Air Spear! #Kazu

Crrr-tsss… Crrr-tsss… Huff!

Damn, crafting knives is a very painful and tedious process, I should have known better.

Crrr-tsss… Crrr-tsss… I'm cutting off my finger, so I can take the sharp and shiny tooth of the tiger with strange and colorful patterns-on-its-fur that I have killed with my bare hands.

Fuhh! Is it just me or this place is getting hotter and hotter?

Darn finger won't cooperate! Just leave my hand for a moment Bruh. Or else I won't have a new and powerful knife that can replace this dull and useless knife.

Kazu, out.

Magic! The elusive power that only those who have reached the age of 30 without losing their virginity can attain. Or so the rumors say.

But I, who have indulged in the pleasures of the flesh, have achieved the impossible! Take that, you dweebs who mocked me!!!

I grin and rub my hands together. "Let's do some actual magic", I say to myself.

I tie the severed hands of the green-scaled monkey to my own hands respectively, using some shoe laces from me. The magic stone that I took from its head is wet with its blood, one-eighth of its fraction. This is probably enough to produce the same result as the monster did when it attacked me with its air spear.

Chaotic wind envelops each of my hands, but it is not strong enough to cause any damage to me or anything around me. It feels like a gentle breeze that tickles my skin.

I carefully imitate the gesture of the asshole. I place each hand with the other and then distance them afterward, as if I am pulling something apart.

Strangely, the chaotic wind disappears when the two hands make contact. And when I distance them from each other, it forms a concentrated line of wind connecting each palm, like a thin rope made of air.

"Woah!" I exclaim in awe. "It is the air spear. Holy shit! I made it. I can't believe it. I have created a weapon out of nothing but wind."

I try to throw it the same way I remember the monster did. I flick my wrists and release the air spear towards a nearby tree.

"Wow! What power!" I shout in amazement. The air spear flies swiftly and accurately, cutting through the air with a sharp sound. It hits the tree with a loud thud and leaves a fist-sized hole in it. The tree shakes and some leaves fall down.

Truly amazing!

"This is enough for now", I decide with satisfaction. "Hahaha! Fuh! Finally, I can now use magic. Just a few modifications and this will be a great asset for me in this chaotic world."

I collect more blood using a certain organ on its body that looks like a bladder or a pouch. It seems to be able to store liquids inside it. I hope it doesn't leak or burst, or I might lose the precious liquid that fuels my magic.

In the meantime, I tie the hands and chain them around my neck like some kind of necklace or pendant. They are still warm and soft, as if they are alive. The magic stone that I extracted from it is already with its blood. It glows faintly, as if it is waiting for me to use it. I keep the magic stone in my pocket and the bag of blood on my belt. They are my treasures and tools in this world.

Before I finalize this weapon, I want that six-legged monster's magic stone that can shoot fireballs. It must be more powerful and versatile than the wind magic. It must also be more fun and satisfying to use. Just thinking about casting fireballs makes me excited, as I imagine the flames and the destruction they can cause.

Fuhhh… It is time to harvest that monster.

As I scan the forest for any signs of the six-legged monster, I hope that no other creature has found it before me and devoured it. I pick up the knives I threw along the way, when I was playing with it.

I lost seven knives in total. That's what happens when you throw a knife and forget where it lands. Sigh. I need to be more careful with my weapons. They are not easy to make.

The monster should be somewhere around here. I saw it hit in the chest by the air spear that asshole threw at it. It should have died from blood loss by now.

Did someone drag it away?

I notice a faint trail on the grass, as if something heavy was dragged along. Could it still be alive? But how?

I follow the trail with caution, keeping an eye out for any signs of danger.

The trail leads me to a clearing where I see something unexpected. A village.

What?!

To my surprise, inside the village are individuals whose appearance is similar to the one I killed earlier. They have green scales, long tails, and look like a monkey. They are not wearing any clothes and carrying some tools. They are doing things that normal villagers do.

I can't believe my eyes. This is where that asshole who attacked me with its air spear lives! These monsters are intelligent enough to build a small village, with even a wooden wall surrounding it! How long have they been hiding here?

Does that mean the six-legged beast was its pet or its companion? I wish I had killed it first if I knew that it belonged to that scum.

But it unwittingly led me to its master's home, a treasure trove of magic stones. Maybe it didn't expect its master to die, after all, he was a very careful fellow who always looked around before taking steps.

I grin wickedly as I see the opportunity before me. I will enjoy wiping out every last one of you. Monsters!

It probably didn't think that crossing me marked their doom. It probably thought that it could escape from me and return to its safe haven. But it was wrong. Very wrong.

Fuh… So many magic stones waiting for me to claim them. This is going to be a blast.
