"Noboki! Oh my God... are you okay?!" Moon shouted out toward me.
Ellie jumped in front of the both of us to guard us in case Fico tried anything, and I was too busy trying to comprise a thought together to talk to Moon.
"Um... I'm... um... I'm... F... Fine..." I mumbled.
From the corner of my eye, two Chakrams, vibrating in white strands, shone brightly through the smoke.
When they were thrown, I thought they were moving backward from the speed at which they were thrown. When they clattered together and bounced off of Fico's feathers, I could clearly see they were thrown with a speed so insane, that my eyes couldn't process them.
Fico caught one and tried to break it, but they vanished into strands and recreated themselves as they bounced off of each other.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" Amera screamed out.
She flipped her body diagonally as she jumped off of her perch, throwing about five Chakrams she kept spawning in with white strands, and closing the distance with Fico.
The battlefield became a rotating mess of bladed rings, so much so that Moon had to duck down by my head just to make sure it would stay on.
"I've heard that line thousands of times, it is no different coming out of your mouth!" Fico screamed out.
"You're gonna wish that was true," Amera said.
She threw another Chakram... but this one was different.
White strands were flying wildly from the trajectory of the blade, spanning all across the battlefield, and messily getting stranded all over.
"Nice shot, dumbass," Fico muttered.
Amera pulled her hand back, as all strands coalesced into a rope that connected to every strewn-about strand path on the battlefield.
When she pulled, at least a hundred Chakrams spawned out of the ground and cornered Fico.
Fico intelligently jumped up with her wings, but before her feet left the ground, Amera was peering down at her with the most devilish, pure white eyes I've ever seen in anybody's eyes. This couldn't even match Sky's look.
The Chakram in her hand expanded to about four times the size of the original, growing bigger and bigger as the tip of the blade collided with Fico's shoulder.
There was a screeching noise, a ton of screaming, and sounds of rock cracking and exploding as the Chakram ruined the landscape.
I had no idea Amera could summon that sort of power... not from strands that didn't even belong to her.
Amera hit the ground, running over to Moon and me in a split second. Ellie was still covering her head, and cowering behind anything she could that would keep her safe.
"Get Noboki to medical, I'll hold the fort over here," Amera told Moon and me.
"I'm... I can... I'll be... I can..." I tried to speak, but nothing was coming out. I was hit too hard on the head, and couldn't formulate a sentence.
Dammit!
I stood up on both of my legs. They were unaffected, as my motor abilities remained intact from the heavy hit I took. I tried to heal my wounds with the strands I was given, but nothing happened. I was stuck in an injured body.
"Impressive... very, very impressive," Fico said out loud.
She pushed debris off of her and regenerated her dismembered silhouette through the fog as she walked closer.
"I haven't been hit that hard in a very, very long time. I have to ask, how did you get those strands? Do those belong to you? Because... I'm not really sure that they do... they tasted very familiar," Fico said.
She reconstructed her jaw through the smoke as well. Her tongue was hanging so far out of her body that it looked like a scarf swaying in the wind until I saw the jaw reattach itself.
"You can excuse my behavior if I seem a little pissed off, right? This... the Chakram that pierced my armor and injured me, with those puny white strands... you can understand why that makes me angry, can't you? CAN'T YOU?!" Fico screamed out again.
"If they're so puny, why did they hurt you so badly? If they're so puny, why is it all we need to put up a fight against you?" Ellie asked her.
Fico took one side-eyed glance over at Ellie and burst out into laughter. Nobody could understand what was so funny, it wasn't making any sense.
"Do you gamble, Ellie?" Fico asked her. Ellie slightly shook her head as feathers started to swing all around Fico.
"Then we won't know if you have good luck or not," Fico said.
She ran over to Ellie, took a hit to the head with her sword, and Fico grabbed onto Ellie's collar.
"You better hope you hit a body of water, because that'll kill you otherwise," Fico said.
She ripped her shoulder out of the socket charging backward and threw Ellie like a doll as far and fast as possible.
There was a shockwave from the speed at which she was thrown, and Tavian reentered the battlefield at the right time.
"And as for you, Chakram girl, I have something for you," Fico said. Her wings covered her head, and one of the wings detached itself and launched straight at her legs.
It pierced her right leg and cut up her left one badly, pushing her up into the perch again and causing her to get stuck into the wall.
"I'll go get her, you make sure you're okay, and run if you need to," Moon whispered into my ear. I nodded and steadied my legs while looking forward again.
"You're still standing? Look at you... you're a mess!" Fico shouted out with her arm pointed in my direction.
As soon as it raised, it was lobbed off by Dante, coming from the debris swinging widely with a saber in his hands.
"You forgot about me already?!" He screamed out with a smile.
"You people... you Soldiers of Orion... you piss me off!" Fico screeched out.
