Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Orion's Soldiers VS Fico

The more Fico spoke, the more I began to understand. She was right. Sky had been recruiting loyal soldiers. He connects with people who have underminable loyalty.

All of us served somebody at one point, and now, we serve him.

Do we have no freedom?

No... that can't be right... there's more here that I'm not seeing.

Before I knew it, my saber slid against Fico's claws at close range. Moon was near too, readying her rapier for another strike. Amera kept at a range, priming her Chakram for use. Dante was closing in with two blades in his hands and his armor waiting to take a beating. Tavian was ready with his saber, and Ellie was drawing closer and closer as the seconds went by.

This was all wrong... Fico cannot be talking to us about loyalty, not when she serves somebody above her as well. We all serve somebody... that's right... even Orion served somebody... even Illya served somebody... even Fico served somebody...

The saber clipped Fico's claws and all attacks happened at once, causing a puff of smoke to come out of her position.

Fico backflipped high up in the air, peering downward toward everybody with her wings enlarged. Through the puff of smoke, Tavian and I ran toward the right, interweaving between each other's paths to throw her off, and allowing Moon and Dante to create some distance.

While she was in the air, Amera threw her Chakram up toward Fico and caused her to turn her back on Ellie.

Ellie perfectly threw her sword like a javelin and punctured one of Fico's wings while the Chakram was rotating around her. The bladed ring cut a belt on her hip and the four of us on the ground got right underneath Fico as she started to land again.

"Tch!" She clicked her tongue, waving one of her wings toward a building on our right-hand side.

The supports collapsed under the pure amount of strength and pressure from the burst of wind, causing small chunks of cement to fall over both Tavian and my head.

"Keep tight and stay away from it!" Tavian shouted out to me.

I nodded as he slid under a fallen pillar, vaulted over a fallen bookshelf, and jumped through a barely intact window.

My saber cut through the cement before I got close enough to jump through the falling building, and I rolled as a landing, barely missing a rebar sticking up out of the ground. Dante cut the cement out of the air with his dull blades, protecting Moon's head as she covered it while running.

Ellie was running along the top of the fallen building, getting even closer to Fico. Fico sprouted more wings from her back, and feathers made of strands started to shoot out.

None of us were as athletic or could process projectiles fast enough like Faith was, so we took hits, and we took a ton of them.

It broke the glass and scraped across our faces, it chipped cement, and it caused some of us to fall weak, but Tavian and I bridged that weakness and were able to get up close with Fico.

Tavian started by swinging downward toward her. Fico simply dodged to the right and was met with one of my horizontal strikes.

After the strike landed, she took the hit with her wing, and Tavian was up in the air again, plunging his saber downward.

When the tip of his saber hit the ground, he ducked his head, which dodged one of my horizontal strikes, and threw Fico off by the synchronous movement we both shared.

The horizontal strike ended, and Tavian flipped his body, grabbing onto his saber from behind his back, and widely hitting another downward strike on Fico.

It was so powerful that she had to summon a golden saber at the last minute just to block it. While she was blocking it, I planted my knee into her stomach.

She spit up the air in her lungs and ducked under a flying Chakram coming right for her face. She twisted her body around, grappling onto my left arm, and snapping it out of place.

I had been taught to disregard pain like that, so I grabbed a handful of her hair, and Tavian cut both of her eyes out with his saber. She was wildly flying around and jerking around in unpredictable patterns, causing me to let go from confusion, and causing Tavian to lose his left leg in the process.

He fell to the ground, gripping his knee where it was cut, and rolled out of the way as Fico launched more feathers at him. I rolled over to him through the feathers, picked him up, and ran back into the smoke from the building.

Just as my heel crossed that opaque barrier of smoke, Dante and Moon came running out with their weapons at the ready. Ellie jumped over Tavian and me, revealing herself to Fico as well. The three engaged, never tripping over their own steps.

"Set me down over there, and get back in there. They need you Noboki, I can handle this," Tavian said. He ripped the sleeve of his shirt to stop the soaking wound from bleeding too much.

"They'll handle it, we weakened her a decent amount," I told Tavian, looking back down at his leg.

"I'm going to heal it with strands, or try to at least. Go back, I got this," Tavian told me. I listened to him after a few seconds of contemplating and got up to run back into the fight.

When I got there, Ellie was at close range with Fico, taking a few hits, and dealing a few of them as well.

Amera was throwing her Chakram into the field when possible, and Moon was looking back toward me.

"LOOK OUT!" I heard her scream.

I wanted to be invincible, as does everybody, but Fico's claw lodged itself into my head.

I thought I was for sure dead as I felt a large amount of blood drip down into my shirt, but I was extremely lucky, as a cluster of strands held the dislodged blade into place while it was stuck in my cheek.

I could feel cold air tickle my brain, and I felt absent. I couldn't place anything around me, and I was having trouble staying calm.

"Guys...?" I asked, turning my only working eye toward Fico's claw.

It was dripping in the gelatinous substance.
