A daze

Zilae was currently in his own room, sitting down on a chair and engrossed in his studies. With a pen in hand, he scribbled down the paper leaves and leaned back, stretching out his arms before taking off his round glasses. He then crossed his legs, resting his cheek on top of his palm as he tiredly flipped through another page, shading down his answers before providing the formula right under the blank space provided below the paper.

*oh, this one is easy...ah, I'm quite sleepy now.* He thinks to himself.

Once done, he close his binder notebook, putting it aside before taking another one and continuing to write down the essays needed to be given tomorrow to his English professor. Writing down with ease, he didn't seem to notice the knock on the door and the incoming presence, only doing so when he heard his name being called out, that he raised his head with a drowsy gaze. "...huh? Oh, hey.."

He greeted quite weakly, though he did force a small smile to not seem rude or disinterested. "Do you need something?"

(Mateo): "Dude.. sorry to wake you but I suggest you get up before you get locked in the school until tomorrow" I say as I cross my fingers in a teasing way slightly.

(Zilae): Zilae blinked, his dazed and tired expression changing into one of slight alarm as he processed the urgency of Mateo's words. He furrowed his brows and quickly glanced at the clock, realizing that he had lost track of time and it was indeed getting late.

"Oh...oh shit." He muttered under his breath, swiftly standing up from his chair and ruffling his disheveled hair. "Thanks for warning me, Mateo. I totally forgot about the curfew. I'll hurry up and get ready."

Zilae quickly gathered his books and stuffed them into his bag, throwing it over his shoulder, and heading towards the door. He paused for a moment and turned back to face Mateo, his guard momentarily let down as he couldn't help offering a grateful smile. "Seriously, thanks. I owe you one."

(Mateo): "You always owe me something" I laugh and then say "Hurry up.. I'll meet you at the dorms" I say softly and smile softly at him.

He was such a great friend. I didn't know how else to react but to laugh and smile softly at him by his actions… even if his actions weren't funny or anything.

(Zilae): Zilae's expression softened at Mateo's teasing words, a hint of fondness coloring his gaze. He appreciated the lightness and ease that Mateo brought into his life, even in moments of rush and stress. He nodded in acknowledgment, his smile matching Mateo's gentle one.

"I know, I know. I'll make it up to you somehow." He replied, his voice laced with warmth and gratitude. With a final nod, Zilae quickly made his way out of his room, leaving Mateo behind as he hurried towards the dorms. Despite the rush, he couldn't help but feel a wave of comfort wash over him, knowing that Mateo would be waiting for him at the dorms.

He quickly ran to the dorm, He made it very much earlier then me to our dorm and he opened the dorm door and saw his girlfriend there.

Mateo wasn't there yet.

(Zilae): Zilae entered the dorm and was momentarily taken aback when he saw his girlfriend, Yu Lumina, waiting for him inside the room. Her presence surprised him, as he wasn't expecting her to be there. He quickly composed himself, though, and greeted her with a calm smile.

"Hey, Lumina. What brings you here?" He asked, walking towards her and giving her a gentle peck on the cheek. "I didn't know you were coming over today."

Zilae couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at seeing Lumina despite his tiredness. He had missed her, and having her around unexpectedly lifted his spirits, if only a little.
