Adeline was staring at it with dilated eyes. It couldn't guess what was going on in her mind, but it'd been startled to see her suddenly burst into laughter.
It was confused, wondering why she was laughing. It hadn't done anything to amuse her, had it?
Adeline breathed softly, returning her focus to it. "You can't-" She chuckled, covering her mouth. "You can't curse?"
It'd taken a moment, just peering at her, before raising a brow. "Curse?" Its voice was just as deep as Caesars, even deeper. However, it lacked the sultriness and emotion that Caesar had. That hushed seduction and affection that tainted his tone, leaving it maddening when he spoke.
Adeline gave a nod. "Call him an asshole next time you wish to curse him, instead of just...thing."
"I see." It nodded, its golden eyes moving from her head to halt at her collarbones. "You," It pointed at her. "Like me?"
