"And you don't have to act like you are some kind of winner in your life. Look at you, you are doing some ordinary work in front of a computer that nobody cares about." Yuki punched Alex's face and shouted at him with anger in his voice.

Alex took that punch head-on and stumbled back, which resulted in him falling to the ground.

Alex got back up and wiped the blood from the cut on his cheek."Kid, you sure have put quite a bit of strength in that punch."

Yuki got stumped by what he had done, he was regretting a bit but seeing Alex smiling at him made him forget about his regrets."You deserve it."

Then, Yuki took his backpack and ran away with his head down.

"Kid, I do not want to mess with you." Alex looked up and squinted his eyes."I feel like fate is playing some kind of trick. My heart wants to see what you have done and what you will do."

Alex sighed a little and walked toward his home."I should now just think of catching that rat."

"Finally home." Alex slumped down on his bed.

"Let me freshen up myself first." He went to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

Getting dressed, he was about to make some food for himself but got interrupted by the sound of someone knocking on his door.

He opened the door just to see that it was Nina, and with her was her small son, who had small cat ears and a tail behind him.

Nina didn't waste time with any kind of greeting; she just said to Alex. "Come have dinner with us today. I made some special dishes as a celebration for your job."

"Yes, brother, come. I have found another amazing story I want to show you too." Her small son entered his room and dragged him away, holding his right hand.

Entering their room, he was greeted by a small, potbellied man who was sitting on the dining table. "Alex, where did you go yesterday? We were really worried, and you made Heigen almost tear up."

"I am sorry, uncle Holder." Alex apologized as he sat across from Holder, and beside him, Heigen sat down.

Shortly after, Nina served all the dishes on the table. There were actually many types of dishes on the table, as Nina had said.

Holder laughed out loud. "Hahaha, you did a nice thing by getting a job. I can finally eat some good stuff at home."

Slap

Nina pouted and gave small at Holder's shoulder. She sat down beside him and said."I can't have you eat much or you will become more fat."

Holder gave his belly a slap and smiled proudly. "What are you saying? This is the pride of us, men."

"Hmph, what is there to be proud of? Having a big, fat belly?" Nina scoffed.

"You won't get it, my wife." Holder shook his head in disappointment. "Anyway, let's eat. The food is getting cold."

After some of their banter, all of them started to eat.

In the middle of their eating, Heigen started to tell about the new story he read online.

"You know, brother, the protagonist was the most powerful guy on the planet, but he wanted to stay secretive. However, doing that made him bored. So he came up with an idea. He would train many kids and let them not tell anything about him." Heigen's eyes started to sparkle.

He explained with great enthusiasm. "Then those kids grew big and started to battle each other along with their journey. They would also fight other heros that were not trained by him and sometimes plot to kill each other. It was so much fun."

Alex's eyes widened with shock the more he heard about it. His spoon stopped right before his mouth, and he uttered in a daze. "It is indeed...fun."

"I can't wait for it to get adapted. I want to see the protagonist show his true powers." Heigen said he took a bite of beef.

Alex ate in a daze as he got intrigued by the idea this protagonist took. He wondered. 'I can also do that, but with more spice in it. Yes, yes, I have to do it. It feels like a game.'

A smile grew on his face. 'Fate, you want to play some tricks on me, huh? I will make my own son of destiny to fight yours. Let's see who wins.'

"Brother, will you see this story with me when it gets adapted?" Heigen asked eagerly.

"I have to! I cannot miss such a good story." Alex smiled immediately as he thought of the exciting future.

"Yayyy!" Heigen cheered out loud upon seeing Alex agree with him.

"Heigen! Eat first. You can discuss everything with Alex later." Nina warned Heigen as he made too much noise at the dining table.

Heigen shoved the spoon in his mouth and said dejectedly."Yes, mom."

A couple of minutes later, they finished eating their dinner.

Alex was about to go to his room and rest. All of a sudden, shouting could be heard, and it was coming from the outside.

Heigen opened the window to see what it was, and Alex, along with him, put his head out.

"You Bitch! You are cheating on me again!" An angry shout from a man sounded across the neighborhood.

"No, listen. It wasn't my fault. He came suddenly and intoxicated me." Then the sound of a desperate woman came.

From their conversation, it looked like they were husband and wife. It seemed like they were quarreling about the wife cheating on her husband.

"Are you saying he has more charm than me?"

"No, no, that's not it. He may have used some kind spell on me."

Alex sighed at this and went to his room to sleep.

Meanwhile, on top of his building.

A man was standing on the edge of the roof. He had neck-length, curly blonde hair. His face was not from this world, it looked like a man had sculpted the face of a god on him. He had tightly knitted muscles, and a natural killer smile was on his face. He was wearing a casual shirt and pants.

The man sighed. "Woman, you were not under any spell. You were captivated by me, the God of Olympus, Zeus. You should be glad you were able to spend a night with me rather than with that loser of yours."
