Pieces of a puzzle

XAVIER

Xavier runs a hand through his hair. The big screen where he and Shay have been watching the events at Marcus Zephanie's announcement of his reinstatement stood frozen.

He looked at Shay and found that she was staring at him too.

"I'm dying to know what is going on out there," she stated, biting her lower lip right after.

"Me too. But we can't go there. We will have to wait. We will have to wait for Vincent to come back and tell us what happened," 

Shay Zephanie blew out a resigned sigh.

"This is so frustrating," she remarked. They were in the same boat. Xavier was way curious as to what was going on.

Right after Richard Zephanie had stepped out and the brothers appearing to somehow forget that they have an audience and a live broadcast too, the screen suddenly froze. Xavier knew that it was Vincent's doing. He had frozen the time for everyone.
