Chapter 2

I already started working in

T&M company.  It has so hard and

great. I expected that.

I stood up going to the CEO office

. I knocked the door then he answered "come in "

I went inside and told him his

schedule for the day.

"Okay get out " he said

I left the office and went to my

desk opposite his office .

He's such a spoilt and rude person.

What does he mean by get out.

My phone rang checking it was Mia.

I smiled as I picked her call.

"Mia how has your new job been?

Your CEO oh no sorry your husband?" She said mockingly

"Mia stop joking" I said in an

unpleasant voice. I was not comfortable having her saying that to me.

" okay okay I was just kidding . I

called to check up on you. Just be patient enough. Also when are you visiting

your mum at the hospital?"

" I will be going today after work.

You k….." I was cut short by the alarming sound clearly means that Henry Leo

needs my attention

"Hey let's talk later Henry calls

for me"

After cutting the call I stood up

immediately then adjusted my skirt and went straight to his office. Knocking at

his office door then went in .

"Get me a coffee" he said sharply

"Okay sir " then I left the office.

There was a nearby coffee shop in

the street. I got the coffee, going back to the office I knocked the door again

and entered.

"This is your coffee sir" he looked

up and collected it from me. As I was about to go out of the office

 " who asked you to get a coffee full of

sugar?" He said angrily

"Sir…what do you mean by coff…." I

said looking so shocked

" you must be sick. I said get me a

coffee not a coffee full of sugar taste"

I got so speechless because how was

I supposed to know he does not want sugar in his coffee. He only told me to get

him coffee.

" sir Henry, the last time I

checked you asked me to get a coffee. You never told me you don't want sugar in

your coffee" I said in a pissed tone

" oh really? If you continue this

way how are you going to pay your mother's surgery fee ?"  He said standing up moving close to me

I got to annoyed and went close to

him to kick his leg. He fell immediately groaning in pain

"Hey are you crazy? You….ah my leg…

"

I left his office immediately and

went to the ladies toilet. Sitting down on the closet. I started crying.

"I shouldn't have done that.

I shouldn't have gotten angry

I shouldn't have kicked him"

I said in a regretting tone. How am

I going to pay my mother surgery fee now.

 "What have I done?"

I need to start looking for job

again. I left the toilet going to my table to pack my things. I shouldn't wait

for him to fire me.

I started packing then he came out

of his office. I pretend I didn't see him and continue packing.

"You think after kicking my legs

you can just pack your things and leave?"

I looked up thinking what else does

he want from me .

" I will sue you " he said in an

angry tone

"What? Don't be childish you frustrated

me first. Besides where is the evidence that I kicked your legs" I said trying

to convince him.

"Oh really? Evidence?" He said

laughing loudly

I really don't know why this  pathetic rich  guy is like this to me . I got scared a little

bit but I kept trying not to show my fears.

"You should know I can do anything

to you. I can pay the cops to arrest you . Do you want your mother dead before

they could  perform surgery on her?" He

said smiling

" Okay fine am sorry for kicking

your legs. " I said trying to convince him

"Oh you think saying sorry will

make me less angry or saying sorry will heal the leg you kicked?"

"Am sorry . What should I do then?

I will do anything you want " I said trying to convince him more

" you will do anything?" He smirked

"Yes I will" I said knowing full

well I just put myself in a deep shit

" okay good. And no changing of

minds. Else I will do the unthinkable "  he said

"Okay fine have heard you ."

"The first thing you will be doing

now is going to my parents house with me "

"What? Your parents house? What do

you mean by that ? What should I be doing there?" I said looking at him to give

me an answer because am totally lost

" I will introduce you to my mum as

my girlfriend. I will tell them am getting married to you"

"Wait wait! Am not getti…." He cut

me off

" if you accept now I will pay your

mother surgery fee now"  he said looking

at me keenly

I got so speechless. But I think my

mother comes first. I can do anything for my mum.

" okay deal"  I said confidently

" and this will be between us.

Okay?"

" yes "
