Chapter 7
Luna p.o.v.
" What is this? " I asked Lucas and touched that invisible wall again. It feels like touching the water but this isn't water, it's like a thick layer of air...
"It's called glamour. Only a magical creature can see and go inside it. Now come with me "
Lucas replied and enter that thick layer of air, I mean Glamour... I followed him and enters inside it.
I see that old cabin turn into a beautiful cottage in front of my eyes, unbelievable... We are still in the same forest but that old and broken cabin is not broken anymore, it's pretty.
The cabin is made of wood and surrounded by big trees and the river is flowing in some distance...The place is so calm and beautiful.
I closed my eyes and focused on the sweet melody of birds chirping mixed with the calm sound of water waves...
The slow cold wind is kissing my face lightly making my long blonde hairs fall over my face. I take a deep breath and that familiar soft fragrance of lavender flowers hits my nose...
I open my eyes when I feel a warm hand touching my face. Lucas is standing in front of me, his deep green eyes are like this forest, I just want to get lost in them...shit what am I thinking...
but he is looking so beautiful, his black hair is stuck backward but some of his hair stand coming on his forehead making his beautiful face even more beautiful...he sure looks like an angel. fuck Luna, I think that glamour is doing something with my mind that's why I am thinking like this...
He removes my hair from my face, and his warm hand is touching my cheeks, giving my whole body a tingling sensation.
He takes a deep sigh and said "It's so bad that you have to cut your hair"
" what... but why? " I asked getting panicked. I love my hair, it's no way that I am going to cut them...
"It's a rule, Luna...you have to" He replied and started walking towards the river.
" But why? it is a useless rule..." I said while walking toward him. He is standing in front of the river staring at it...
" Years ago...a girl burn her hair accidentally when she was learning magic...No one understand what happened. Everyone tried to stop the fire but her hair didn't stop burning and she died..."
" But it was years ago and I also think it's an unnecessary rule but the headmistress is stubborn and doesn't want to remove that rule,"
he said while staring at the river...what is he watching, anyway?
" why headmistress didn't want to change the rule..." I asked and take a deep sigh, I don't want to cut my hair...
" because that girl was her daughter..." He replied
oh, now it makes sense, she didn't want any girl to get burned again. But still, I don't want to cut my hair... I glance at Lucas and he is still staring at the river. ugh, what is he watching...
" Why are you staring at the river? You are making those innocent fish uncomfortable, you pervert "
I said and smirk at him when he glared at me hearing my question
" Stop calling me that, you dirty little girl "
He replied and turned around, He started walking towards the cabin, did he just come here to stare at the river?
" did you just go there to stare at fish? "
" No, I was watching Alfheim " He replied
What Alfhiem is inside that river... how is it possible? but again everything is possible now...Look at me I am a fucking half-human...
" it was inside the river? I thought it was another world or perhaps another planet..." I asked to confirm my assumption.
" We are magical creatures, not aliens" He replied while chuckling
" no, Ummm I thought that...ugh, nothing just forget about it..."
okay, this is embarrassing...I seriously thought that Alfheim is a different planet...
"Don't tell me you were thinking that we will go to alfhiem from that pencil-like machine...what humans call it...yes rocket? "
I am not gonna tell him that, I seriously considered it... I was excited to see a rocket...ugh I am stupid.
" You were considering it. aren't you? " He said and started laughing at me.
" stop...I didn't," I whine
" Let's go inside I want to eat something, I am hungry"
I said and go in front of the door. I am not that hungry but I want to change the topic...
Lucas opens the door and I don't know how... because there was no keyhole or handle and it is not electronic, he just touched the door, and boom...the door opened. I only saw that red fog coming outside from his fingers.
He enters the cabin and I followed him behind. The cabin is not big but not so small either, we are standing in the living room, there is a small fireplace and three couches in front of it. Some boys and girls are sitting there, they are reading books. Some are sitting at the kitchen counter and eating something.
When we enter the living room they all stop their work and glance in our direction. I smiled at them and some of them smiled back others were just staring at me...
I don't have social anxiety and can talk to people easily unless they didn't act mean toward me. I am not a social butterfly either...I just hope they are not mean and arrogant.
" She is Luna, the last one like you. She will share a room with Lily and jasmine. Show her the room and explain her rules."
Lucas orders two girls, they looked identical so obviously, they are twins. The tone of Lucas is changed completely, it is not playful as before. It is dominating and strict...
Seeing everyone's faces I can guess they all feared him because they all are standing like a soldier in front of him...
A boy with big black hair comes toward me and pokes at my shoulder with his index finger. His black hair is covering his forehead and eyes. how is he able to see?
He looks strange but still, I smiled at him to be polite because I don't want anyone to think that I am arrogant.
" Boss boos... is she is like your species, I can't see her mate color," that boy asked Lucas and again nudge at my shoulder.
" How many times do I have to tell you I am not your boss and stop considering me your biology project. "
Lucas shouts at him and goes inside the kitchen. He is acting so differently like he is some other person...
" Psycho, come here stop poking her. Do you want another punishment from professor Asmodeus "
A girl with beautiful black hair and chocolate tan skin pulls that boy towards her. She has a weird mark on her neck like veins. It is on the left side of her neck to her cheekbones. I notice the same mark on other girls too...weird
" Sorry for his behavior, he is kinda weird but you don't need to be afraid of him, he is a good person."
That girl said while smiling at me. She is so beautiful like a goddess. I glance at other girls and they all are so beautiful even boys are also attractive. Did they come from some kind of magazine or something?
" It's okay and I don't think he is weird..." I replied
" if you don't mind can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, sure"
" Why didn't we able to see your mate color not even a single ray of fog is coming from your body...did you already learn to control it? it was so hard for us to control. "
she asked and others also come close to me, they all are curious about it but I can't tell them the truth. Lucas told me not to tell anyone. But what should I reply then?
" She doesn't have a mate, she is like me. Now stop bothering her." Lucas said while coming outside from the kitchen.
" Here eat it. You were hungry, right? " He said and give me a bowl of noodles. Ummm, it smells delicious.
" Thanks..."
I replied and take the delicious-looking noodles from him. He turns around and started walking upstairs then I remember something, my car...
" Lucas...what about my car. I am not going to leave it there..."
"I already send Michal to return it to your house."
" Hey call him professor Asmodeus. you don't want to get punished on your first day..."
One of the boys said. He has blonde hair and beautiful ocean-like blue eyes.
I started laughing at his comment because Asmodeus sounds so funny...Seriously who has a last name like that...
" Sorry...It sounds so funny, who has that kind of the last name..." I replied and try to control my laugh.
" says who has the last name of the devil...Miss Morgenstern " Lucas replied and smirk at me...
" mine is better than you..." I replied and roll my eyes at him.
" Whatever...just come to my room after freshening up. I will help you with rules and history" Lucas replied and left the room.
" Did he just tease you...He always shouts at us..."
The boy, I think his name is psycho... said and pouts at me and I just chuckle at his reaction, he is cute as a baby...
" Why did he shouts at you all? "
I asked and sit at the kitchen counter. Some of them sit with me and others just return to their work.
" We don't know...He is just so strict" the girl with black hair replied
" Or he is of royal blood and thinks that we are inferior to him..."
Another girl with red hair comes and sits with us. She didn't have that veins-like mark.
" Royal blood...I don't understand." I asked
" He is the real crown prince of Alfheim. His ancestors reigned the whole kingdom for thousand years but one day they give their kingdom to the nightingales family because he was bored to be a king...they only give it on one condition any Asmodeus will never bow to them and can claim the kingdom in the future..."
One of the twins explains to me. I don't know if she is Lily or Jasmine because they both are identical.
So, Lucas is a crown prince that can explain why he is so beautiful like a prince charming...ugh, and arrogant too...
" His ancestor must be crazy...who gave up the kingdom..." I replied
" you will understand when you read the whole history. we can help you if you want.. by the way, my name is Yuki." the girl with black hair replies. she is so polite...
" yeah sure, I will love that..." I replied and start eating the noodles...
Everyone is so polite here, I just hope everyone at Alfheim is also as polite as them...
