Spider-Verse: Creeping Hunger

In a wild twist of fate, I, a random person from another universe, find myself transmigrated into the body of Peter Parker from Gwen Stacy's universe, Earth 65B. But there's a catch - this version of Peter Parker was destined to die, paving the way for Gwen Stacy, the Ghost Spider to fall in love with Miles Morales. Well, let me tell you, I'm not going down without a fight! First things first, death is not on my to-do list. Nope, not happening. Secondly, did I mention I refuse to die? Yeah, it's a firm no from me. Thirdly, you guessed it, I absolutely refuse to meet my untimely demise. P.S: Just to make things interesting, I am gonna put some dirt in everyone's eyes!! ~ I will be posting on RR as well.

Zombie

"Yeah, because you're already beautiful,"

Gwen's cheeks flushed a delicate shade of pink, a mixture of surprise and delight coloring her expression. She playfully nudged him with her elbow, attempting to regain control of the remote.

"Smooth move, Peter," she teased, a rosy hue flushing upon her cheeks, an unexpected smile on her face.

Peter laughed at her reply. While he was in the midst of that, Gwen had already taken the remote. Right at that moment, his eyes sparkled as he grabbed a handful of popcorn in his palm.

Gwen who had just recovered the remote had horror etched onto her face as she saw the teenager devour the popcorn. Peter noticing Gwen pouting at him released a menacing laugh.

Gwen tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, a subtle gesture that revealed a touch of anticipation. With a defeated smile, she reached for a handful of popcorn, popping it into her mouth just as the zombie movie they had been eagerly waiting for began.

As the opening scene of the zombie movie unfolded, Peter and Gwen's excitement intensified, and their eyes fixated on the screen. The atmosphere in the room became a delightful blend of suspense and laughter as they found the supposedly scary moments to be unexpectedly comical.

With each jump scare or zombie encounter, instead of screams of terror, bursts of laughter echoed through the living room. Peter and Gwen shared amused glances.

Occasionally, their hands would brush against each other as they reached for more popcorn or instinctively sought comfort in each other's presence. It was a small gesture, but it spoke volumes about the growing closeness between them.

Peter's plan of Netflix & Chill until now had been a success, he was glad he bade popcorn because it was one of the major props for it's success.

He could not help but point at a zombie on the screen, teasing Gwen by saying,

"Hey, that zombie looks like you!"

Gwen playfully rolled her eyes, retaliating with a well-timed gesture as she pointed at a particularly intense scene.

"Oh, really? Well, that human getting eaten by one is definitely you!"

Suddenly at that moment...

*BHAM!!!*

Startled, Peter and Gwen jolted in their seats as a loud noise reverberated through the room. Their eyes widened, and for a brief moment, the movie was forgotten as they exchanged startled glances. It was as if reality had intruded upon their cozy little world.

Gwen broke the silence with a casual yet slightly concerned observation.

"I think that came from your bathroom," she said, pointing a finger in its general direction.

Peter's face turned noticeably pale as his gaze fixated on the bathroom. He nodded slowly, his response coming out in a slightly dumbfounded manner.

"Uh huh... uh huh..." he mumbled.

'FUCK MR POOPOO YOU BITCH!!!!!! I DIDNT GIVE YOU POWERS FOR THIS SHII!!!'

"...yeah... uh huh... very true," and continued... to mumble.

Gwen raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile on her face. She stepped closer, placing a gentle hand on Peter's shoulder.

"You don't think it's a zombie do you?"

Peter snapped out of his thoughts. He chuckled and shook his head, trying to play it off with a touch of sarcasm.

"Oh, absolutely! I mean, what else could it be? A zombie invasion in my bathroom, the stuff of nightmares!" He feigned a shudder for dramatic effect, a playful glint in his eyes.

Gwen giggled at his exaggerated response, her hand still resting gently on his shoulder. "Well, if there's a zombie in there, I think we can handle it. We make a pretty awesome zombie-fighting team, don't you think?"

Peter's fake smile grew wider, his nerves easing as he felt the warmth of their banter. "Bring it on, bathroom zombies!"

'NOOOOO LETS NOT GO THERE PLEASE!!! All my secrets... everything... MR FUCKING POOPOO YOU ARE DEAD MEAT!! IM GONNA MAKE MY GLOVE EAT YOU RAW!'

The two then walked toward the bathroom. Peter did not think he could hide it from Gwen since she had spider senses but that did not mean he could not spew bullshit right?

However, before doing that, he still had to be the first person to reach the bathroom. Gwen noticed the boy running toward the bathroom now.

Gwen's face went pale, and her voice rose in a mix of fear and panic. "Is there a zombie behind us? Why are you running?!"

Peter's hand shook slightly as he flung the bathroom door open, his eyes widening in surprise and shock.

The sight that greeted him inside was unexpected, catching him off guard.

Gwen, with her agile spider-like abilities, easily caught up to him, her calm demeanor contrasting with Peter's flustered state.

Gwen's blue eyes narrowed as she took in the scene before her and it did not take her much time to get flustered as well.

Peter and Gwen froze in their tracks as they witnessed the peculiar sight before them.

Three rats stood face to face, their small bodies emanating an unsettling energy. The crackle of electricity danced in their eyes, creating an intense atmosphere that filled the bathroom with an eerie ambiance.

One rat stood on the rim of the bathroom pot, one stood at the sink and the final one at the corner of the bathtub.

Gwen's arched eyebrows mirrored Peter's confusion and curiosity. "Okay, that is definitely not something you see every day."

Her eyebrows raised as she stared at the unique scene in front.

"Zombie rats?"

Her mind raced, trying to make sense of the bizarre situation. She was suspicious, she did not believe much in coincidence.

'There's something strange going on here.'

The rat on the rim of the pot seemed to be balancing itself effortlessly, its tiny paws gripping the edge with surprising agility. On it's rat-like visage, a menacing smirk formed. This was MR BOBO!

The one at the sink seemed fixated on the running water, its eyes gleaming with a strange intensity. It looked like as if his state of mind was very tranquil similar to a monk practicing chastity. This was MR POOPOO!

Meanwhile, the rat in the corner of the bathtub appeared to be investigating something hidden from view, glancing at the rat on the pot rim with a hidden blush on her rodent visage as she glanced at Mr. Poopoo. This was... uh, who is she?

Peter glanced at the female rodent weirdly. Then suddenly it clicked, everything did.

'WILMA!'

Gwen's eyes widened as she noticed the abnormal characteristics of two of the rats. She leaned in closer, her curiosity piqued by their unusual features. These rats seemed to deviate significantly from their normal counterparts, exhibiting eerie traits that resembled a lizard.

With a mixture of fascination and caution, Gwen observed their enlarged size, their long and menacing tails, and the fangs that protruded from their mouths like those of vampires. It was as if these rats had undergone a transformation.

She raised an eyebrow as an amused expression formed on her visage. She looked at Peter before speaking casually, making fun of the bizarre situation. Unaware of how not far from the mark she was.

"You have some unique pets."
