Chapter 19: Finally meeting!!!

= Weeks Later =

It's morning and Rin wants to work at the bar for today. There isn't many customers so Makino told Rin she's closing the bar today.

"By the way Rin, you send Luffy to the bandits place last time right? Do you remember the way?" Makino asked.

"Yeah why?"

"I think I'll pay a visit with the mayor. It have been almost six months since I saw Luffy." said Makino.

' Wait isn't this the time when Makino brings clothes for Luffy? That means Garp gonna come tonight... I guess it's time to meet them '

"Makino I'll show the way so can I come!?!" Rin asked.

"Sure!"

After buying some clothes and fetching the mayor they went to the mountain. They found the bandits shack. The met Dadan who suddenly apologize because she thought the mayor was Garp.

"Excuse me. I heard that Luffy is here." Makino asked.

Dadan looked at them with a confused face.

"Makino!" Luffy said excitedly.

Makino is happy to see Luffy. "Luffy!"

"You look great. It's been six months so we came here to see how you're doing." The mayor said.

"Hey Mayor!" Luffy saw Rin behind the mayor and greets her too. "Rin you're here too!!"

Rin smiled and said "Hey Luffy."

Just like in the anime the mayor argue with Dadan and Makino shows Luffy the clothes. Makino calls Ace and Sabo who are standing at the door. Sabo went straight to Makino but Ace hesitate before following Sabo. Makino finished fixing the clothes for Luffy and now is fixing the clothes for Sabo.

Rin walk towards Luffy to talk to Luffy. "Hey Luffy the black hair boy is Ace right?" Rin pretends not to know.

"Yeah, Why?"

"So he's the one who threw you into the valley?"

"Urk! Um... but he's nice now..." Luffy answered.

"I see. So you're friends with him and the other boy."

"Yeah!! Ace and Sabo are my brothers now!!"

Rin smiled "Good for you."

Sabo finished changing his clothes with the one Makino bought and walk to Luffy. Makino is now fixing Ace clothes.

"Hey. Rin right? You're Luffy's friend?" Sabo asked to Rin who is beside Luffy.

"Yeah." Rin said with a smile.

"I'm Sabo and the boy over there is Ace." Sabo said while pointing at Ace. "So you're from the village?"

"Yep."

"Hmm... " Sabo put his hand on his chin like he was thinking. A second later Sabo ask "Can you fight?"

The question surprised Rin a little but then she answers "...Kinda. Why?"

Sabo smiled then faced towards Ace and yelled "Hey Ace! Let's bring her along."

"wait- WHAT!?!?" Rin confused by what Sabo said.

Ace gave a ' What the heck?!? ' face to Sabo.

"Yeah let's bring Rin too!!" Luffy intervene.

"Wait wait wait, just what do you mean by, let's bring her along, exactly?" Even though Rin is happy by what Sabo said she didn't expect things to escalate this quickly. ' Did the system did this... I don't think it can... is it a disturbance cause from me being here... or is it something else... '

"It means you'll be hanging out with us." Sabo explained.

"That's not much of an explanation..." Rin looked at Ace and see him glaring at her. "... and I don't think he like the idea." Rin points at Ace.

Sabo shaked his head and said "Nah! He won't mind."

"Yeah yeah he won't mind." Luffy said while nodding excitedly.

". . ." Rin doesn't know what to say. She wants to hang out with them but afraid Ace will kill her before she could earn his trust. That's when she got an idea. "Um... how about this... if I win in a fight against Ace I'll join you." Rin remembered that Ace is strong but usually fights head on. Rin is good at dodging so if she can thought up of a plan, she might win.

After Ace is done changing clothes he went to Sabo to scold him but Sabo were able to negotiate with Ace by saying something like if he wins Rin won't join them but if she wins no more complaints. Ace agrees.

"The rules is simple, the first one to pass out loses and no weapons, you also can't get out of the fighting space. The fight is tomorrow." Rin stated the rules.

"Yeah sure." Ace said crossed arms.

After the talk finished they all went inside the shack. Makino is preparing lots of meals for dinner so Rin went to help her. It's night so Rin prepared the table for dinner. Everyone is sitting and eating at the table. The three boys started talking about who'll become a pirate first. Then Garp shows up at the door. The bandits were shocked, Ace and Luffy's face were pale before they turned around.

"You're still saying crap like that?!" Garp said with a scary face. "Can't you both understand that you must become Navy soldiers!?"

*BAM* *BAM*

Ace and Luffy got hit on the head.

"Dadan?"

"Yes Garp-san..."

*BAM*

"Why should I get hit too?" Dadan asked while on the floor.

"You're not educating the brats well!" Garp then look at Sabo "Squirt, you mentioned about going out to the sea too..."

Luffy intervene "He's not a "Squirt" he's Sabo. We exchanged a cup of sake and pledged to become pirates!"

"He has such a big mouth..." Ace said sadly.

"Oh. That means now there are three fools." Garp said while cracking his knuckles. "But sadly I got a business with that girl." Garp points at Rin.

"Huh!?" Rin confused. ' That's weird... isn't he supposed to beat up the three of them. '

"Yes you." Garp said while walking towards Rin.

"Wait I don't think I did anything wrong... at least not yet..." Rin said while walking backwards.

Seeing this Makino get in between Garp an Rin"Garp stop it!! You're scaring the little kid!"

"..." Garp was silent for a while then he ask "Makino you said the kid got washed ashore last time right?"

"Yes... I asked if you could find out where she used to live."

"I'm just gonna ask the kid some questions regarding that." Garp says while scratching his head.

Makino look at Rin with confusion.

' Makino ask what! Of course Garp wanted to ask questions, I shouldn't exist here to begin with! ' Rin took a deep breath and said "I understand... can we talk outside..." she could feel her legs shaking.

"Okay..." Garp answered.

"Wait Rin I'll come with you!!" Luffy yelled.

"No it's okay Luffy..."

Rin and Garp went outside to talk.

"So... what do you wanna talk about?" Rin asked.
