Ye Mo was quietly seated at a table still piled with files as Ye Zong retold him everything that had happened in the meeting . As the Guardian of Glory City, even when his wife had died, he didn't cry. But now, to see that his wife's dying wish for the protection of Glory City was fulfilled even though it was not by his hands caused his muddy eyes to let out his tears.

Quickly wiping his tears , Ye Mo listened to Ye Zong's words that Yang Xin was going to ascend to the other world to increase her cultivation.

Ye Mo somewhat frowned as this meant that Glory City would be without its most powerful protector.

The sound of footsteps came and Ye Mo and Ye Zong turned to see Ye Ziyun appearing in the entrance of the room as she raised her head to look at her father and grandfather.

" Father , Grandfather .... Nie Li has woken ."

Ye Mo and Ye Zong stood up .

This was great news to the two.

[ Draconic Ruins Realm - Divine Feather Sect ]

In a deep valley of the Divine Feathers Sect stood a straw hut surrounded by peach blossoms, like a garden full of peaches.

Ying Yueru could help but look at Lin Lingtian's bloody corpse in surprise as no medicine she brought effected him , this somewhat worried Ying Yueru as even her heavenly energy that she injected into his body seemed to disappear.

Just what was going on ?

Ying Yueru's thoughts were broken as Lin Lingtian's eyes began to open.

Ying Yueru's breath was taken away as she caught a glimpse of those cosmic eyes but the moment didn't last for long as Ying Yueru found herself being held by invisible chains of heavenly energy.

Even without her divination she could see that her life was in his hands.

Lin Lingtian meanwhile assessed his surroundings as his AI filled him up with what had happened after his body collided with the supreme level experts intent.

Touching his chest , Lin lingtian could feel that he had lost a third of all the celestial bodies inside his inner world.

Filled with the knowledge that the woman held in chains had saved him , Lin Lingtian was somewhat embarrassed and tried to play it off.

" So who are you exactly , someone the empire hired to save me ? "

Lin Lingtian's attempt to play himself off as oblivious and ignorant failed as Ying Yueru saw through him as she was skilled in finding even the smallest details in her divination and correcting interpreting them.

Ying Yueru smiled kindly and decided to play along ," Yes , I was hired by the empire to save you ."

Lin Lingtian sighed as he heard Ying Yueru's answer and with his mind's eye he could tell that she had figured his bluff out.

Coughing into his hand , Lin Lingtian released Ying Yueru and said with a somewhat embarrassed face ," Thanks for saving me and sorry for attacking you."

Ying Yueru just smiled in response as she didn't care if he attacked her since to her it was somewhat understandable.

Lin Lingtian cleared his throat before he paused and grabbed Ying Yueru's hands surprising her greatly.

Ying Yueru looked up to see Lin Lingtian's cosmic eyes glowing with a ethereal glow.

Ying Yueru's felt herself gazing upon a nebula as she subconsciously stopped breathing.

Her mind was so engrossed in gazing upon Lin Lingtian's inner world that many of her body's functions stopped working so that her mind could get every bit of energy her body had.

Lin Lingtian closed his eyes causing Ying Yueru to snap back to reality .

" What was that ? " Ying Yueru whispered to herself before she felt something off about herself.

Suddenly she turned to look at Lin lingtian who just smirked and said ," Think of it as an apology and a thank you."

Ying Yueru blinked a few times as she tried to comprehend Lin Lingtian's words since he had essentially repaired her broken lifespan caused by her use of the divination technique.

Did that mean she wasn't going to die because of the divination technique like her master did ?

Wiping the few tears from her eyes as she was reminded of her master , Ying Yueru looked at Lin Lingtian who seemed like he wanted to say something.

" So where am I ? "

" Divine Feather Sect "

" Hmm , let me reprash my question ; does this realm have a name ? "

" Yes , this realm is known as the Draconic Ruins Realm."

Lin Lingtian sighed since he wasn't that lost.

" Ah ! Miss..."

" Ying Yueru ."

" Miss Ying Yueru , do you know of a way to get to the Tiny World ? "

Ying Yueru nodded before she exclaimed ," I know of a way but there is a problem."

[ Divine Continent - Nether Realm ]

Yu Yan , Yang Xin and Xiao Ning'er flew through the Nether Realm while ignoring the battles occuring below them.

Ever since the Ashura War , the Nether Realm had become unstable.

The shockwaves of the battle , shock the realm to its core causing many deaths of experts of powerful families who all had teamed up to stop the small residual shockwave that permeated through Lin Lingtian's barriers.

With the death of those experts , many weaker families combined their might and attacked the stronger families who were weakened by their actions of trying to stop the residual shockwave.

The actions of the smaller families shocked the more powerful families as they were defeated in their weakened state.

Seeing no interference from the Nether lord , many other families tried to do something similar .

Some succeeded but many failed.

But the success of the minority sparked an all out war to erupt in the Nether Realm.

Xiao Ning'er , Yu Yan and Yang Xin tried to find a portal out of the Tiny World but they couldn't sense it.

Space tore open as Tempest appeared in front of them with some bad news.

The portal between the Tiny World and Draconic Ruins Realm had been broken.

They have no way of leaving the Tiny World.
