"The boss wants to talk to you," the bodyguard said.
She looks at them with a hesitant expression on her face.
In a serious voice, she replied, "I'd rather go back to my room or speak to that dumbass.".
Daniel heard everything she was saying on the other end of the phone.
Daniel was known for his impatience, so he told Lydia, "Take the phone or you'll regret it.". Their spines tingled as his words rolled down their throat.

She said tiredly as she picked up the phone.
"What do you want,"
The angry Daniel, trying to remain calm, replied, "What I want.".

As Daniel went to take out his anger, he slammed his hands on his desk.

As he finished his sentence Lydia smirked. "I just wanted to check on you," he said.
"After checking on me, is there anything else you need?" Lydia said as she was waiting for him to answer.

"Why should I want anything from you? Just keep it to yourself." Though she does need many things, the last thing she would want to do is get them from him. She gestured to one of the men in the back that she wanted water. He seemed confusing at first, but then he understood. Then he went to bring her water.
"That's what I expected you to say anyway. Moreover, I will be back in four days. See you then." Just like that. Before he could hit the hang-up button, he heard her scream.
Just after hearing his words, she asked, "What in the world did you just say!". She was handed a cup of water as the man returned with it. She drank it while waiting for him to respond.
"I said I would return in four days, could it be that you're so eager to see me that you can't wait." He said in a proud voice.
Lydia began shocked after hearing his words, then begin coughing.
"Hey, why are you coughing."
Daniel could only hear Lydia coughing as she asked "Are you alright?" he didn't know what had happened, so he assumed she wasn't replying. He then asked the man whom he sent.
"Z, what happened," He asked.
Previously, Lydia was given the phone by a man called Z.
"Sir, the madam choked when she drank water," Z couldn't tell the reason, and besides, who would tell why she choked, so nobody dared to explain. Lydia immediately understood what was happening, so she interpreted.
She told them, "Anyway, you're coming in four days, so how about I come to you. But hold on, didn't you say you will be coming tomorrow?" Without getting an answer, she was about to hang up when she heard him answer.
"I never said that, and besides, it's your choice to come over here. No one is forcing you." He said before he hang up on her.
Immediately, she regretted what she said.
