Chapter 13 - Mission Complete

"It's nothing. You guys have to go back to the city and go the hospital. You lost a lot of blood." said Vasco.

"Ah! Yeah Haley we need to go back now. Let's go!" Sam position herself to carry Haley on her back.

Haley take out something from her wallet and says "Take this card. If you have any problem to be solved or wanted to get rewarded just call me." She smiled and leap on Sam's back.

"Well we are going now! Thank you!" Sam ran while shouting.

Vasco kept the card inside his pocket and proceed to his next mission.

Sam and Haley managed to get to the nearest city and arrived at the hospital. Outside her room had many bodyguards and it was a VVIP room meaning she's the only patient inside.

"We are glad that you are okay darling." said middle aged woman.

"How did this happened? Did I not told you to stay inside the city only? And why did you not bring your guards if you wanna go outside?" a middle aged man questioned while looking at Haley and Sam.

Sam looked down guiltily while Haley looked at her father and replied "Father, it was my fault not Sam. I asked her to go to the forest to find beasts cores. She refused at first but agreed after I begged her. We thought that we could get some of the beasts cores but we ended up confronting murderers and rapists on our way. I am so sorry father." She bow down to her father with her eyes holding her tears.

"Richard! Don't make our daughter cry. You should be thankful that our daughter is fine. She should be relieved because she just had a trauma not scolded like this." Lina Hailey's mother glared at her husband.

"Now, now darling. It's alright. Everything's fine. Your father is too dumb to realized that he almost lost his precious daughter." She glance and rolled her eyes at her husband and smiled. "You should rest okay sweetheart? You need to take care of yourself because you were wounded and lost a lot of blood." She then look at her husband eyes and point her head towards Haley.

"I'm sorry sweetheart. I was just worried about you. I didn't meant to scold you it's just that I was so mad that you didn't even tell me about this." said Richard.

"I know Father. I'm sorry and I won't do it again." Haley replied.

Richard can only smile as he knows that his daughter will do it again anyways. Lina walks towards Sam and said "Thank you Sam for bringing our daughter back. Thanks to you that she got back in time." She hold Sam hands and continue "You must be pretty shaken yourself. Poor girl. You should rest too with Haley okay? Both of you are almost like sisters since you guys grew up together. When your mother and father left you in my care I already acknowledge you as my daughter so you must listen to my words okay darling?".

Sam replied. "Thank you auntie." but her words were stopped by Lina as she said "It's mother for you on not auntie understood? You should also called uncle as father."

Sam look at Haley to see that Haley smiled and nod. She then replied. "Yes mother.".

"Good, good. now you both have to rest. We old bones will let you guys cool down a little bit and talk with each other." She smiled and walk towards the door.

"Thanks Sam" Richard pats Sam's head.

"Welcome father" Sam replied with her face embarrassed.

He then followed Lina walk out from the room with the guards. Haley and Sam looked at each other, smiled and giggled as they talk about their new relationship as sisters.

Lina and Richard walks to their car. As they enter the car, Lina look at Richard and said "Richard you know what to do right?".

Richard eyes sharpen as he replied "I know."

Haley doesn't know this but her parents had one thing that they hates the most and that is when someone tried to harm their daughter. Especially now that they had 'two' daughters, it almost makes them furious to the point that they already began the search of the murderers or rapists families and friends. The car drove away out from the hospital.

Vasco had located his second mission. He already fight with the Battle Bees. They look like bees but only bigger like a cat and had long stinger. He already harvest them and are on his way to his third mission. As he walked, he also harvested some plants, flowers and fruits that is in need for material to use in alchemy or medicine.

He arrives at the third location as see two big lizards hugging each other as if they were fighting. He stalk them and hide in the bushes to wait for his opportunity to kill both of them. The two lizards bite and scratch at each other while hugging and rolling on the ground. They rolled and rolled until they arrive in front of the bushes that Vasco hide.

Vasco seeing his opportunity strike both of it. The lizards was slow to notice the attack coming to them. They can only managed to spit out their venom from their mouths but Vasco managed to dodged it and cut both of the lizards head.

"Wew. Almost." as he look at the tree that got the lizards venomous spit melts.

He then harvest the carcass and store it in his backpack. He then look for a safe spot and changed his clothes.

"Well. I guess mission complete." Vasco said and walks away towards the city.

He arrived at the city and go straight to the portal and teleported to his academy. He enter the Mission Hall and talks to the receptionist before submitting his mission. He managed to sell the other parts of the beast while keeping the cores. He got a little bit of money from selling the other parts,

"Now I don't have to ask dad for pocket money always." Vasco thought as he walks to his bedroom and wash himself clean before jump to his bed and sleep.
