a Shark?
From Kisame's left side, a few dozen Shurikens aiming at his head were blocked by Samehada making Kaede frown
From his right side though, Luna advanced against the fishman from One Piece, claws instead of fingers in her hand, ready to turn Kisame into sushi
Unfortunately, Kisame wasn't easy to deal with, even if his sword was occupied by some shurikens
Extending his arm, he grabbed Luna by the head and kicked her away as if she was nothing
Indeed, he is far taller than Luna, which makes it hard for her to fight him in taijutsu
Naruto frowned, but as soon as he was preparing to use another Jutsu, Kisame slashed at him with his sword, which he dodged by jumping back
But that was all Kisame wanted, as he saw Naruto as the most troublesome opponent, he faked an attack and immediately ran after the disoriented Luna, ready to finish her

Naruto almost stopped running, but quickly came back to his senses
Kicking Kisame away, he looked at Kaede, who was inside some sort of Susanoo made of golden chakra, with concern
"Kaede!?"
His unsaid question was obvious
Why was she using her powers when that would inevitably kill her?
"Can't let my friend's friend die now, can I?"
She said while a line of blood trickled down the sode of her mouth
Kisame didn't care about what they were talking about though, recognizing Kaede's jutsu as the same one Itachi used some times, he knew how bad his current situation was
So he decided to stop playing with those kids, Itachi gave him a task, and he would finish it quickly!
Before Naruto could point out to kaede that she was bleeding, an insane ammount of water surged from Kisame's direction
"What the-"
Naruto started to say, but was quickly forced to stop talking, to not drown in this water which he couldn't stand on for some reason
He could feel the chakra draining from his body ever so slowly just from being in contact with this water, so that must be the reason
'WAIT!!!'
Noticing what he just thought, He immediately looked at Luna and Kaede, who would be affected by this way more severely than him
He noticed, Luna was not in the water, protected by Kaede's golden susanoo, but Kaede on the other hand...
Her Susanoo is HUGE and if this water can steal chakra, with the insane area of contact of the susanoo, she must be...
*COUGH*
Kaede coughed blood
But before Naruto could even understand what that meant, he felt something approaching him at insanely fast speeds!
Now, if not many can beat a shark, how many could do it in said shark's home turf?
Naruto saw Kisame with his new appearance, having fused with the Samehada... Somehow... He was even more shark-like
Hardly being able to move underwater, Naruto was about to get hit when

Kisame was slapped away by Kaede's golden susanoo
Naruto could only look worried at Kaede
Who could have thought that he and Luna would end up as dead weights for her...
Kaede kept trying to hit Kisame who was swimming incredibly fast around her while he absorbed her chakra and Naruto's
Her susanoo soon started to loose its bright color, so Kaede decided to do something about this situation
Her eyes started to shine incredibly bright as she told Naruto
"Remember Naruto, this world belongs to those who shine brighter.
Cockroaches like Kisame and Itachi who hide themselves in the shadows will never be anything!"
While he wondered why she was saying that, he had a bad feeling in his heart
A golden shockwave dissipated the dome of water Kisame created, and made a dome of light instead
Kaede's golden susanoo grew another pain of arms and wings, as she used all her chakra
With a scream of either agony or effort, Naruto couldn't tell, she started hitting Kisame multiple times
"Useless useless useless!"
She screamed at Kisame, who was being hit multiple times per second by her
But when she was about to hit the probable last hit on Kisame, her eyes stopped glowing all together, dissipating her golden susanoo and the light dome at once
Immediately she started to fall to the ground, but Naruto caught her in mid air
Looking at her though, he winced as her face was covered in blood, leaving her eyes, mouth and nose, her eyes, having a white haze in them, most probably blind
"I'm sorry"
He said, thinking it was all his fault for underestimating Kisame
"Silly..."
Kaede managed to say
Naruto soon heard Kisame approach him
He was incredibly hurt, almost dead visibly
His entire body covered in cuts and some bones could be seen piercing his skin
He was in bad shape, but his injuries were healing at visible speeds
"Damn it!"
Naruto cursed
He could probably beat Kisame in that stage, but if he left Kaede alone, she would probably be that maniac's target, proven he already chose to target Luna before...
'wait ...

Where's Luna?'
And as soon as Naruto questioned that, as if waiting for his thoughts, Luna appeared behind Kisame, and with her claws, made sure to turn him into sushi, like promised
Her face looking like an Oni, and slowly morphing back into her normal face
With a complicated gaze, she looked at Kaede, whom she once called a 'filthy traitor'
"..."
She couldn't find words to say, so she settled for saying a simple
"Thank you..."
But she received no answer, as Kaede had passed out from blood loss
