The heat from the sun shines down as the magic exams are sure to start now as Ryon walks back and sits down as his red hair starts to flow down as the wind pushes it backwards. As everyone who was taking the exams walked out the flavors the different magic users blended together.

Ryon would sigh as he looked towards the squad leaders and nods his excitement was unbelievable he is truly a magic super fan.

"Kenji put on a smile, we get to see these exams every four years, so why don't you have any excitement" Ryon said to Kenji

"Huh, what do you mean, I'm very excited," Kenji said as he scratched the back of his head and looked towards the opening floor.

"You have a funny way of showing it, but at least you came this time," Ryon said.

"Yeah yeah, your welcome for that, I heard there were some strong entries this time around, and there are some really strong young bucks in this kingdom, I heard they even took down some high ranked bandits that worked for the dark guild" Kenji said.

"Oh how'd you know about that," Ryon said.

"Chum told me over our last tea day," Kenji said.

"Oh, you still spend time with your old master, how empowering," Ryon said.

"Oh it seems the entries are walking out," Kenji said. As he and Ryon started to watch on as magic users from all around the world have come here to try to join a mage squad. The first round is a magic training course; those who are able to pass it will go into the tournament round. And Folosire has six entries this time around, and they all seem to have true potential, the first one from Flosire is Kotta middle child of the king and queen of Flosire, she has ice magic, the strongest version of it, she can even create dry ice, but she mainly use white ice. She has a cold glare to her as her mother has pushed a lot on her plate since she has the magic power to create dry ice. It's a family secret from a once great kingdom that fell, that power reminds the queen of her family. Kotta has long white icy long hair and bright blue eyes that shine and sparkle in the sun, and or the moon, her skin is pale, she has no imperfect marks.

Next was Bryn, you probably surely heard of him, he uses a super rare and strong magic, called shadow magic, it can be used for many things and truly depends on the user, Bryn was sure to pass this exam with his skill.

Now Gwen is an odd case she is an elf and during the time of war she was a small child she ended up losing her arm, but she was captured and the sick freaks changed her they killed her family right in front of her, they took off her arm one clean cut didn't even put her asleep she was alive for every damn minute for it. They slowly cut at her arms tenders parts and sawed into the bone, they forced her to stay awake Gwen watched and cried out for a hero, but this is the real world, after they chopped off her arm they implanted a new one using demon magic they gave her a demon arm, and she got with his arm its past and future as she was able to attain the magic that the arm possessed, it's called speed magic, with it the user can accelerate motion via attacks and even enhance their own speed, it does depend on the user, but not much more is known because the last speed magic user has been dead for over 50 years, but somehow they were able to find the body of one it's unknown how, but perhaps the body was but on ice. She mainly uses a Rapier, as tragic as her story is she still has hope, she was found as a young child and taken into Folosire, were she was raised.

Next is a boy named Eric he is a half elf, the boy is very bland but his skill is not he has water magic and has trained very hard to master it hes not to interesting he had a good family life his dad was a mage until a few years ago, Eric just wants to follow in his dads footsteps.

And then there is Hugo, he is very smart, he believes in technology, he builds tons of things for many folk, and makes every day life much easier. Hugo uses many advanced items and tools alongside his creation magic with which he can construct even stronger weapons and tools he is also tricky and wise beyond his years.

Lastly there is Maho, she is undoubtedly the strongest out of the six, she is a tall girl with bright blue hair she also has topaz eyes and a fancy top hair with a golden rim, she has gold looking high heel like shoes and a bright yellow skirt with a deeper gold suit piece with a long black coat, she also has thin black stockings her long hair is tied back into a long fold and wrapped even with being tied her hair still drops down to her knees. Maho comes from a royal family, its tragic that the family suffered from, improper morales, that lead to inbreeding, causing most of her family to die off, Maho happened to be lucky, Maho does have siblings some were, but she has not a clue to where they are. Mahos magic is passed down from her family. It's called 52 pick up, it's very unique, Maho shuffles a deck of 52 two cards depending on what card she gets determines what her magic does.

Now that it is the Folosire six, they all have a major chance to get into a magic squad since they are backed by Folosire. As the exams seem to be starting Tyson would sigh and get up from his seat as he walked over from Chum.

"Grandpa, can I have some spare coins for snacks?" Tyson asked Chum as he would look at the older man who was once a great fighter now a humble fisherman.

"Hmm sure i suppose that's fine, you did have a hard battle, i'm sure you learned a lot, take Jack with you, i think it's best if you stick together" Chum said as he looked up and saw Kenji as he watched Kenji leave his seat he smiled. And then spoke again "oh and get me a big caramel apple" Chum said as he handed Tyson a bag of coins the sparkle shined in his eyes.

"Thanks grandpa" Tyson said as he grabbed the bag of coins and smiled as he went back over to Jack

Henry would chuckle as David nods

"Ah so Tyson has really grown that big already" Henry said

"Hm the boy has potential that is for sure are you sure it's best for him to go get stuff by himself" David said.

"He is not alone, Jack is with him," Chum said.

"That boy from the east" Henry added

"Hm well that is true but Jack is still new to the kingdom, are you sure it is wise to have added him so early" David said.

"Its complex, the boy is from Folosire but he was stolen" Henry said

"Expand" David said as he turned his head towards Henry.

"He was Enso's son" Chum said David's eyes would widen as they shifted his glare and faded with sadness as his memories would bash bloody in his head as it forever haunts him.

"There's no way, i thought he died"

"Enso is long gone but his blood lives on," Chum said softly.

"Do you remember that day David?" Henry asked as the memory smokes and burns into David's mind.

Enso was a man with long dark red hair, he had a giant scar that cut across his face and blasted him with a gray and red outline from a battle long passed Enso was around six foot six with long legs and stiff shoulders Enso was just different he wore slick sandals and a cut off black slim suit with a mage jacket it hard a red hawk stitched in. Enso also wore a half mask to cover his face. Enso was known for using a long edited sword. It was pitch black and would glow, the sword had a straight cut as both sides had an edge to swap the cutting styles the bottom of it had a gray brim.

This event happened around nine to ten years ago. It was tragic, the kingdom was raided by demons as the death rune Litch was being locked away at this time it was captured at the nearing end of the great dawn wars. But other kingdoms took this thing as a god.

Enso was the only one who sensed it, he knew something was off, his ears were bleeding from the pressure of his sensory overload. Enso dashed into the main hall where he saw David a young and up and coming Knight. And Enso apprentice.

"David, come with me, we have trouble, is king Blan here?"

Enso asked.

"No sir he is out, Prince Henry and his 2 daughters are here" David said.

"Come with me we have to hurry" Enso said as David nodded as the two of them dashed off. They came to the holding cell as they saw a Rune kingdom mage freeing the Litch with death magic, and a demon spell the magic was unbreakable.

The Litch was already free as it created an expanding force that blasted Enso and David back; the Litch was able to summon lesser demons and devils as it was planning to turn everyone in Folosire into a demon.

"Run David get out of here warn everyone, and get my son out of here, i don't want to lose him as well, i already lost my wife, he's with the nurse once you do push everyone out of this area im going to block it off" Enso said as he shouted and pushed David back as the Litch started to turn everything and everyone it could into a demon with its power David ran as fast as he could as he started to warn everyone they pushed out of the area as David made it to Ensos house the nurse was already gone it's like she rushed out in a hurry, but she to worked for the Litch she tried to turn the young Jack into a demon but failed, for some reason it's like he had an angel, but jack did go missing as another rune kingdom mage took the small child before David could even do anything.

"Lord Cronos, hear me block this area with your time magic and Lord hades burn this area to hell!"

Enso yelled as he knew his fate, and smiled at it. But the Litch was powerful; it struck with its devil chains and broke the connection to Hades and Cronos gave his remaining power to help seal this thing forever.

But after this event Hades was forever stuck in the underworld and Cronos vanished.

But Enso had to buy time as the Litch wanted freedom.

"I swear you will not affect our world i promised Mary our son would live in a world without fear"

Enso said as he digged out his blade Enso slashed down into the Litch was the undead freak blasted magic energy at him Enso cut it in half as his blood started to boil Enso was becoming a demon, he knew this was to happen if he stayed and faced down the foe but he refused to give up.

As Enso dug his feet down and bashed his blade into the Litch bones cut into Ensos chest as a cage held down the Litch magic was casted as the Litch was now being held down as King Blan walked over.

"I have your Enso we die together" the old man said

"No just me!" Enso said

"No, I am a weak old man and they need more time, us using our magic together will work" Blan said as he held the Litch down with a strong dark force.

Enso dashed over and indeed landed his fist and blades down cutting again and again into the Litch.

Enso dashed and slammed down the Litch as his fist blasted into the Litch.

But this undead creature started to shoot sharp bones into the area and then would explode the bones trying to break the barrier but it was no use.

Blan sighs and looks away.

"My son make our kingdom great, death dawn seal a fate sealed forever"

Blan said as he created a death seal and placed it on the Litch as with the help of Hades and Cronos the death seal would cause the LItch to be valuable and even erase it.

"End it!" Blan said as he faded away due to the death seal.

"Blan…." Enso said as switched his feet placement and changed to the two handed form style

"Flame dance style Nine marked to kill." Enso said as his blade turns into a smoke and then flames as he starts to stab into the LItch, memories fade away like the blade as it's hard to know what did happen during that fight.

David nods and sighs

"I do remember how i thought the boy was dead, i tried to save him i spent years but nothing" David said.

"I wanted to tell you sooner we found him five years back," Henry said.

"And you never told me" David said

"It is complex, we found him in the rune kingdom they tried to use him but we found him and he was raised in secret to protect him from the rune kingdom" Henry said.

"But why not tell me!!!!" David said

"Only I knew I had the others who were wiped, we wanted him to be safe" Henry said.

"I guess I can kinda understand that, so Jack is Ensos son… he might grow to be twice the man his dad was and that's saying something" David said.

"So you see Tyson will be fine" Chum said as he smiled

Tyson and Jack went off to go grab some snacks from the vendor they both dashed off and hurried.

As that was happening Bryn was getting ready he sighed as he changed into a trainee uniform. It was a simple light gray komono that had the words trainee on the back of it painted in white.

Kotta walked over and approached Bryn. She nods and smiles towards Bryn as she looks away again and then back.

"So are you going to ever marry my sister? I want to be an aunt, put a baby in her" Kotta said bluntly.

" What the hell, what's with saying something like that!" Bryn said as his face turned bright red.

"What everyone knows is that you two love each other," Kotta said.

"Look I need to focus just leave me be kid" Bryn said as he sighs.

"I'm not a kid im 15" Kotta said

"Whatever i need to be prepared" Bryn said as he karate chops Kotta softly

Eric would then walk over and sit down next to Bryn

"So Bryn you are taking this year's test, man you're going to crush it" Eric said.

"Don't give me an ego now," Bryn said.

"Man, I want the great Hana to pick me for her squad." Kotta said.

"You're lucky to even get into a squad," Bryn said.

"Hey, be nice to me," Kotta said as she pouted.

"Well Bryn what's your game plan" Eric asked

"Not telling you" Bryn said

"What!?!??!" Eric said as he fell over and sighed.

"It's best if only i know my plan" Bryn said as he looks over and notices Maho calm as she can be.

Hugo would also be sitting alone working on something.

As everyone was getting prepared and set up it would just be about time to start as the alarm sounds and every one is shuffled into a small maze-like room with a sticky honey-like liquid filling the room meaning everyone would have to start to move.

"Ok everyone lets get this started round one is a rush to the end because only 50 entries will pass this round i know in total there is 300 entries in total, now let's get going race to the end"

Ryon said as all the examinees took off and started running to get to the end of the maze.

"Oh yeah use any method to pass this section, use your magic to your heart's content" Ryon said as he looked over to see if Kenji was in his seat to only see he wasn't.
