141 -=Lee vs Neji=-

"Lee?" Neji asked completely stunned

his mind went blank as he stared at his old teammate

The reason was simple, Neji still had his Byakugan open, as he opened it by reflex when he was attacked

And what he saw... shocked him

'What is this chakra? Isn't Lee supposed to not have chakra?' He thought

If Neji heard what he was saying, he would hit himself for it

Lee had chakra, he couldn't USE it before. Albeit he now has much more chakra than he ever had this was still an exaggerated reaction

Lee on the other hand, in contrast to Neji, was completely calm.

He gave Blizzard a nod and turned to face Neji

"I have always wanted to fight you again Neji, But be warned

I won't go easy on you" Lee said with a smirk, he remembers vividly losing to Neji in every training spar they ever had

'Hard work never got me past your level, but now that I also have talent... I can prove that you are nothing without yours' Lee thought as he got into a combat instance, with one hand in front of his body, with every finger extended except the thumb and another one behind his back

Neji finally broke out of his stupor and looked at Lee angrily

"What is the meaning of this? LEE?!" He asked with a raised voice

"what? I asked you to fight me, can you really not understand something so simple?" Lee asked back, obviously intending on irritating Neji

Which worked, as Neji clenched his jaw, he stared intensely at Lee's eyes as he asked another thing

"Why are you here?" He asked also furrowing his brows

"To fight you" Lee answered, not giving any information away whatsoever

"Why did you leave the village?" Neji asked

Even when mad, he knew to bid his time, sooner or later someone would notice he was taking too long and would come looking for him

As for the questions he was making, most of them he thought on the spot and he didn't really care about their answers

"Because it was holding me back" Lee didn't tell Neji the actual truth, He had to pass by a LOT to learn it, so why give it away for free?

"Why have yo-" Neji was about to ask something more when he got interrupted by a swift quick from Lee

"-Gaak!" Neji ended up spitting saliva as he got sent flying back

"Less talking and more fighting!

Let's see if your YOUTH is still as strong as when I last saw you Neji!" Lee said reading himself for another attack

Neji was sent straight into a tree, hitting his back with a ton of force on it

Normally that would be a horrible thing, but against someone as fast as Lee, it was preferred to hit your back like this then keep flying past it

If he was still flying in the air when Lee attacked again... that wouldn't end well (Ask OG Gaara)

"Fuck... Byakugan!" Neji cursed as his plan didn't work and even backfired on him, he forgot his Byakugan was already active and tried to activate it again, looking like an idiot in the process

"You'll regret doing that..." He said in a vicious voice as he rushed toward Lee

His thinking was simple, it doesn't matter if Lee has so much chakra in his body or all his taijutsu skills

if he blocked his tenketsu the fight was won!

Seeing that stupid charge, Lee smirked again

"I always wanted to do this..." Lee said as he made hand signs at quick speeds

Neji saw this and because of his Byakugan, also saw the chakra molding in Lee's pathways and was once again surprised

Lee finished the required hand seals and immediately shouted

"Katon: Gokakyo no jutsu!" His excitement was enormous, for a chakra-less kid to be able to spew fire from his mouth... it still felt surreal for him

In contrast to Lee's excitement, Neji had a horrible expression as he was running at Lee when he spewed the fireball

'I can't dodge...' He gritted his teeth as he noticed that he wouldn't be able to dodge

But he was not helpless, as he began to spin as fast as he could releasing a lot of chakra from all of his tenketsus

"Eight trigrams: Revolving heaven!" Neji used the best defensive jutsu of the Hyuga clan to defend against a weak fireball... how wasteful

but surprisingly, Lee attacked the rasengan-like chakra dome

While this is not something one should do, unless you are a plot armor-bearer, jinchurriki, or favored by God, Lee wanted to test this so-called 'Best defensive jutsu' of the Hyuga clan

As his fist came in contact with the spiraling dome of chakra, he got immediately repelled with great force

The sound was also loud enough so that the other would definitely hear it

Again, Neji broke the 64 barrier and managed to deal 128 strikes, albeit this time he actually noticed what he did, making him smile smugly as he shouted

"128 palms!" he then finished his last 2 attacks sending Lee flying away

Neji looked at Lee flying away, smiling victoriously he thought that some things just never change

but then...

"Ahh... that's it?" Lee suddenly asked, surprising him

He quickly recomposed himself and said

"Stop pretending Lee, you can barely stand... up... WHAT?" Neji said contemptuous, but when he saw Lee just dusting his clothes like he was not even affected he was shocked

"Sincerely... I expected more from you... sigh... I guess you really amount to nothing when it's a fair fight..." As soon as Lee finished talking he flickered in front of Neji and kicked with speeds far above his previous one

Neji couldn't even widen his eyes, as he was not even able to see Lee move, proving that he was holding back a lot in the exchange before

Neji looked in front of him petrified as he noticed what just happened

"Oh? it's been some time Guy sensei" Lee said with a weird smile on his face, if he was happy or not, only he knew
