Arthur Leywin POV

"LET THE MATCH COMMENCE!"

As soon as the signal was said. Ellie send multiple of arrows made of pure mana, coated with wind and fire.

Lucas tried blocking it but he couldn't since the arrows were too fast and too many. Leaving their team on evading and parrying the attacks.

Noah, Caera, and I dashed forward, with Noah on my right and Caera on my left. Meeting our opponents who was evading Ellie's attacks.

Noah's spear and Curtis sword, immediately clashed, with Curtis riding on grawder's back. Noah have the upper hand from his experience and skill, as Curtis tried avoiding Noah's attacks but couldn't as how fast and strong it is.

Claire and Caera also met, and their weapons clashed. Seeing how Claire fight, she really had the same techniques that Kaspian use.

Looking where Ellie was, I couldn't see her from her position earlier. Looking around I saw her within a domain spell along with Lucas as they clashed. I can see both of them were enjoying their fight, and Ellie have the  Phoenix wyrm necklace so if something bad may happen, she will be okay.

An arrow shot in front of me as I avoided it by stepping aside. Looking ahead I saw Clive looking at me smugly. He then started to shooting arrow with wind attribute, compare to Ellie's attack. This looks like a childs play, I saw him had an irritated face as he couldn't land a hit on me.

Professor Glory POV

As I gave the signal to start the duel. Eleanor shot multiple arrows coated with fire and wind attributes. Just how did she train to be like that? She's only eight years old and she fight like that. No wonder she's a member of DC, even though she was fighting against Lucas Wykes. Another member of the DC she hold her ground better than I expected.

Lucas Wykes is a half-elf that's why he awakened earlier, and been pampered by elixirs. But Eleanor was holding him back from helping his teammates.

Turning my head to where prince Curtis, and Noah were. The battle was about to end with Curtis along with his bond was beaten by Noah. I saw Noah didn't even break a sweat as he ended the duel. He then surveyed the battlefield, and decided to help Eleanor a little by splitting the land Lucas was standing.

I'm sure Lucas will also lose seeing he have two enemies, and they were both strong.

I then turn my head on the fight Caera and Claire were having. Claire was holding her ground against the barrage of attacks being thrown by Caera. She even thrust her rapier every now and then, as expected from  the Disciplinary committee vice-captain. Their duel was interrupted by an arrow coming from Claire side, as she evaded it, but Noah appeared and swung his spear. Claire avoided it but not completely, as she jumped backward she forgot about Caera, and Caera smack the back of her head making her unconscious.

I saw the three of them look at were the last fight took place. Noah conjured a bench for the three of them to sit, as they watch the last battle unfold.

Arthur and Clive's battle was like, a battle between a white core and a black core. Although I don't see how white core fight, I meet one of the Lances before, that they say had a white core. And the pressure they emitted was strong, for ordinary people even low-level mages to handle.

Arthur had the boring expression written on his face, as he evaded Clive's arrows. I saw him blurred then appeared beside Clive and punching his gut. What the...

How did he do it? How did he suddenly appeared beside Clive instantly?

Clive them started screaming, but I don't know why, seeing Arthur didn't do anything after he punched Clive.

Wait. Didn't they say Arthur was a strong illusionist, that screw up a light-yellow mage like Geist.

After a while, Clive stopped screaming and passed out. Since the last member was unconscious, it means that team 1 won. Cheers erupted from the viewing platform as they watch the battle ended. They all awed the strengths of their classmates and respected them, I know they also acknowledge Arthur's strength to be a professor.

I couldn't help but grinned, they were all monsters. They're skill individually, and the way they fight as a team is a topnotch, They remind me of them, The Twin Horns. Wait isn't the former leader of the Twin Horns who retired was a Leywin?

No wonder Eleanor and Arthur were strong, they were trained by their parents.

Arthur Leywin POV

After we finished our upper-class subjects. The five of us make our way to the DC room, as we make our way Avier landed on my shoulder.

I conjured a sound barrier around us so no one can hear what will Avier say.

"Mr. Arthur. Cynthia said, you and your friends will leave your current room. And will move to a new one." Avier said as he show that something was tied on his legs.

"Why do we need to move out from our room?" I asked.

"Because Mr. Taci will also be your roommate and your room will be crowded. So giving you a new room is reasonable for the four of you to share." Avier responded.

After I removed it, Avier flew off.

"Wait! we are going to share our rooms?! This academy is big and they let the four students Share the same room?!" Taci complained.

"Don't complain I'm sure the director just want us to be together." Noah said calming taci.

We arrived at the DC room. After we pushed the door open we saw Doradrea and Theo sparring. All of the officers were here and are watching the spar.

We walked to where the others were sitting, and they all greeted us.

"How long have they been sparring?" I asked as we sit beside them.

"They just started it a minute before you arrived." Feyfey replied. He then saw taci and asked "is he the new officer?"

"Yes! I'm the new member of the DC, the name is Taci. I'm a solid-orange stage, augmenter with earth and wind attributes, specialty in spear." Taci introduced himself and the others nodded. They weren't shocked anymore as they saw Taci was part of our group. So seeing how strong Taci is, it didn't shocked them anymore.

Taci like us, is also using a concealer. He told us earlier that he is at the initial-silver stage. And was using a concealer to look like a solid-orange stage.

The spar between Doradrea and Theo also ended with Theo as the victor. We all move to the the meeting room to have our first meeting.

The room had a rectangular table and fourteen chairs, with six on each side and one on both ends. As they all take their sits, I started the meeting.

"Since this will be our first meeting, and because our committee was newly formed. We don't have much to do for the meantime, but I will explain to you guys our duties. So our duties, are to maintain the peace and order inside the academy, and making sure the spoiled brats from the noble houses wouldn't run rampant. So starting tomorrow we will start doing our jobs, by having our patrol routes. Since there are fourteen of us, we will be divided in teams of two. Theo, Claire, Curtis and Kai will patrol during daytime since us underclassmen have classes to attend to. While we underclassmen will patrol during afternoon, while the four of you attend your classes." I said as they all nodded.

"What about the six of us? I'm not sure how many classes Lucas take during daytime but, the six of us all had an afternoon classes. So how will we patrol?" Caera asked, as the others nodded.

"The six of us will patrol during night. Many crimes happen during the night, so it would be best for the six of us to take the night shift. And allow our colleagues to have a rest." I said and they all nodded.

"But don't worry even though the underclassmen or upperclassmen are on their classes, we can leave our classes if the others called us for help. I already asked the director about this earlier and she agreed, allowing us to leave our classes to help our teammates if we are near them." I said and they all nodded.

This will be the pair we will have, So just remember if any of you are to be in trouble call us." I announced and they all were satisfied from it.

"How are we going to communicate with each other?" Feyrith asked.

"We haven't told you guys yet but if you imagine any of the members in the Disciplinary committee while placing your hand on the sheath of your knife, the recipient's knife will emit a bright light and soft shock, notifying them who is in trouble. Each of the members knives has a distinct color so remember them well. And Taci you will receive yours later when we arrived at our dorm." I said as Taci nodded, and I start writing the different colors our DC knives would glow.

Arthur - Black

Claire - Pink

Noah - purple

Caera - navy blue

Eleanor - Grey

Taci - brown

Theo - yellow

Curtis - red

Kai - silver

Elijah - orange

Feyrith - Green

Doradrea - dark red

Kathyln - Blue

Lucas - Gold

"But wouldn't it be tiring for the six of you? I can help you with your patrols during night. Since I don't need to sleep anyway." Kai said worriedly. But I saw Taci, Noah, and Caera, look at him strangely.

"What do you mean you don't need to sleep? All of us need to sleep, why don't you need it? Come to think of it, of all officers your the only one who I didn't know the elemental attributes you had. So what affinity do you have?" Noah asked but I knew something was up. Since like Kai, we also didn't need to sleep, but why is he still asking?

"Kai is like our captain. Is good at using illusion magic, and he can also manipulate metal even though he's not a dwarf." Theo explained, as Noah and Taci heard Theo's words.

They both stood up from their seats. And dashed forward pinning Kai on the table. Taci then pricked his shoulder, and a green liquid leaked out. All of us were shocked at their actions, some even try to help Kai but they were all stopped by Caera.

"Well, well, what do we have here? I didn't expect to see a rat in here." Noah said as Taci pinned Kai on the table.

"What's wrong the both of you? Why are you doing this?" Curtis asked. They both ignored the others and Noah looked at me.

"Do you have a way to call the director here?" He asked as I nodded.

"Yes. Our knives were also connected to the director, so if you follow the process I explained earlier you can call the director." I explained as he do it.

Kai was struggling to break free from Taci, but Taci knocked him out. Minutes later the director rushed inside with Avier on her shoulder.

"What happened?" Director asked worriedly.

"It's nothing, We just caught some rat. I'm sure you know what to do, right?" Noah asked as the director nodded. The director called some guards to come inside and take Kai with them, and bring him to the dungeon.

"All of you should forget what happened here. It's not time for you guys to know what happened yet, and don't think Kai as one of your friends anymore. I'm sure it was just all an act." Director said before she left.

"What the director said is true, you shouldn't think of him as your friend. The next time you ever see him wandering freely, you need to kill him or you will be the one to be killed." Noah said as they all nodded. But I'm sure they all have questions in mind, the same goes for me. But we all keep it knowing they wouldn't answer it.

"Since Kai is out, the upperclassmen will patrol individually. I'm sure you can do it, right?" I said and they all nodded. "The meeting is over, you guys can do whatever you want for now."

"Wait! Didn't you said earlier that we will spar each other. I want to be your first opponent." Lucas said as he stood up from his chair.

"Sorry, but my rivals first opponent would be me!" Feyfey chimes in, They started arguing and ended up both of them sparring against each other.

"Hey Arthur. I want to spar with you." A voice said from behind, turning my head I saw the Brat, Taci. I grinned as he challenged me for a duel, I would ask him if he didn't anyway.

"Sure!"
